Why: jdramas are often great with running gags/delayed punchlines, and this has some great examples. Also a great pairing of opposites.

Why: One of my favorite anti-heroes. This is a comedy of manners - the thrill comes from how the ML flaunts the expected behavior of his role. Amazing support cast

Why: Moving revenge story, intense emotions, good at portraying all sides of story

Why: Great chemistry, moving music score that "builds" climax of each episode, and one of the best written tdramas I've seen

Chinese Drama - 2018, 40 episodes
Why: Given the restrictions, the leads portrayed a great deal of emotion via glances alone that contributed to fantastic chemistry. Engaging storyline, fantastic supporting cast

Japanese Drama - 2006, 10 episodes
Why: My first comedy jdrama, and another great example of good use of running gags and delayed punchlines in jdramas

11. Goblin
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Why: Very popular kdrama for a reason! Friendship between the two male leads is very endearing, and the romance is sweet. The supernatural elements are fascinating and well-done.

Korean Drama - 2012, 22 episodes
Why: another of my early kdramas, with surprising funny scenes, a hilarious fight scene, and engaging story.

Why: Great chemistry, moving romance, and highly memorable story overall.

Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Why: Those kisses... WOW! Made me an instant fan of the ML. Off the charts chemistry.

Why: I loved how it treated the world of "solo" people, without criticizing the choice to eat/drink alone. The importance placed on quality meals made me pay more attention to mine!

Why: Super fun romantic movie revolving a risque subject. The chemistry was very believable, with lots of comedy.
