Star Empire Entertainment (스타제국) and the company's CEO, Shin Ju Hak, wanted to introduce the concept of a rotating lineup with all the members being active in different fields. The original lineup was chosen through Mnet's reality show "Children of the Empire". However, they faced constant lineup changes as members were changed almost every year.
She made her debut in January 2015 when she joined 9MUSES as the new main vocalist and maknae with their third mini-album, "Drama". Then, in August 2016, she debuted as a member of the group's first sub unit, 9MUSES A, with the single album "Muses Diary".
In February 2019, Star Empire announced the disbandment of 9MUSES and, after her contract expired, she left the company.
In February 2020, she made her solo debut with the single "Fingertips".
In December 2023, there were conversations of a possible 9MUSES comeback but nothing has materialized since then.
She is now represented by Handa Productions (한다프로덕션) and works mainly as a musical actress.
