Kim Ju Yeon is a South Korean comedienne turned shaman. She graduated from Korea Arts High School and later obtained an associate's degree in Broadcasting Entertainment from the Seoul Institute of the Arts.

She originally wanted to be an actress but her family's financial situation forced her to look for other options. She made her debut in 2006 as part of the 15th open recruitment for comedians at MBC with several segments in "It's a Gag" (개그야).

In 2009, the show was cancelled and she briefly appeared in other shows before MBC decided to completely cancel all comedy shows from the network's programming in early 2014.

She then quit the industry and disappeared from TV for many years until 2022 when it was revealed she became a shaman.
