Marcus Chang, born Chang Wen Chien (張文謙) in Taipei, Taiwan, is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter, actor, and music video producer. He moved to New Zealand at age 13 to attend boarding school and later earned a bachelor's degree in Performing Arts from the University of Auckland in 2006. He also studied sound engineering at SAE Creative Media Institute and St. Peter’s College in Auckland.

Although he aspired to become a singer at 17, his parents, who were in business, hoped he would return to Taiwan to take over the family business. After graduating, he returned to Taiwan to assist with his father's health issues.

Before officially debuting in 2014 with "Waiting for the One" (等一個人咖啡), Chang completed his military service and worked in various jobs, including as a mascot at an amusement park, part-time work, and as a wedding photographer. He also contributed to the Spring Scream music festival and worked in music for a theater troupe.

Chang has been affiliated with Sony Music Taiwan (台灣索尼音樂) since 2018 and Star Entertainment (群星瑞智) since 2014.
