2023 Completed List
Dramas I watched in 2023: could vary from dramas, web-dramas, specials, and movies. These dramas will not only be dramas aired in 2023, but also could be dramas from different years that I've watched in 2023 ^_^ This list will also include everything I watch, whether I already completed it or not, I'll still add it to this list so I can have everything I've watched in 2023 in one place. I'm a little late to the 2023 drama watching, but finally I became motivated to watch dramas again. I feel as if I watched so many dramas last year that it was hard to get back into them. But I'm here, and excited for this new journey of drama watching!
* I want to try something new this year and add additional bullet points of things I might have loved as well as quotes.
Overall Ratings:
Favorite Korean Drama: Nevertheless, Our Blues, True Beauty, Flower of Evil, Extracurricular, Castaway Diva

Favorite Thailand/China Drama: Reset, Love Between Fairy and Devil, Happy Birthday.
Favorite Movie: As Long As We Both Shall Live, Better Days, Semantic Error, The Call
i wish I watched more this year, didn’t surpass last years, but it still feels good to complete all these dramas and movies in a year. Goodbye, 2023!

1. Crash Landing on You
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
To start 2023 off, I went with a favourite rewatch. Honestly, this has probably become my absolute favourite drama that I have to watch every year, no matter what. It's the type of drama I would forever put as a masterpiece. I'm not that bad at ratings, I'll give a 10 on some that aren't as good as this one, just based on circumstances, but I honestly think this needs an even bigger rating than 10... Like 20. It's just so amazing in every way and I feel like I'll never watch another masterpiece in the same way as this one.

2. My Roommate Is a Gumiho
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
i was really disappointed with this drama as i heard so many people loved this. i felt like the main actors didn't have any chemistry, and i honestly wasn't a fan of the male actor overall. this is my third drama with him as part of the cast, and i didn't like him in any of them, so i'm thinking it's him. i personally feel as if the actor is so monotone and it's hard to feel anything from his acting. despite the actors, i still couldn't connect to the story. from episode one all i felt was bored and it was really difficult to continue watching this. i did love the part where she "lost" her memories, and really wished that was prolonged for more time, but it didn't last long, unfortunately. another aspect of the drama i liked was when the male actor would say these heartbreaking dialogue that he was thinking about, and i don't know, i really loved it. i know it's hard to explain, but i can't think of another way to word it.
so unfortunately, i didn't rate it high because so many factors of this drama was in the negatives, so i ended up giving this a 2.

3. Hyde, Jekyll, Me
Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes
i've never heard of this series before and i was really surprised it existed with my favorite actor. the plot seemed pretty interesting, almost like kill me heal me in a way. it was a little hard to get into, but after a few episodes i seemed to like it. unfortunately, it didn't last long. i don't know what it was really... i love the main actor, he was amazing as always, but it was so hard to watch. i also felt as if the two main didn't have chemistry, because i could never get excited for any scenes between them. i also became incredibly bored with the storyline. it just felt so pointless and the fact that it was 20 episodes made it even more insufferable. i gave it a 1.5 just because i love the main actor and the fact that i did initially enjoy the first bunch of episodes.

4. That Winter, the Wind Blows
Korean Drama - 2013, 16 episodes
i've been meaning to watch this for years. i looked at my past history, and realized i put it on my ptw 7 years ago, so it was about time i watched this. i think it's because it looked so depressing, that i didn't feel motivated to watch it. anyways... i finally did complete it. it was completely different than what i thought i'd be watching - not in a bad way, but just unexpected. i really did love it. the beginning was so good, and the two main had amazing chemistry. they are both such brilliant actors, and i love them in previous works, so it shouldn't be surprising. halfway through it did get a little draggy and it seemed like nothing was progressing, but around the time where things started to get revealed, it became good again. the one thing i really loved about this drama was that even the people who you thought were evil had so much good in them and you couldn't help but feel for them. i would definitely recommend this.
♥ wind chimes

♥ ml's longing looks
"It was fun to watch. The love you had. I wanted to know if love really existed in this world. Love does exist..."

