Korean Dramas With Great OSTs
-
1. Hit the Top
Korean Drama - 2017, 32 episodes
The Best Hit - The OST goes so well with the theme of drama since it's about a rapper/idol who's training for his debut. The OST's are also sung by rappers and idols in Korea (Yoon Mi Rae, Changmo, BoA, Kyuhyun, etc.) Maybe I'm just glad they didn't throw in a bunch of ballad songs and decided to call it a day.
There's also a scene in the drama where the actor (Kim Min Jae) raps his own song which they released as part of the OST. - u/vebin4
-
2. While You Were Sleeping
Korean Drama - 2017, 32 episodes
While You Were Sleeping: This drama had an awesome OST with some really great tracks that would be great regardless if you watched the drama or not. Two in particular that stood out to me were It's You (Henry) and When Night Falls (Eddy Kim). While You Were Sleeping was a crime-romance drama, so these songs were used during the more emotional and/or romantic scenes. They really brought out the feeling of the scene and made the entire drama captivating. The OST was never distracting, and only enhanced the drama-watching experience. - u/eal8
While you Were Sleeping - I literally fell in love with the OST from the first time I watched it, I downloaded the entire OST and I still love all the songs, they just set a really nice mood. And of course the drama itself is well worth the watch. - u/heyheyitsjustme
While You Were Sleeping - ONLY FOR IT'S YOU by HENRY. NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS. - u/santosgda
While You Were Sleeping - Basically everyone else's guilty pleasure for OSTs aside from Goblin. Top songs include: I Love You Boy, It's You, When a Long Night Comes, Lucid Dream - u/ivanraptor730
-
3. Goblin
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Goblin - This is a given and everyone raves about it, but it's for a good reason. The show is already super emotional as it is, and the music is inserted so perfectly imo that the funny parts feel even lighter and the sad parts are SAD so you truly end up experiencing both ends of the spectrum. The song Amnesia (not sure if that's the official name as I've also seen it being called Lost Memories) from the background music is my absooooolute favorite and makes me cry lol. I also love the way Kim Kyunghee's tracks And I'm Here and Stuck In Love are used/placed in the show. The whole OST is great. - u/Pixl3rt
Goblin! I like that there is everything from bubbly pop songs to heartwrenching ballads, it captures all the different aspects/moods of the show really well. Stay With Me is so iconic, you just have to hear the first guitar chords and you think of Goblin - u/Bichette_
Goblin - What can I say? The soundtrack is God tier. Nothing will beat Goblin's soundtrack. Seriously considering adding their songs to the music I'll play on my wedding. It's that great. - u/santosgda
-
4. Kill Me, Heal Me
Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes
Kill Me Heal Me - I still listen these songs on loop sometimes. Auditory Hallucination (Jang Jae-in, Na Show) fits great to the drama and gives me goose bumps ever time I hear the first notes. - u/cergenekon
-
5. Dream High
Korean Drama - 2011, 16 episodes
Dream High - Literally all of the songs. Dream High album was the first OST Album I have purchased. I still remember the scenes the songs played. I discovered some old korean songs beacause of the drama. This drama turned almost all of it’s cast to A-list actors. - u/cergenekon
-
6. Heartstrings
Korean Drama - 2011, 15 episodes
Heartstrings - It was the time when I was into Park Shin Hye, Heartstrings is a goofy kind of drama. Its about two musical enthusiasts, one classical and one modern. Both cross paths as college rivals and meet at a faceoff. The loser has to become a slave for the winner. Whenever they fall in love, there is this amazing OST, The Day we Fell in Love. Its just so good. You will like the other OSTs as well. - u/mrobviousreasons
-
7. Hotel del Luna
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Hotel Del Luna - The overall soundtrack is hauntingly beautiful and captures the sense of loss and pain in the show quite beautifully. - u/TotoroTheGreat
-
8. When the Weather Is Fine
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
When the Weather is Fine - A beautifully mellow soundtrack for a beautifully mellow show. The show relies heavily on its slow pacing and gorgeous ambience to create a mellow and warm atmosphere and I think the soundtrack adds another dimension to this. The songs might not be the most memorable when compared to some of the other popular shows in the list, but the soundtrack completes this drama. - u/TotoroTheGreat
