Yang Hong Seok is a South Korean singer, dancer, actor, model and member of PENTAGON (펜타곤). He graduated from Nankai University International College Affiliated High School in China and later obtained a master's degree in Applied Music from Central University.

Before debuting, he spent 11 years living abroad, in the United States, Singapore, and China, before returning to South Korea to pursue his career as a singer.

He participated in Mnet's survival show "Pentagon Maker" and was chosen as one of the original 7 members of the new boy group to be managed by CUBE Entertainment (큐브엔터테인먼트).

He made his debut in October 2016 as PENTAGON's lead vocalist with their self-titled debut EP. He also began working as a model with labelmate HyunA.

He enlisted for his mandatory military service on May 3, 2022, and was discharged on December 26, 2022, after he was diagnosed with severe panic disorder, depression and agoraphobia.

In November 2023, he parted ways with Cube Entertainment and a few days later, he signed with ANDMARQ (앤드마크).