5. Page Turner
Korean Special - 2016, 3 episodes
I wasn't expecting much from this drama special, but wow, it was simply amazing. i know all the main actors and it was so nice to see them act together, they're all so amazing at acting. i loved how this special had so many different tones. sometimes i'll be crying, and then laughing, other times i'll be feeling like this is a slice of life, and then you'll be crying or laughing again. it was such a whirlwind of emotions, and i loved every second of it. i would 100% recommend this to anyone.

6. Nevertheless,
Korean Drama - 2021, 10 episodes
honestly, i am really surprised that i've never heard of this before. from the very beginning, i fell in love with this drama. the amazing acting, the characters, the music, the pacing, the tone... it was just so beautiful that it created the most perfect drama. i know there are some people that didn't like the toxicity but it just felt really realistic to me, and i loved it for that. 100% recommended.
♥ music
♥ art school - it reminded me of honey x clover
♥ all the multi-couple relationships, i loved them all
♥ butterflies
♥ connection between the main leads, it seemed as they were a magnet unable to stop finding each other
♥ main fl's acting... it was amazing how she was this open and bubbly person around everyone but the ml and it seemed to be so spot on, i loved it
"I saw someone so beautiful here that I fell in love at first sight. It was snowing that day. It was an opening exhibition for an artist. It was boring, so I was about to leave. But then... I saw a girl standing in front of a piece for a long time. Just like you back there. And one day, I ran into her again. I was startled. If I believed in fate, I would have felt that this was it."

7. Sayonara Itsuka
Japanese Movie - 2010
i really did not enjoy this. i know what the plot was but i didn't think it'd be so... raw? i'm not sure how to explain it. but i felt like the plot was really boring and i didn't like any of the characters, so i couldn't enjoy this at all. i wouldn''t recommend it.
-
8. Reincarnation Love
Korean Special - 2022, 1 episode
this was an advertisement for a challenge i did, and my two favourite leads from youth of may reunited for this. it felt oddly similar to youth of may to be honest, maybe almost an advertisement to boost ratings for that drama? anyways, the advertisement was pretty cute, it had a time loop, and i love those types of plots. if this was longer it would've been amazing, so it's sad it is just an advertisement. it was a good and quick watch though! i'd recommend it.
-
9. Our Blues
Korean Drama - 2022, 20 episodes
what an amazing drama. i honestly wasn't sure if i'd like it, based on my experience from my liberation notes which i felt had a similar vibe to this drama. but this was really different. i loved it so much. everyone acted their roles so realistically, i've definitely developed quite a few new favourite actors. the stories were so amazing and pure. they were heartbreaking and it just felt so real. the music and the pacing was amazing and i honestly have nothing but praises for this drama. 100% recommended!
♥ eun hee x han soo
♥ honestly, eun hee stole this drama for me. she was the mvp.
♥ music
♥ honesty and relatability of depression
♥ 100 moons
♥ how all the villagers treated eun ki. just passing her on to each person, and each one would be so loving and heartwarming. i thought it was amazing how she could be in such a trusted village that she could go explore or be with complete strangers and she was safe. i don't know how to explain it, but it felt peaceful
♥ young hee x young ok. "Yeong-hui told me that she drew me whenever she missed me or got lonely, which is how she became so good at it. I didn't know what to say to that. I couldn't imagine how lonely she must've been and how much she must've missed me for a person like her to become this great of an artist. I was too scared to find out."
♥ and also young hee x jung joon. they had the sweetest relationship, i loved it.
♥ bang ho shik x jung in kwon's bromance
♥ how homey the island was. it sometimes felt like i was watching a ghibli film, not from the plot or anything, but just the aura of the island, an the characters, and how everyone was so warm and like a family in some way or another
♥ "Why? Am I not worth having feelings for? Is that it?"
-
10. Norwegian Wood
Japanese Movie - 2010
this film was really different... and really weird. i feel like i would've loved this if it wasn't an independent film. it had a lot of sexual content, and weird relationships. the fl was really weird and she had strange behaviors that were worrisome. i wouldn't recommend this.
-
11. The Interviewees
Korean Movie - 2020
i started watching this for a challenge and i found it really boring. i mean it's a film with that type of documentary vibe, so it makes sense. i just had a hard time to focus unfortunately.
-
12. Queen for Seven Days
Korean Drama - 2017, 20 episodes
i've never heard of this drama before so i was really intrigued, so i decided to give it a watch. and honestly, it was incredible. heartbreakingly sad, but so beautiful. my only thing was that when the prince came back to the palace it started to get really boring and tiresome. i just felt so bad for the fl so much, all that deception was heartbreaking and hard to watch. despite that, i'd still recommend it.
♥ beautiful soundtrack
♥ her whistle
♥ second ml x fl - the thing about this is how i never grow attach to the second ml, this might be only the second time. i blame it on lee dong gun's acting, because he's simply amazing in whatever drama he acts in. but honestly, i feel like he has chemistry with both the younger and older version of chae kyung.
♥ also the gentleness of yi yung when he is around chae kyung melted my heart each time. that hesitant hand when he ponders over whether to touch her or not
♥ yi yeok's hilarious whistle to copy her
♥ honestly, i am impressed with park min young's acting in this drama. usually i find her overrated and i try to avoid dramas starring her, which is hard, as she is in a lot... but in this drama, from the first scene, i've grown attached to her character and loved her acting in this role. i think i prefer her acting in serious roles rather than the usual comedical roles she is in. i'm not saying this wasn't comedical, because it had it's moments, but i feel it had more of a tragic storyline and tone throughout the drama than anything else
♥ "Did you know? That darned love, which can be sparked up by a shared glance and a slight touch, was also in here." - the delivery in this scene was so heartwrenching. the way he banged his chest, and his laughing through his tears...
♥ "Why?! Why do you speak only of him? You stand in front of me. You are within arm's reach. Yu look into my eyes. Why do you... speak only of Yeok?"

