Unforgettable performances (work in progress)
I know that a character is built on the writing as much as the acting. But the actor lends its face to the character and that is what we can point our finger at. So to illustrate my list I have to use actor's faces, though I acknowledge the hard work of the writers.

Mark Chao
Taiwanese
As Ye hua in Eternal love. Now I just finished the drama so it's a litte soon to say that I'll never forget him but I'll take the chance. Black is NOT his color though!
-
Shin Sung Rok
South Korean
As Kang Do Yeong in Liar Game. Oh my! Definitely the best/worst villain I've encountered in dramaland. Maybe even in tv altogether. Him working on his facial expressions in front of mirror is burnt into my brain forever.
-
Eric Mun
South Korean
As Kang Tae Joo in Que sera sera. It was the first (and to this day only) time I met a lead character so irredeemable in dramaland. He has no excuse for his behavior, he knows he's no good, has no desire to change.. And yet he still wants the girl.

Choi Ji Woo
South Korean
As Park bok Nyeo in Suspicious housekeeper. It was (kinda) my first k-drama!! And this robotic nanny sucked me right into dramaworld forever. I think I cried watching her smile for the first time.

Lee Bum Soo
South Korean
As Oh Yoo Bang in History of the Salaryman. The mere mention of his name makes me laugh so hard. HAHA

Lee Ha Nee
