Shimizu Kaori is a Japanese voice actress, actress, and novelist born in Tokyo, Japan. She began her career as a child actress at the age of 6 and made her voice acting debut in 1998.

During her childhood, she aspired to become a makeup artist or a nursery school teacher. She made her debut in commercials at the age of 7, appearing in a Nagasakuya Doraemon snack commercial.

From her debut until 2003, she was affiliated with Pure Hearts, then worked as a freelancer for a period before joining Street Tree in August 2008. She left the agency at the end of February 2017 and became a freelancer again.

She announced her marriage on November 29, 2017, and the birth of her first child, a boy, on March 9, 2019.