-
9. My Mister
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
My Mister - I've seen so many dramas which have elements that weren't as memorable as the rest of the show. Soundtrack is often times one of those elements. For me, My Mister is a perfect show that encapsulates human emotions beautifully in its 16 episode runtime, and when I look back upon it, there's not one element that I don't find memorable, soundtrack included. Every song and piece of music in this bears a weight that carries this amazing masterpiece of a drama forward just as well as the rest of the components that make it. - u/TotoroTheGreat
My Mister - I never thought background music can be so memorable till I watched My Mister, every piece of music used is masterfully composed! from tracks that breaks your heart just by listening to them to those who tell an astonishingly accurate story to their titles!Sorry for Myself, Feeling Guilty, An Ordinary Day, My Family, Their Way Of Love, That Kind of Person, When You Want to Rest Your Mind.
The core of the soundtrack consists of the iconic character song of Ji An, "Adult" by Sondia,Ji An's love song to Ajussi "Dear Moon" which is written by IU herself, *Jung Hee'*s theme song "One Million Roses" that was conceptualized throughout the drama, and probably the best song in the whole drama "There Is a Rainbow" by Vincent Blue & O.When. it's smoothing and wishful! - u/rawarauf
My Mister. The ost is heart rending and fits the story perfectly . - u/Hee-Bay
-
10. Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo
Korean Drama - 2016, 20 episodes
Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo: The entire album is so great! Starting from "For You" to "My Love", literally every song added a charm to the album. Also the OSTs were played at the perfect moment in the drama so once you listen to the OST you can actually imagine the scene it'd be playing for. The first half of the drama is pretty light and so the OSTs played during then were more lighter than the OSTs played in the heavier second half of the drama which just proves how varied the album was. One of the best albums of 2016 easily! The album had some pretty big names singing songs which was an add on. - u/Fatooz
Scarlet Heart Ryeo - The touch of modern songs in a historical drama is a good touch, enough to make one believe that the drama will touch every person's heart. Wang So and Hae Soo 4ever. - u/santosgda
The whole OST was amazing!! For you is still one of my top played songs - u/Thaikooon
Personal faves are A Lot Like Love, For You, Forgetting You and Say Yes - u/meeeaaah12
-
11. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Weightlifting Fairy Kim Book Joo - The songs in the OST are balanced with the fluffy scenes between the leads. Its not too dramatic, but just right. They make you feel all warm inside and not emotionally damaged haha! - u/santosgda
-
12. Encounter
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
Encounter - This series is poorly rated, however, I watched it with low expectations and the music is fantastic, so I enjoyed it. The soundtrack doesn't get mentioned a lot, but its really good. I remember actually feeling the depth of the love of the characters just by listening to the soundtrack. - u/santosgda
Encounter - The songs in this drama are heavenly soothing! They're the type of songs you'll add to your easy listening playlist even after the drama has ended. Favorite songs: Take Me On (나를 데려가 라), The Day We Met (영화 같던 날), Into My Heart (그대가 이렇게 내 맘에), Don't Hesitate (망설이지 마요), and On My Way To You (Canon mashed with another arrangement). - u/Shop-girl152
-
13. Be Melodramatic
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Be Melodramatic - If I remember correctly, they only have about 7 songs on their OST. But I loved it. Just thinking about it now makes me remember how much this series made me giggle and smile. The actors actually sung some of the songs, they aren't great, which makes it even better hahaha because their voice is rusty. - u/santosgda
-
14. Hospital Playlist
Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
Hospital Playlist - The show is musical with the best feature of having the main cast as the real singers and musicians of each song performed. I love that most of the songs are beautifully retro. Since the show itself is about a band playing music, expect all song choices to be great, like: Canon (rock), Me To You, You to Me (너에게 난, 나에게 넌 ), In Front of the City Hall at the Subway Station (시청 앞 지하철 역에서 ), Aloha, Lonely Night, Introduce Me A good Person, Confession Is Not Flashy. - u/Shop-girlNY152