13. Mr. Sunshine
Korean Drama - 2018, 24 episodes
i was really looking forward to this drama. it seemed incredibly popular and i really wanted to like it. i love the main actors from previous works and they were excellent in this as well. but unfortunately, i did not like this. i feel like maybe there was too many political issues, the gun shootin, and the mixed race was complicated as well. it was just hard to focus and i couldn't really get into it. i was just waiting for it to end to be honest, and that really saddens me since this was apparently one of the "best dramas". maybe it was just overrated, or you have to enjoy more of the political issues. i'm more of a romance junkie, so when they did focus on that, i did enjoy it, but i feel like there wasn't much. it's hard to say whether i'd recommend this as you'd have to really like this type of drama to enjoy it, otherwise you might be like me and just feel incredibly bored.

14. Are You Human Too?
Korean Drama - 2018, 36 episodes
i've been meaning to watch this for a long time and i'm glad i finally did. it was so amazing. it's been a while since i watched a good series, so i really needed this. i loved it so much. it was so cute and funny. and the side characters were hilarious and perfect too. and i loved how unpredictable this drama was. like there were so many surprising plot points that i just gasped, and i loved that! the only thing i didn't enjoy was when human nam shin became evil and started using robot nam shin for awful things, it really was hard to watch. but other than that i really loved this series. i definitely would recommend this!
♥ how you can see the differences between the ai and the human version, it's such amazing acting
♥ little liar detector
♥ the main lead have amazing chemistry <3. so adorable
♥ robot nam shin is like a cute little puppy, so dopey, i love him
♥ how because she treats him like human, he is completely different with her
♥ kim won hae. he's one of my favourite actors. he was hilarious as the fl's father, but also during the painful moments, it was heart-wrenching. love him forever
♥ also i know he's technically "the evil father" but i loved that park young gyu was in this as well. somehow i really love this actor, maybe because of the actor it's hard for me to see him being so evil, i don't know, but i love him!
-
15. True Beauty
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
i've never watched anything like this before. it was so amazing. from start to finish i couldn't look away. it was hilarious and then heartwrenching, and then awkward and then the loop happened again. i just loved it so much, and it has easily become one of my favourite dramas ever <3. i understand what the fuss was now, it's such a masterpiece. 10/10!
♥ how it took work for her to learn how to do makeup
♥ vampire
♥ comic store
♥ the "rawr"!
♥ comedy. it's hilarious, and awkward and feels so fresh.
♥ when she thinks he grabs her but it was only her getting stuck on the door
♥ underwear dance
♥ when she was his slave, and she didn't realize he wanted her to stick around instead of just doing things for him
♥ half make up look!
♥ their love for horror <3
♥ how they use the songs from goblin and crash landing on you for comedical romance
♥ seo jun's friends. they are so loyal and so hilarious. the double kiss, the game where they're all clinging together like monkeys... it was so hilarious
♥ seo jun x soo ho's bromance
♥ fl's siblings were the sweetest. loved their relationships and they just cracked me up. loved the dad too, he was so cute. and the mom, when she found out everything, my heart broke for her. such a perfect family <3.

