8. Hana Yori Dango

If you ever read or enjoyed any shojo manga, ever, give this a try. It's a romcom that hits all those self-indulgent tropes you pretend to hate but can't stop watching. Also has literally the best romance lead I've seen in years. An absolute classic!

A drama about new teacher Koichi rebuilding the school's baseball team. He gets to know each student one by one and teaches them to follow their dreams so they graduate with a smile on their face.
It's about never giving up, overcoming your past, and good ol' baseball!