Hospital Playlist - Absolutely incredible songs featured in the series because they play a band. I forget I'm not Korean when I listen/watch their songs since I really try v hard to pronounce it haha! - u/santosgda
-
15. W
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
W: Two Worlds - The series gets mentioned a lot, but not the soundtrack. I loved it. It's more of background music than actual songs, but overall, its a beautiful soundtrack. - u/santosgda
-
16. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Strong Woman Do Bong Soon - I could never leave this out because the soundtrack makes me feel really in love and in cloud 9. - u/santosgda
-
17. Crash Landing on You
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Crash Landing On You had a beautifully curated soundtrack which suited the story perfectly (almost as perfectly as those suits fit RJH in SK). From the sad ballads played when the leads are pining for each other to the the cutesy tracks played when they're coming to terms with their feelings for each other, the songs were perfectly complementary to the mood of the show. My favorites include: Flower by Yoon Mi Rae, Sunder by Davichi, Here I am again by Yerin Baek, Give You My Heart by IU, and Like You by So Soo Bin. And i cannot forget the iconic piano track that RJH wrote for his brother. Like Yoon Se Ri even I fall asleep to it sometimes. - u/potterwhomerswiftie
Crash Landing On You - Honestly the instrumental tracks and background music here stand out to me a little more than the actual OST, but by no means is the OST bad because it's still very good. When looking at everything, it's cohesive and all the songs complement each other really well. I've never heard an OST that's so fitting for a show, and tracks like The Hill of Yearning and Same Sky, Different World make me feel all soft inside. - u/pixl3rt
Crash Landing On You - Almost all the songs in this show are beautiful! They perfectly complemented the scenes in each episode. The songs give you that fluffy, heart fluttering feels even when you finished the drama. Best songs in the drama are: Sunset (노을), Here I Am Again (다시 난, 여기), Flower, Song For My Brother, and Sigriswil (even the sound of this reminds of you Switzerland). - u/Shop-girlNY152
Crash Landing on You - The OST itself is decent on its own. Top picks: but its destiny, sunset - u/ivanraptor730
-
18. Itaewon Class
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Itaewon Class has a great collection of really uplifting songs. The popularity of Gaho's Start Over is just an example. It's one of the most complete and coherent OST albums I have come across, where multiple songs make their presence felt and are memorable. Lee Chan Sol's cover of Still Fighting It is so gut wrenching especially when it is played in moments Seroyi spends with his father. It always moves me to tears. - u/potterwhomerswiftie
-
19. It's Okay, That's Love
Korean Drama - 2014, 16 episodes
It's Okay That's Love - No other drama incorporates English songs like this drama does. I'll never forget that black & white flashback scene with Family of the year - Hero song. Other songs are Twin Forks - Cross My Mind, Soul by Brandon Pacheco, Little Suns - Sunboat - u/RayInRed
-
20. Chicago Typewriter
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Chicago Typewriter. It's OSTs have ethereal quality to them. All of them are great. But one I listen to routinely are Come With Me, Time Walk and Saltnpaper - Satellite. - u/RayInRed
-
21. The Fiery Priest
Korean Drama - 2019, 40 episodes
The Fiery Priest. Since it's a action comedy, it has that high energy OSTs. Some OSTs nicely played over fight scenes. They were so good that Backstreet Rookie uses one of the theme (Fighter) during the fight scenes. It also has a westerny theme named Eurachacha run run. - u/RayInRed
-
22. Hello Monster
Korean Drama - 2015, 16 episodes
Hello Monster, has few surprisingly good OSTs for a Psychological thriller drama. One that stuck with me is Remember - Dear Cloud - u/RayInRed
-
23. The King: Eternal Monarch
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
The King: Eternal Monarch - The songs are a good mix of ballads and upbeat tunes, and there's not a single weak song in track list. If you loved the show, you would know exactly the pivotal moments when a particular track is used. The lyrics to a lot of the songs also provide a clue as to what will happen in the story. Personal favorite songs are Dream and Gravity.
