my stars
a list to keep track of all the actors I end up following drama through drama. (whether it's on purpose or not)
-
Song Joong Ki
South Korean
-
Shin Seung Ho
South Korean
i was looking up a drama and found that he's a lead in it and looked so familiar. i knew seungho acted in a-teen and I loved his character. i looked through his dramas and realized that he was also a lead in (moment) at eighteen. i must be completely blind to not have realized that I'd been following him around through dramas! his characters are always so diverse and he pulls them off so well.
-
Lee Jong Suk
South Korean
-
Deng Lun
Chinese
-
Nam Da Reum
South Korean
ok, no lie, i was high-key into this boy when i saw him at first in i don't even remember what drama. like wow, my age, talented, eye-candy, a perfect trio! turns out he's been the younger version of lee jong-suk quite a few times and that led me to follow him into other dramas like beautiful world. He ended up in radio romance, come and hug me, goblin, mirror of the witch, the king loves. and i think one his first roles as young ji hoo in boys over flowers. he's everywhere!
-
Kim Min Jae
South Korean
from dr. romantic (romantic dr. teacher kim) to the great seducer (tempted) the huge jumps in characters that made me barely recognize him. b a r e l y. but i caught on and alas found this actor that I really enjoy the vibes of. he can be extremely fluffy or break your heart and leave in 2 secs. the duality.
-
Jang Ki Yong
South Korean
come and hug me had me head over heels. the emotion, the story, the acting. i can not imagine better casting. i'm watching kill it and despite it not being a romance, it's intriguing. the characters jang ki yong plays seem to radiate with him well.
-
Park Bo Young
South Korean
small, adorable, mighty, and so likable! my sister can't get enough of SWDBS because of park bo young's main role power and of course her co-star park hyung shik. i like her acting but some of her dramas (imo oh my ghostess and abyss) don't seem to do her as much justice as SWDBS.
-
Yang Zi
Chinese
definitely following her around on purpose. she's both beautiful and a good actor. she's not stuck with one type of role but plays a variety, some cutesy, some serious, some complicated, others not.
-
Shin Ye Eun
South Korean
literal girl crush material. i was so happy with her in he is psychometric and when i found out she was a jyp actress, there were so many things that just made much more sense. i enjoyed her in a-teen as well and can't wait to see her performance in others.
-
Xing Fei
Chinese
-
Gong Yoo
South Korean
-
Bae Suzy
South Korean
i love the roles she plays, even if her characters seem similar. uncontrollably fond, while you were sleeping, and start-up all have suzy playing similar characters with slight differences regarding perhaps morals and where her heart lies but she can pull it off so well! the emotions evoked in uncontrollably fond leave me with chills and i don't think it's a coincidence that both uncontrollably fond and wyws are in my top listing shows. we'll see how start-up does

Miles Wei
Chinese

Kang Tae Oh
South Korean
he always looked so familiar in dramas and only now am i realizing that he's not from only one other drama i've seen but in 5. every character he plays gets me so into the show, it's incredible. a great actor for sure
