1. The Princess's Man
Korean Drama - 2011, 24 episodes
MY FAVORITE!
binge watched this june 2018. the cinematography was great. the pacing, OST (fave track is Love in a day), and wardrobe were spot on.
the acting! this is my first time watching moon chae won and man, did she make me cry with her dialogue and delivery... (p.s. i rarely cry watching kdramas).
park si hoo really won me over as well. his character transformed throughout the story and i felt that he nailed each performance. also.. the all black outfit with the ponytail hairstyle?! swoon.
as for the story, sure there were cliche devices used in the plot line ocassionally, but they were incorporated in a way that complemented the story. the supporting characters were all distinct and you'll grow to appreciate them just as much as the leads.
i appreciated the gripping plot which kept me hooked from ep 1 all the way to 24.
ultimately, the princess' man tells a poignant story of a love so strong stood its ground during a time and in a place where the circumstances defied it.
i would definitely rewatch it again.

2. It's Okay, That's Love
Korean Drama - 2014, 16 episodes
another FAVORITE! simply amazing.
this drama touches on some topics i haven't watched in any other dramas. and it touches on them so well.
it was beautiful to watch both lead characters learn from each other and become more whole in the end. the unwavering support and trust they had for one another made this pairing one of my favorites ever.
ok, shoutout to JO IN SUNG's acting. he delivered an incredible performance as jang jae yeol.
it's okay that's love is something i recommend to anyone and everyone. it'll hold a special place in your kdrama heart for ages!!