16. Flower of Evil
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
what an incredible drama. i watched this because of lee joon gi. he was amazing in scarlet heart and he stole my heart, ironically. he is such an amazing actor, and this solidfied my love for him. now about the drama. i feel like i've never watched something like this. it felt so perfect. the acting, the actors, the plot, music, the pace, the twists and turns, the length of the drama... they created a masterpiece. 100% rewatch value.
♥ the twists and turns
♥ bromance
♥ secret meetings with his sister and bestie
♥ how much he denies he is in love with her but he is affected by her in every way
♥ how the ml acts with his daughter. the egg tarts <3
♥ how smart the fl is
♥ the way the fl is able to make the ml smile. pure love.
♥ music
♥ lee joon gi's acting was amazing. i watched this for him and i wasn't disappointed, he is one of the best actors i've seen.
♥ chemistry between the main leads and just honestly the whole cast. they all had amazing chemistry together, the casting was perfect.

17. Flower of Evil Special
Korean Special - 2020, 1 episode
i don't really have anything special to say about this. it was just a recap basically, but they kind of answered questions and showed the viewers where things began to change and develop. it was interesting, but i only rated it a 10 because i just love this series no matter what, whether it's a recap or not. i love all the relationships. i also love how they took time to recap the bromance too <3.
-
18. My ID Is Gangnam Beauty
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
i was really excited to watch this, especially with all the fuss. i guess it was just overrated in my case. i feel like this drama was really lacking in terms of feelings. it just felt off, kinda bland. i don't know how to describe it, because i really liked the plot, but it's like the delivery felt all wrong, and i couldn't get attached. i did love that cha eun woo was in this though. and i was also happy that park yoo na was in this as well, and it was so refreshing to see her in this role compared to her role in true beauty. i loved her in that but - okay, i won't get into it, this review isn't about true beauty after all. but if you compare this drama to true beauty, it doesn't come close. i'm really not sure what all the fuss was about quite honestly. it was an okay watch, but i could've done without watching this drama.
* i thought about it and i think what this drama reminds me of is 'come and hug me.' obviously not compared to the plot or anything, it was more about the delivery. that was also a drama i loved the plot and normally i'd have loved it, but somehow i didn't even though it seemed like everything i enjoyed was apart of it. i felt like this drama really resembled my feelings for that drama as well.
♥ ost
♥ ml. loved him in true beauty, and love him in this. honestly, he's the only thing I'm watching for in this drama

19. Itaewon Class
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
i wasn't sure about this drama. i had high expectations for it just because everyone is always recommending it, yet i felt like i'd be disappointed. honestly, the first few episodes were so amazing. i couldn't tear my eyes away. everything about it was amazing and i was just so amazed at the feelings they showed and in what they did. i loved all the characters, and the ml, i fell for his character - his honesty and how it just felt so refreshing. and the fl was so badass i was excited, and then suddenly i wasn't. i loved her for her personality but i feel like she crossed the line too many times. with strangers or enemies i get it, but treating close friends in that way kinda drove me nuts, and then the next moment she'll do something and i'll be able to forgive her, but i also hated that part too. i didn't wanna forgive her for being such a brat, yet i did love her character. as you can see, it was very confusing, possibly because i've never watched a fl like her before. i also felt like i wasn't really rooting for a ship in this drama. idk if the fl/ml had chemistry or not but something felt just off. maybe it was because of the fl's characterization though. and i kinda was rooting the second fl but some things definitely fell flat. i think it was the characterization for her as well. but chemistry speaking, they might've had the best connection in my opinion. despite that, i'd still recommend this.
♥ ml's personality. how honest and determined he was. that he made a 15 year plan and followed through it, slowly, but surely
♥ their pub when it was at the beginning with all six of them.
♥ tone of the drama
♥ itaewon
♥ the pub in general. it looked so cozy, and just so inviting. something from an anime almost, i just loved it
♥ how the ml would say or do things you wouldn't normally expect. any other drama, the ml would be doing something else, giving in, but not this ml

