this is why you shouldn't have any expectations

1. Beautiful Gong Shim
Korean Drama - 2016, 20 episodes
The first half was great in terms of story, pacing, characters, but fell short when it hit the second half. They focused more on Dan Tae's story even if the title is about Gong Shim. I felt bored out of mind when it came to scenes with not the three leads (We don't talk about a certain character here).
This should've been a story about a girl finding confidence and loving herself. Throw in a cute love triangle, and it would've been so good. But nooo, they just had to do me like this.

2. Eccentric! Chef Moon
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
It was soo entertaining for me in the beginning. All the weird antics going around the village, then she just had to get her memories back. And it went downhill from there.

3. Clean with Passion for Now
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
Even if it was cliche, it was good cliche, and the writers messed it up!
The story turned to literal garbage. Oh Sol went to live with Sun Gyeol to help, I guess lessen his mysophobia, but she didn't really do much in helping.. They of course fell in love, dated, but they broke up because of something his grandpa did?? Then, he got into an accident, like whatt. Of course, there was the time gap, and comes fresh as new, with his phobia, just gone. Does this even make sense? Oh right, they also met as children, but it wasn't even needed!
It became the boring cliche.
It's amazing how the drama got pushed back a lot, and I still waited for it.

5. Queen of the Ring
Korean Drama - 2017, 21 episodes
This drama is utter dog shiz. The writer failed in sending the message of 'it's the inside that matters' ugh
Main boy is also one of the worst mls. Love Seulgi and all, but her character was also crap too. And it hurt me everytime they called her ugly. My mind can't even comprehend such a word to describe her.
It's good this was short or I would've dropped it.

6. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
All over the place. The story, the characters, the whatever the hell this drama was.
The execution of the different genres the writer used didn't mix well with one another. It went from a cutesy scene to some thriller crap. I'm also annoyed how they didn't go in depth with bong soon's powers. They literally said it just happened. Like what boy.
As I didn't like bong soon, I didn't care about her and min hyuk. I do admit they have some cute scenes, but at the end of the day, I really didn't care about them. Also the dumbest scene was where she was stuck to a bomb or whatever that was. That was far from sad. If her powers didn't magically come back, min hyuk would've probably saved her (or maybe she be dead), but because uh 'girl power' she got her powers again and saved herself. BRUH, it's so stupidd
Also, how problematic it is, yet many seem to ignore that factor.

7. The King: Eternal Monarch
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
I had no expectations for this, but I didn't think it would be this messy. I did like the idea of the show, but the execution is just bad (writing and directing wise). The plot is barely there, like they barely show what the synopsis is. It says, "During one of his escapades, he sees himself propelled into a parallel world where he meets Jung Tae Eul, an inspector with whom he teams up with to defeat the criminals but also close the door between their two worlds." The first part does happen, but where did the other half go?
There's so much room for good development, but they throw this out of the window. The characters are so flat and given poor characterization that it's hard to sympathize with them especially when the suppose sad moments play out. This leads me to the weakest link in the show, the so called romance. I don't understand how and why they ended up together, I really don't. One moment Tae Eul is annoyed by him, and then suddenly she misses him when he's gone?? And she was introduced as a fighter with a headstrong personality, I guess, and as Yi Gon comes into the picture, he's the only thing she can think about. Yi Gon is so bland, girl why. I didn't really care for the prime minister and Shin Jae. The villain's motive was uninteresting considering his screentime was less than ad placements of chicken.
Woo Do Hwan was the scene stealer of this mess. He single handedly carried this show.
This is honestly a show to watch to make fun of. It didn't feel like a drama 'cause I couldn't take it seriously as each episode came out. This feels more as a fans service to LMH fans.

8. Love Alarm
Korean Drama - 2019, 8 episodes
KSH is forever my fave, but this show sucked.
Sunoh and Jojo was and is trash. No development whatsoever between the two. It just happened. Insta-love is arguably one of the worst romance tropes out there, and here it's no exception. Their dialogue mainly consisted of 'you're pretty' or some bullcrap, and looking at each other. The way they began is LITERAL SHI-
They saw each other, and then next thing you know, they be making out. Boom they IN LOVE. My eyeballs were rolling their eyeballs on how ludicrous they were. HOW ARE YOU IDIOTS IN LOVE?????? This is the type of relationship I know ain't gonna last. The relationship they had to be considered love?? Well, a lil crush sure, but love? HELL NO
Hyeyoung rather take it little by little, instead of forcing himself, He KNEW she had a boyfriend, so he didnt want to create drama, but HIS STUPID F*CKING FRIEND had to ignore the term 'bros before hoes' and persue her. Hyeyoung deserves happiness, so whatever and whoever makes him happy, he better be getting it.
But I'm a bigger idiot as I'm still going to be watching season 2 for KSH and hoping hyeyoung will get the girl. ¯\_( ͡❛ ₃ ͡❛)_/¯

9. Angel's Last Mission: Love
Korean Drama - 2019, 32 episodes
First few episodes were wow. I would've even called it my favourite. But, around the halfway mark, the story wasn't..
..it, you know. I felt that it focused on the love story too much considering how it didn't even make sense when it began. And they of course had to throw in the childhood friends trope.
What they should have done, is having her stay blind. Now that would have been more interesting.

10. Hotel del Luna
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Personally, I didn't connect with the story and both the leads. The story had the formulaic tone along with the main story in between. I don't mind them, but it felt weird here. I just can't describe my feelings lol
As for the leads, they felt more platonic then romantic. The two seemed like good business partners, rather than romantic interests. Plus, I couldn't shake the thought of Man Wol meeting Chan Sung as a kid. That was just weird.

11. Kill It
Korean Drama - 2019, 12 episodes
I was just flat out bored of my mind. I kept telling myself, 'ooh cool' but I knew I was lying to myself.
I even remember people gushing over the posters and trailers, but omigoshnoitwasnt

12. My ID Is Gangnam Beauty
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
The webtoon was enjoyable, but this.. :p
It's soo boring, I'm sorry. I'm not sure how and why I managed to last this long. soohyang carried this show on her back, but unfornately, her back be breaking. as for eunwoo, he needs more experience, he has potential that needs to be worked on.

13. Vagabond
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
The first two episodes were intriguing and well paced. I found myself excited for what was to come. But then they came, and it just went downhill. It became b o r i n g
