Founder and director of the Taiwan International Queer Film Festival and of GagaOOLala, the first queer film streaming platform in Asia, Jay Lin has weaved his life as a gay dad, a media executive, a gay activist (he is also one of the organizers of the Marriage Equality Coalition in Taiwan) and a movie producer together into one singular focus: to elevate LGBT visibility and accelerate acceptance in Taiwan and, hopefully, beyond. His company, Portico Media, has received numerous awards, including the Golden Horse for Best Short Film and the Taipei Film Award for Best Feature. Portico Media is now a dynamic hub for content development, production, distribution and marketing.
