Lee Tae Il
- Name: Lee Tae Il
- Native name: 이태일
- Also Known as: Taeil
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Male
- Born: September 24, 1990
- Age: 34
He made his debut in April 2011 as the group's main vocalist with the digital single "Do U Wanna B?". The group was created by Cho PD and Stardom Entertainment (스타덤 엔터테인먼트) and enjoyed some success in their early years.
In January 2013, all members filed a lawsuit against the agency for allegedly withholding their payments and not providing opportunities to promote and train. In June of that year, the court ruled in favor of Stardom, and the case was dismissed.
In August 2013, the group transferred to KQ Entertainment (KQ 엔터테인먼트) and obtained commercial success with the following 3 single albums, debuted in Japan and held concerts in Europe and the U.S.
In January 2018, the group released a repackage of their previous album titled "Re: Montage" before taking an indefinite hiatus to fulfill military enlistments and focus on other activities.
He enlisted for his mandatory military service on June 10, 2019, and was discharged on January 4, 2021.
He briefly reunited with his group mates during an episode of "The Seasons Season 5" (with Zico as the show's host), and talks of a possible comeback have been held, but nothing official has been determined. BLOCK B has never officially disbanded, but despite not having released any new material for almost a decade, the group retains a strong domestic fanbase.