20. Adult Trainee
Korean Drama - 2021, 7 episodes
i saw a mv of this drama so it really made me want to watch this. in the drama there are 3 multi-main couples, and honestly the only couple worth mentioning was the second pair with yura and nam ho. they had amazing chemistry, hilarious scenes, loved the bickering, and just the perfect story. the rest were really questionable. i feel like they should've just made this drama have the 2nd story as a whole, i mean you'd think they'd know that given their story was 3 episodes long compared to the 2 episodes of the other stories. i can't say the other stories weren't interesting because they were, but they were also really strange and i definitely didn't swoon to those stories. i would recommend this, but maybe just recommend episodes 3-5, as those were the best.
♥ how he made a manga of them
♥ bromance with the club members. it was questionable at first but then i loved how they stuck up for him and helped clear his name
♥ the bickering, and yelling at each other. i loved how they'd just turn around and literally yell "WHAT" or "HEY", it killed me each time.
♥ chemistry. second couple had so much it was overflowing
♥ stairs. so many fights and then cute moments on there
♥ friend speech

21. I Have Not Done My Best Yet
Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
i watched this because i saw a mv of the side characters and it made me really want to watch it. i wasn't sure because it isn't the type of drama i'd normally like, and unfortunately it turned out to true this time as well. this watch was really difficult. i felt incredibly bored throughout 90% of the drama, and it felt like a waste of time. it just wasn't my type of drama.
-
22. Love to Hate You
Korean Drama - 2023, 10 episodes
i didn't have high hopes for this but it seemed pretty popular when it was airing so i thought i'd give it a try. it was an okay drama for me. it was a little boring and hard to get into and i thought their whole relationship was going to be something else, so maybe i was a little disappointed as well. it piqued my interest again when they started to fall for each other. they did have good chemistry, so it was pretty cute to watch them together. i guess i'd recommend this if someone wanted a quick and easy watch, but it wouldn't be my top choice.
-
23. Kamisama Mou Sukoshi Dake
Japanese Drama - 1998, 12 episodes
this was a beautiful and heartbreaking series. it's an older one but it was a masterpiece and honestly i would forever recommend this drama. the chemistry, the story, the music, everything was perfect. i loved all the characters, well, maybe except for the second fl. i mean she wasn't bad considering other dramas. but even with her meddling, this drama was still so amazing. definitely is in my top favourite japanese dramas <3.
♥ old school listening stations in music stores
♥ ost. love the main theme, reminds me of a music box
♥ the whole production. i love the direction, the ost, the acting, i just felt like everything was such a masterpiece in how it was filmed and put together
♥ rain scene. i loved the look he gave her and her determination
♥ keigo's chain smoking. i'm not big on smoking in real life, but i don't know, i just fell in love with him every time i saw him smoking. is that weird?
♥ how he fished her phone number out of the garbage
♥ big speech in the concert hall
♥ kiss in the water
♥ chemistry between masaki and keigo <3.
♥ opening song, i love the song and just watching that bit
-
24. Bread, Love and Dreams
Korean Drama - 2010, 30 episodes
i've wanted to watch this drama for years, so i'm glad i finally did. it was not what i expected.i thought it'd center around baking a lot more, i mean, it did but there was so much melodrama that i didn't realize would be a part of this series. it was pretty good despite all the drama, there were so many characters i loved - like everyone from the bakery shop, the father, the grandma, the mom, tak gu. i really didn't care for the romance though, i couldn't feel a connection between any of the couples. the part i probably loved the most of this drama was the bread making. i would rewatch this, but i'd probably recommend if someone was interested in a plot like this.
♥ all four of them together. the grandma, dad, mom, and kim tak gu. </3
♥ how kim tak gu explains his name in great detail, even 12 years later, it's hilarious
♥ it was interesting to see how they used telegrams in this drama, i don't know if i've seen that in a kdrama before
♥ fancy phone they have in the big mansion, it's beautiful
♥ bakery they work in, it's so beautiful and just feels very cozy
♥ how the father baked in his workshop and that's how they began to bond together
♥ relationship with kim tak gu and the man with the windmill tattoo. some reason it feels weird to call him anything else. i know they have a complicated history but i think he's overall a great guy.
-
25. Go Back Couple
Korean Drama - 2017, 12 episodes