Aside from the songs though, the background instrumentals used on the show are sublime. The love theme (My Love and...) is absolutely beautiful, so much so that I liked it immediately from the small sample played in the show's early teaser! Other standout tracks are The Fantasia of Another Dimension, The Day and Into the Fantasy. Despite the wealth of good BGMs on the OST album, believe it or not, they still left out a lot of great tracks used on the show (I still wonder why huhu). Thankfully, there are lots of covers to tide me over on YouTube. - u/my_guinevere
The King: Eternal Monarch - This is my new favorite OST next to Goblin's. It's got everything, with songs ranging from those that are intense (like The Fantasia of Another Dimension) to those that are calming (like The Day). I will say that they are 100x more powerful and emotional if you hear them during the show for the first time vs listening to them on your own first. I know that's true with pretty much every OST, but I feel that you really need to watch the show to be able to fully appreciate them when you listen to the songs by themselves. Another reason for this is that there's a few songs I heard throughout the drama that aren't included on the official OST. My favorites are Gravity and Maze, and from the background music I love Into The Fantasy (the piano in this!!!!). - u/Pixl3rt
-
24. The Legend of the Blue Sea
Korean Drama - 2016, 20 episodes
The Legend of the Blue Sea - This might seem like an odd choice for some, but I particularly enjoyed the music during the scenes from the past. The way the drama is structured shows most of these scenes at the beginning of the episodes, and I think the music helps set a nice tone and pace for the rest of the episode. I think they could be described as sad ballads, but I love Hidden Story and My Name. - u/pixl3rt
The Legend of the Blue Sea - Another one of those albums I had not anticipated to love. From the very first OST, I think the drama did a great job of editing them into a particular scene which eventually enhanced the watching experience but also let the OST enter your playlist. There were some emotional OSTs along with some goofy ones, very well balanced into the tone of the drama. - u/Fatooz
-
25. When the Devil Calls Your Name
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
When The Devil Calls Your Name - A Faustian drama about a man selling his soul to the devil for fame and youth encountering a girl with who has lived a tough life but possesses immense musical talent. Featuring a lot of really good guitar based tracks with 70’s rock influences and touching ballads. Actor Jung Kyung Ho even sings on several tracks. - u/txc_vertigo
-
26. The Tale of Nokdu
Korean Drama - 2019, 32 episodes
Tale of Nokdu, it still gives me chills to this day. If you’re a fan of the leads, the soundtrack will even tug your heartstrings more. I’m not really into the leads, actually, but me still liking the OST says a lot about it. It’s a perfect balance of slow and “poppy”, upbeat and mid tempo tracks that really showcased the spectrum of genres the drama tried to deliver.
Scar - the most used song, and I think the strongest track of them all. It’s just filled with emotions and sung so strong and gently at the same time. Perfectly sums up the drama.
Shine on you - another ballad that’s second to Scar in terms of prominence in the drama. Very romantic song.
Other romantic or sad ballads: Your warmth, Sunshine Wind Star U, and Unending Melody. I love SWSU and YW the most in this list, but all of them are really good tracks and very well-sung.
