Star Empire Entertainment (스타제국) and the company's CEO, Shin Ju Hak, wanted to introduce the concept of a rotating lineup with all the members being active in different fields. The original lineup was chosen through Mnet's reality show "Children of the Empire". However, they faced constant lineup changes as members were changed almost every year.
She was part of the pre-debut lineup but decided to leave before 9MUSES was able to debut. After failing to make her debut at another agency, she returned to Star Empire in January 2013 and joined as the group's new main rapper, lead dancer and vocalist with their digital single, "Dolls".
In June 2017, Star Empire announced she was taking an indefinite hiatus to focus on her studies and also to work as a DJ. She married DJ DaQ in May 2018 and never returned to the group's lineup.
In December 2023, there were conversations of a possible 9MUSES comeback but nothing has materialized since then.
She is not represented by any agency and works as a digital content creator and DJ.