i watched a mv of this drama a year ago and it made me want to watch it. finally i got to it and i was so glad i did. this was such a great drama. it was hilarious, heart wrenching, and full of sa-woons. the main leads had such amazing chemistry, and i loved the ml's longing looks of love and pain towards the fl. it reminded me of the drama familiar wife, which i loved, so i guess it makes sense i'd love this. i guess i'm a sucker for old lovers rekindling their love and finding out why they love each other so much. ahh, i seriously loved this drama <3.
♥ little scenes showing us how a memory originally happened
♥ mom actress, so glad she was in this!
♥ main leads have such good chemistry. i love their bickering and their longing looks
♥ how they had some parodies in this like descendants of the sun. the whole part where the guy gets off the helicopter and goes by her to retrieve her hanker chief killed me. it was great
-
26. About Time
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
i've wanted to watch this for years because loved the plot. im not a big fan of the male actor but i do love the female actress so i thought i'd give it a shot. i honestly wasn't thrown off by the male actor or anything, but i just found myself so incredibly bored during this watch. i loved when the "time plot" came up but besides that, any other plot point that came up really bored me. i loved the twist of her stealing his time, and then how she twisted it even further by saying it was the opposite way - it was selfless, because if she had told him, he'd feel so hurt. i just loved it. anyways, all in all, it was an okay watch, but you probably wouldn't be missing much by not watching it.
♥ idea of seeing a person's time of death on them. it kind of reminds me of death note.
♥ didn't realize lee sung kyung had such a beautiful singing voice. it seriously was one of my favourite things about this drama. also that scene of her audition in episode 1 was so beautiful, i just fell in love with that scene
♥ twist about the other stealing time
-
27. Amanza
Korean Drama - 2020, 10 episodes
i really didn't like this series. i did like the idea of it, but the whole thing with his imagination being a cartoon was so weird that i couldn't get into it. and then i got bored and just wanted it to end. not my type of drama, i wouldn't recommend this.
-
28. Forest
Korean Drama - 2020, 32 episodes
i was lured in by the amnesia plot but i really didn't like this. i was really bored 90% of the time and i just couldn't get into it. there were some scenes i did like, but mostly just the ones with the main leads together. i wouldn't recommend this, felt like i wasted my time.
♥ nature aspect
♥ where he meets her father and then with them eating together. the father's whole reaction to their relationship, to be honest
♥ that steamy stethoscope kiss, i mean... that might've been the highlight of the whole drama
-
29. When the Camellia Blooms
Korean Drama - 2019, 40 episodes
this was a beautiful drama. i loved the tone, atmosphere, all the characters. i wasn't a big fan of the fl's personality. it was really shy and i felt frustrated every time she cried or just didn't stick up for herself. most of the drama i felt disappointed but as i watched more epis, the more confident she got and that last episode was amazing <3. Definitely a 10/10!
♥ small town atmosphere
♥ oh dong baek's wardrobe, it was so cute
♥ hwang yong shik's character in this, he is so dorky and adorable. it's so crazy to me that kang ha neul is this type of character and also the prince in scarlet heart. he's such a great actor
♥ how everyone signed her wall, so i was a little sad when he painted over it
♥ excited that kim ji suk was in this. i love him in almost every role he acts in, i just find all his facial expressions so hilarious!
♥ snippets at the end of the episode about the killer, they made me excited for the episode to end so we can find out what else is being revealed.
♥ where she marches in the police station with that book n tries to be strong and assertive. it felt so real, esp someone with anxiety, because you can tell how nervous she was with her shaky voice, and honestly, it just hit home.
♥ daisy flower posts
♥ the heart to heart talks between the mother and her son. omg, i say heart to heart, but it was more screaming matches, and i loved it when they started to be more honest with each other <3.
♥ "What's the big deal about murdering someone? Stop making such a big deal." when he said that line, i gasped. it was so true in the sense of what serial killers think, but so twisted. it felt like such a powerful line to show us what kind of mindset he has.
-
30. Reset
Chinese Drama - 2022, 15 episodes
this was an incredible drama. i was hooked as soon as i watched the trailer. the drama was even better and just so amazing. it was full of twists and turns and endless time loops, and i just lvoed it. the main leads had amazing chemistry and they were such good actors. i don't really watch chinese dramas anymore but if i did, i'd definitely be stalking their previous dramas, i just loved them so much. and the detective <3 he was so amazing. i loved him to pieces. his character was so smart and just such a good person. it's hard to explain what i loved from this drama because it was just a masterpiece, and i can go on and on about what i loved. a complete 10 and above. <3.
♥ reminds me of speed
♥ chemistry with the two main leads

