Jung Hyun Woo, known professionally as Narachan, is a South Korean singer and leader of the boy group originally known as M.O.N.T. ("Member of the National Team") under FM Entertainment. Each member is native from Ganghwa Island and has a pure Korean name with Narachan meaning "a person possessing a sincere heart". He made his debut with the group TROPHY, under the stage name Chan.O, in 2015 but unfortunately, the group was not successful and quietly disbanded later that year. He continued with the company and joined a new project idol group that released the alternative R&B-dancehall single "Sorry" on May 21, 2017 as a pre-debut teaser. Each member participated in the show "Mixnine" and he lasted the longest, reaching 33rd place. He made his official re-debut as the lead vocalist of M.O.N.T. in 2019 with their 1st mini-album "Going Up". Later that year, they became the first idol group to record an MV on the Liancourt Rocks (known in South Korea as Dokdo Island and in Japan as Takeshima) with the patriotic single "대한민국만세" ("Daehan Minguk Mansae"). In 2020, the group was re-branded as M.O.N.T. Original with the intention of creating 3 separate M.O.N.T. sub-groups of 3 members each. He enlisted on the military on May 25, 2021 and, at the time of recording, he could not join his group mates in the show "Peak Time" so only Roda and Bitsaeon participated.
