1. Crash Landing on You
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Recommended by .Elbee
This was an enjoyable and light-hearted watch. The highlight of this drama was the chemistry between the leads. The story had a few glitches here and there ,but a breezy watch. I feel the first few episodes were a bit slow paced hence couldn't binge watch but it picked up in the last few episodes .
All the supporting actors acted well too. I really enjoyed the camaraderie between the ML and his troop. The OST was amazing!

2. Healer
Korean Drama - 2014, 20 episodes

To outline the drama it was an absolutely wonderful and interesting watch.
There was a bit of everything for me that worked here - action, romance with both strong male and female lead and a bit of suspense and drama. The story kept me intrigued and invested till the very end. Each and every detail or clues in every episode somehow made sense at the end. I couldn't find any story loopholes. Tbh story isn't very unique but it is put together to almost perfection. You would really have to nitpick (which I am not gonna do :D)
The acting by all the cast members were perfect! The romance arc between the ML and FL is simply beautiful. The chemistry between them is FIRE! No nonsense! Just 2 adults trying their best to be together and handle things maturely. The OST was decent too. -
3. Marry My Husband
Korean Drama - 2024, 16 episodes

Overall an enjoyable watch. The drama had a very strong start. The premise was so strong that I was sure it would be one of 10's but the writing of later episodes kinda ruined it for me. In the last few episodes it fell short and felt a bit rushed! The revenge plot felt too stretched at times.
The acting of FL was convincing and good ! The pain ! The betrayal! One could feel it but was a little disappointed with the chemistry between her and ML initially, though it was picked up in later episodes. Surprisingly the main antagonists stole the show for me with their acting skills.
The ending for me was satisfactory but a lot could have been done with that story and the talented cast.

4. Our Secret
Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes

It was a good one time watch. I had a lot of expectations from the series and somewhere I was little disappointed.
Starting episodes have alot of potential but the character of FL was weak. Her perusing science over arts because the ML took science didn't sit well with me.
The chemistry was there (a lot of fluff and cute moments) but them not communicating properly just threw me off a little.
It's not bad as the acting of leads is good to watch but it could have been better! -
5. Something in the Rain
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes

Thank you for the recommendation. This was a beautiful watch! The chemistry was great between the actors and the slow burn romance was portrayed beautifully. It was very realistic.I enjoyed the first 10 episodes of the drama thoroughly especially their honeymoon phase. This drama also tackles the harassment issue women face at a workplace and how FL finally takes a stand for herself and overcomes it is satisfactory.
The ML's acting was impressive. It made me believe he really loved the FL. I may be biased here as I am his fan from OSN! xD
I saw reviews comparing it to One spring night and though the setting and ML are similar I kinda disagree.
This drama for me fell short because of the below or it would have been a solid 10!
- When the female lead was still indecisive about the ML after him reassuring her and then breaking up without having a proper conversation didn't sit well with me.
- Her mother kind of became too overbearing for me. I understand the Asian household theme they were trying to portray but I wish FL drew a line and took a stand.
OSN had the similar theme but the FL kinda woke up on time! But again a pretty wonderful watch.

6. Mr. Queen
Korean Drama - 2020, 20 episodes
Recommendation by dearuto
A perfect romcom for me! The comedy in the drama shines out for me. It is not forced and it actually makes you laugh! Though there is comedy, there are also twists and turn that keeps you hooked for 20 episodes. The acting by both the leads was phenomenal. The chemistry is undeniable. I couldn't find a flaw in FL's acting. Was seriously impressed.Overall an amazing romcom drama with a strong story line, amazing acting and beautiful OST's.

7. Blood
Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes
Recommendated by Sweetsis
I was very intrigued by the medical-supernatural theme drama (both being my favourite troops ) and the premise was promising. I really liked how they tried to scientifically and medically justify the vampire-ishness rather than the same old sparkling in the sun.
Acting was convincing for me. Ahn Jae-hyun was a broody vampire with goofiness here and there. FL was overbearing at times but entertaining. Tbh I loved the bond between ML and his friend more than I liked ML and FL. Villains were strong.
But after episode 5/6 , I felt the plot changed. The doctor stopped treating patients. He was here and there all the time. It felt a bit draggy at times. The ending has a lot of unanswered questions which was a real disappointment for me.
Overall a strong plot with a lot of potential weakened with mediocre writing in the middle leading to a weak ending.