31. One Ordinary Day
Korean Drama - 2021, 8 episodes
i meant to watch this last year but i think that was when i was losing interests in dramas because stranger things came out and that was basically my summer. i finally watched it and got to say i was really disappointed. this wasn't what i had envisioned for this drama, and honestly, i didn't like anything about it. i just felt this strong distaste for the entire drama, i can't really explain it.
-
32. Love Alarm
Korean Drama - 2019, 8 episodes
i thought i'd like this, but it was a little odd. i felt really turned off by the ml, he seemed kind of creepy and selfish, so it was hard to connect with hm. and i couldn't really root the fl on with anyone. i don't know, i felt like this was a big flop.
♥ magical shoujo girl transformation when she registers
♥ how assertive the fl is
-
33. Love Alarm Season 2
Korean Drama - 2021, 6 episodes
i definitely liked this more than the first season. i prefer the fl with hye-yeon which is surprising as he seemed like a second ml. i just felt like the ml sun-oh was really selfish and often enough had a creepy tone. in this season he was much better and seemed more like a person in love but he was definitely obsessive. this was an okay watch but i wouldn't recommend it. i just watched it because it was the second season and i didn't want to think about this series again, so i got it over and done with. i seriously did love hye-yeon so much better, and it is weird because i didn't really care for him season 1. but in season 2, he really warmed up to me and i felt like their love was so real in comparison.
♥ the curtain scene. i love curtain scenes, but then BANG, she made it 100x better by being nervous and crashing ^_^
♥ when he finally found out about the shield
♥ the moment when her love alarm rang for hye-yeon
♥ the ending where we see all the times he rang her love alarm.

34. Padam Padam
Korean Drama - 2011, 20 episodes
i finally decided to watch this. for years people would be constantly recommending this drama so i was always curious. i feel like i expected a beautiful romance and not all this supernatural elements. honestly though, the supernatural element was the only thing that kept my interest. i loved the time loops, and it was interesting with the angel character. but it didn't save this drama for me. i felt incredibly bored throughout the whole thing, and i wanted to drop it at episode 3. i didn't enjoy the story, the only aspect i liked was the time loops, i couldn't connect to the characters - to be honest, i feel like it was the actors. i didn't like the acting or the way they portrayed their roles and it made me not like this even more. the ml i disliked the most, i didn't like this character and portrayal. the fl i'm not a big fan of to begin with, every drama i watch her in it usually flops for me, so when i discovered she was in this i had little hope. oh well, i guess i can at least finally cross this off my list.
♥ time loops.

39. Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day
Japanese Special - 2015, 1 episode
i was curious about this since i loved the anime. the live action didn't compare to the anime's tone and feelings i got. it was nice to see it adapted to the live action screen, and it wasn't a bad watch. it was really good, and i enjoyed watching it. it wasn't amazing but i'd still recommend it for people who are a fan of the anime. although i say that, the ending definitely lived up to the feelings of the anime. that destroyed me all over again.

What an amazing, suspenseful, and griping movie. I definitely didn’t expect what I got. I couldn’t look away from the screen, there were so many twists.
