He finally debuted in 2014 as B.I.G's main dancer and vocalist with the single "Hello", which was immediately praised for the lyrics that highlight South Korean culture and promote the country. In 2016, they signed a contract with HY Entertainment and debuted in Japan with their 1st mini-album, "Aphrodite", and a Japanese version of the song "Taola". The following year, he entered the signing survival show "The Uni.T" and placed 33rd overall.
In 2020, he entered global idol project "G-EGG" and was selected to join the final lineup who debuted in South Korea in September 2021 with the single "Santa Monica" and they debuted in Japan one week later with the single "Universe". That same year, he was named B.I.G's new leader after former leader J-Hoon was discharged from the military and agreed to the change and also joined co-ed group TRIPLE SEVEN (777) who debuted with the song "Presente".
In July 2023, NIK ended activities and all members returned to their original agencies. He enlisted for his mandatory military service on January 26, 2023 and he is expected to be discharged on October 25, 2024.