And then comes the more current, poppy, mid tempo songs like Miracle, Baby Only You, and Lingering Inside Me. - u/picklejarre
-
27. Reply 1988
Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes
Reply 1988 - The choice of retro songs/sounds were wisely done. Even the English songs thrown in will give you that nostalgic feel (Right Here Waiting, Time of My Life, Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You, and many English Christmas songs). Korean retro songs that will stay with you even after the drama has ended: Hyehwadong (혜화동), Don't Worry (걱정말아요 그대), Youth(청춘). - u/Shop-girlNY152
-
28. Something in the Rain
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
Something In the Rain - I love that the director chose purely English songs for this drama. It gave it that classy, old-Hollywood-romance feels even if they ruined the story on the second half of the show. The chosen songs are so beautiful that I didn't mind having just 3 songs repeated over and over again in the whole drama: Stand By Your Man (both versions by Carla Bruni and Tammi Wynette were perfect!), Save The Last Dance For Me (thankful to discover that Bruce Willis version), and Something In The Rain. - u/Shop-girlNY152
-
29. I Hear Your Voice
Korean Drama - 2013, 18 episodes
I Hear Your Voice - Another drama that you don't mind even if they play 3 songs with many variations throughout. The songs were perfect for the show's mood, and they're still enjoyable to listen to even in this present time: Echo (에코) (especially love the Acoustic version), Why Did You Just Come Now? (왜 이제야 왔니?), and In My Eyes. - u/Shop-girlNY152
-
30. Descendants of the Sun
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Descendants of the Sun: From peppy to slow to a bit up beat songs, the album is so amazing. Pretty much every OST is my favorite one be it "Always", "You Are My Everything", "Once Again" or "Everytime", I love them all. It was probably the first drama whose entire album I loved. Also, some of the OSTs really do give you all the feels. The drama is also worth the watch if you're interested in action romance and Song Joong-Ki's character is so witty and quirky. Along with the drama being a good watch, the soundtrack added a lot to it. - u/Fatooz
Descendants of the Sun - The chosen songs really added points to this series. Those that linger in your head after watching: Talk Love (말해! 뭐해?), You Are My Everything, Always. - u/Shop-girlNY152
DESCENDANTS OF THE SUN! Periodtttt. Newer kdramas also have great OSTs that add to the flair of the series. But the songs in DOTS really just stick to you even yearsssss after the series. When I hear a song, specific and clear scenes come to mind. That's when you know the OST good! - u/Hamsterboot
Dots ost are so good all of them perfect but i guess everytime is the best one - u/fiyuvfiyuv
-
31. Save the Last Dance for Me
Korean Drama - 2004, 20 episodes
Save The Last Dance - A classic drama which has the most memorable songs: Give My Love (in both English and Korean versions), and My Dream (sung by Eugene herself) - u/Shop-girlNY152
-
32. Misty
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
Misty - The OST is dramatic, suspenseful and very captivating. I loved how it uses Violin and Piano to produce such a sad yet so beautiful music composition, favorite tracks were (There Were None, Blind Love, Provoke, Misty).