8. Never Let Me Go
Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
Recommended by Tanii
-1: High school students running mafia??!! Was very hard to connect to the story and a few actions just seemed like unnecessary plot devices and fillers. Profusing love and promising to stay together, then vanishing by writing just a note seemed too lame and this being done numerous times in the story just annoyed me. Had they portrayed them as high school confused teenagers it would have somehow worked but them handling adult mafia business and behaving like this didn't sit well with me.
-0.5: The editing and the colour scheme of this drama made it a bit melancholic - even the happy scenes (The ones on the beach were very dull even though it was supposed to be fluff!)
-1: The leads were GORGEROUS yet acting was a bit lacking for me from both of them. They had their moments with good chemistry but seemed pretty rigid and one-dimensional to me.
-0.5- The choice of OST was confusing to me and sometimes was too loud so couldn't hear the dialogues properly.
Overall a BL with distractingly handsome leads who could not distract me from the plot holes and weak writing of the story.

9. Mr. Heart
Korean Drama - 2020, 8 episodes

Such a cute and light hearted watch. All the cliches put together but pulled with good acting and chemistry. Both the leads did a good job. Their chemistry and interactions were fun, felt natural and organic.I loved Sangha! *_* The actor did a fantastic job - the innocence, the patience and the quirkiness!
In Ep 4 , the way Sangha confessed/explained why he liked Jiwon was heartwarming!! The debt collector's arc did make sense to me after Sangha's confession but didn't add much to the plot (their love story).
For a short run time drama like this I would have preferred if the focus was more on the development of their love story . It kind of felt rushed towards the end as how Jiwon confessed. 2 more episodes after the race would have made the ending more justifiable (Maybe ? )
There were few loose ends here and there but considering the run time , it is understandable to an extent. Overall an enjoyable watch!

10. Dr. Romantic
Korean Drama - 2016, 20 episodes
Recommended by .Elbee
For any medical drama genre lovers out there, this is a solid pick. The medical cases are really well-researched, and I liked how they intertwined with the personal stories of the doctors.
The heart of the show was Teacher Kim for me !! His unconventional methods added a unique flair, even though he could be a tough nut to crack at times. However, I would have liked a bit more background on him to justify his stubbornness in the initial episodes.
The young doctors also nailed their roles and acted well. The only thing that was off-putting for me was the romance angle which felt very rushed. I mean, falling head over heels after just a couple of episodes? It was way too soon and then the accident arc. It kinda felt unnecessary. Though I did enjoy their chemistry in the later episodes after proper character development. Thankfully, the show didn't go all-in on the romance stuff. It stayed true to the medical genre and focused on the camaraderie among the hospital staff, which saved it for me.
Overall this was a very good watch. -
11. Lovely Runner
Korean Drama - 2024, 16 episodes
Recommended by leafless7
The drama started out great but fizzled in second half. Too many plot holes , a serial killer in romcom WE DON'T NEED THAT and some decisions by characters. There wasn't enough content for 16 eps. I loved the ML's acting but FL's character didn't impressive me. Her decisions came to me as illogical sometimes and honestly they did bad to SML. He deserved better. Overall , I didn't get the hype around this.

12. Love All Play
Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes
Recommended by dearuto
This was a light and enjoyable one time watch drama for me. It focuses more on the romance than the actual sports. The first few episodes were solid with good character development but then it got kinda slow, dragging out misunderstandings way too long when it could have been solved easily. The characters were mostly likable, but some like Taejun’s sister’s story, were super predictable. And don’t even get me started on the older lady on the team , it was so frustrating to watch and FL justifying her actions really took me out. Recommended on if you are into melodrama and don’t mind plot holes here and there.