Not to forget Painful Love by Lee Seung Chul was the best part of the OST! the first time it played, on ep.3 made me hooked to the drama only to watch the next episode and listen to that song again and again! It's such a sweet melody with bittersweet meaning behind!Someday, again by Lee Seung Chul, and Don't Cry by KLANG were just as heart-wrenching as ever too! listen only when you want to cry! [like cry alot!] - u/rawarauf
-
33. Soul Mechanic
Korean Drama - 2020, 32 episodes
Soul Mechanic - It's peaceful and refreshing! from the very first song "I'm fine" by Oh Hayoung to "Lean on me" by Ha Hyunsang and "Confuse" by Suran. They were always a perfect fit to go with the scenes. The background music is such a relaxing thing, as if it's to heal us viewers alongside our wounded leads.... My favorite track would be: Horizon (Guitar Ver.) - Peace of Mind - Present (Slow ver.) - u/rawarauf
-
34. Because This Is My First Life
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Because This is My First Life - "Marriage" by MoonMoon is such a memorable song which exactly tell the life of Se Hi, before getting to know Ji Ho, while Jung So Min, with her sweet and smoothing voice sang a song for the drama too called "Because You're Here""Shelter" and "This Life" are two more charming yet very sad songs. whenever the leads are drifting apart, either of these songs starts playing and it's really heartbreaking in many ways! I also loved what's probably known most for this drama, the delightful song titled "Drawing A Star" by U Ji. and let's not forget "Don't Go" by Ben, the meaning of the song is so deep and Ben's voice as always is pure blessing! - u/rawarauf
-
35. Healer
Korean Drama - 2014, 20 episodes
Healer: The very first drama that I intensively enjoyed! and part of that contribute to the stellar soundtrack here! "Eternal Love" by Michael Learns To Rock, is just a beautiful song! a very beautiful one! an amazing song that makes you listen to it over and over to relieve the withdrawal pain after finishing the drama for a while! It's been 4-5 years since watching this drama and there is another track which makes me all excited whenever I hear it! and that would be the theme music "Healer". It's such a perfect composition full of thrill and joy!
"You" by BEN, is a masterpiece of a track by itself, Ben's voice has never been so clear and poetic, listening to it while watching the intimate scenes between the leads will just melt any heart!
Last but not least, there is the English track "When You Hold Me Tight" by Yael Meyer which is a fluffy and cute song! keeps reminds me of the scene where Bong Soo is running around the room in the cafe pretending to be afraid of Yeong Shin's adoptive father and his scary friend! - u/rawarauf
-

39. My Golden Life
Korean Drama - 2017, 52 episodes
My Golden Life - Not everyone appreciates this because the OST is not on Spotify. It is on youtube though, and on some korean mp3 sites. The OSTs really combines all moods. Top picks for me: The Wind is Blowing, Beautiful Girl, instrumentals. - u/ivanraptor730
-
40. The Girl Who Sees Scents
Korean Drama - 2015, 16 episodes

-
41. A Piece of Your Mind
Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
A Piece of Your Mind - Mostly contains chill mood and sad mood songs. Top picks: Slowly Fall, Who I Strolled With - u/ivanraptor730
-
42. Sandglass
Korean Drama - 1995, 24 episodes
Sandglass - An old drama that was very important, the streets were empty when it was on TV, and the drama changed the politics and people's lives in South Korea. It is a bit slow, a bit too much talk about corruption, but you will get sucked into the story of the three leads. The main song is the Russian Cranes by Joseph Kobzon. Various classical pieces from Europe, but also music made for the drama. It is all so melancholy and beautiful. Music from Sandglass is often used in more modern dramas at particular moments. - u/the-other-otter
-
43. My Country: The New Age
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
My Country: The New Age - This drama didn't have a particularly large number of OST tracks, but it made excellent use of each one they had. Two songs in particular stood out: Remember (U-mb5, SEAGATE DJ, Seoho) and Because It's You (Jung Seung-hwan). This drama was a period piece and had a lot of action scenes. There were many good instrumental tracks used for the scenes, but each episode usually had one significant battle, and Remember was usually always played during the height of the action. The song combined with the amazing action scenes always gave me the chills. Because It's You was played during emotional scenes, and it brought out the sadness in whichever scene it was used in. - u/eal8
-
44. She Was Pretty
Korean Drama - 2015, 16 episodes
She was Pretty - for me this has one of the good OSTs specifically I like Songs by Choi Siwon (this one makes my heart flutter because of the 2nd lead syndrome), Soyou (You dont know me), and Kim Min Seung (Thumping... my feel good song). PSJ also sang in there too. - u/Attymars
-
45. Twenty-Five Twenty-One
Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes
Twenty Five Twenty One - The storyline, characters and acting is perfect. And so is the soundtrack. I normally like only one or two OSTs of every drama but this was the first one where i loved each and every OST. From the magical Your Existence by Wonstein to the emotional 25,21 by Jaurim, the entire OST album was literal perfection. It fit the series so well and made it even better imo. I just love the album and it represents the youthful, emotional and magical aspect of Twenty Five Twenty One so well. - u/Think-Sand-4865
Twenty-Five Twenty-One - "Starlight", "Very Slowly", "Stardust", "Go!" and many others were perfect OSTs. There is a motivating song, then there's a feel good song, there's a typical band song, and the album gives you everything. Along with the drama being a perfect coming of age youth drama and the album was just perfect for the vibe of the drama. - u/Fatooz
Twenty-Five Twenty-One - this kdrama absolutely broke me, and the score helped with that. i’ve laughed and cried so hard during this drama, and i believe it’s a really realistic and harsh portrayal of the real world. the soundtrack makes you feel insanely nostalgic whilst you seem like you’re having fun. i used to get excited hearing parts of the soundtrack, but i cry when i do now - u/intelligentMoodie

46. Military Prosecutor Doberman
Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes
Military Prosecutor Doberman - The show had two badass main characters. The soundtrack was also nothing less of badass. Especially the song that played when the Red Haired lady shows up? Top tier. It fits so well and made the show even more fun to watch. The Opening theme is also so so hype which reminded me of another show with top tier OSTs: Happiness. - u/Think-Sand-4865
-
47. Happiness
Korean Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
Happiness - From the opening theme to the individual songs its just so good. From hype to emotional angsty and badass song, the producers did an amazing job at choosing the songs for the show. I normally do not watch Intros but i did not skip the Happiness intro even once. - u/Think-Sand-4865
-
48. Our Beloved Summer
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
Our Beloved Summer - Another favorite healing show of mine. When I think of OBS i think of warmth, youth and love. Thats exactly the feel the OSTs give me. Youth: Our Beloved Summer, Warm: Chritmas Tree. Another amazing OST would be Drawer. Just so good. Literally perfect for the show. - u/Think-Sand-4865
Our Beloved Summer's OST is just a masterpiece. I get goosebumps when I listen to it on Spotify. Especially V's Christmas Tree. - u/salmonqueenQ
-
49. Vincenzo
Korean Drama - 2021, 20 episodes
Vincenzo - This drama has an amazing instrumental soundtrack which is used to embellish many of its scenes. The music is essential to the show's style and plays a key role in balancing comedy with darker underlying themes. As a fan of classical music, I love the way different variations on well-known classical works are sprinkled throughout the show. On top of that, the OST contains three of my favourite individual tracks: Adrenaline, Is This Love, I'm Always By Your Side. It also helps that Vincenzo is visually stunning, well written and features top-notch acting. - u/Piazolla13
-
50. Live
Korean Drama - 2018, 18 episodes
Live - police procedural drama. The English songs used in drama are just awesome and very underappreciated. The OST too is very good and complimented well with the theme, but most of the time it's the "other" music that steals the show. - u/NavdeepNSG

51. Bloody Heart
Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes
Bloody Heart - Best BGM in the recent times. The instrumental music playing in the background is just pure bliss. It's like a symphony being played. - u/navdeepNSG

52. My Strange Hero
Korean Drama - 2018, 32 episodes
My Strange Hero - It's a title that's not likely to come up when people recommend dramas with great OSTs, but this show has had such an everlasting impact on me, that I can't help but recommend it. The soundtrack, which mostly comprises of romantic songs, does a phenomenal job in representing the bumpy ride that the leads go through in this show, sometimes sad, sometimes happy and uplifting, and sometimes just plain cute. I still can't listen to songs like Snowflake Love and Blue Sky without getting goosebumps or butterflies. - u/TotoroTheGreat

53. Do You Like Brahms?
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Do You Like Brahms? - Since the drama revolves around music mainly, the album is very melodious. Every song is filled with feels and the lyrics are so beautiful. It's that drama which is perfect to watch during a rainy day and the album is also perfect for that season. The vocals also are so beautiful. My favorite ones include "Close to Me" and "happy". - u/Fatooz

54. Mr. Sunshine
Korean Drama - 2018, 24 episodes
Mr. Sunshine - I still get the goosebumps when I listen to "The Day", wow the vocals and lyrics and music, everything was just perfect. Another one of Kim Eun-Sook's drama that had a great album. The album was consistent with the tone of the drama and again they would give you the feels along with the scenes they played for. A few OSTs also included some traditional musical instruments which was quite interesting to listen to. Some of my favorites include - "And I" and "See You Again". - u/Fatooz

55. Run On
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Run On - Be it "Run to You" or "My Light" or "Where Are You" or "Sorry" or "Ride or Die", the album is so varied and as calming and soothing as the drama intended to be. For sure along with the drama the album will also make it to your heart. Some of the OSTs were played at the perfect moment and they'd just add so much more emotions to a particular scene. - u/Fatooz

56. The Red Sleeve
Korean Drama - 2021, 17 episodes
The Red Sleeve - After a really long time the OSTs of a historical drama made it to my playlist. The music was just beautiful, even the background music like "San, Smile", "Deok Im, Bubbly", and so on were also so soothing to listen to. "I Wish", "I'll Leave You", "Always be Your Star", "My Wonderous Miracle", and pretty much all other OSTs are my favorite. The Red Sleeve is a melodrama for the most part and the initial episodes of the drama have a slight light tone compared to the rest of the drama and the editors ensured that the lighter OSTs would be used in the lighter episodes. There are some really heavy scenes to watch in the drama and the right use of the OST will give you more feels and emotions along with the brilliant writing and acting of the actors. - u/Fatooz

57. The Sound of Magic
Korean Drama - 2022, 6 episodes
The Sound of Magic - This one's a musical drama so eventually the music was great. Ji Chang-Wook, Hwang In-Yeop and Choi Sung-Eun had such amazing vocals. While you watch the drama and the songs play, you'd really be immersed in those scenes and you'll realize why this drama makes to be a perfect musical drama. Netflix really did a great job in bringing this drama to life and the music was just perfect. - u/Fatooz

58. Love All Play
Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes
Love All Play - The drama had a great soundtrack ranging from slow to fast songs. "When the door opens" is my go to song everytime I feel down or demotivated. The other slow songs also fit in so well with the tone of the drama. The vocals and music suit the scenes the songs are played in. "Flyin" is also such a peppy and cute song, representing our Park Twins who made the drama so comforting to watch. - u/Fatooz

59. Alchemy of Souls
Korean Drama - 2022, 20 episodes
Alchemy of Souls - Naksu is a dangerous assassin on the run and while performing "alchemy of souls" her soul ends up entering in the body of Mu Deok-Yi who is a servant of the Jang family. As she's serving Jang Uk, he knows that Mu Deok-Yi is actually Naksu and ends up making her his master. The drama has such amazing soundtrack with each and every OST being in sync with the drama's tone and the characters' story arc. Even the background music is perfectly in tone with the scenes. The music kinda plays an important role in the drama as it delivers every scene more beautifully. It's probably one of my favorite albums now. - u/Fatooz

60. True Beauty
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
True Beauty - Lim Ju-Gyeong is a high-school student with zero self confidence as people call her and bully her for being "ugly". She transfers to a new school and ends up building a new image of hers through the art of makeup. However there she meets Lee Su-Ho who has seen her bare face. It's a journey of her finding her "true beauty" with the help of all the people she meets in this new journey. It's one of my favorite high-school romcoms and the soundtrack is so addictive. I just love how the album ranges from up beat songs like "I'm in the Mood For Dancing" to slow and soothing songs like "I'm Missing You" to very chill and relax songs like "Love So Fine". - u/Fatooz
