Im Jae Beom, commonly known by his stage names JB and Jay B, is a South Korean singer and leader of the hip-hop group GOT7 under JYP Entertainment. He was scouted by JYP Entertainment from JYP Trainee Open Recruitment 5th Audition, where he tied in first place with Jr. He then underwent training for 2 years and 6 months before his debut.

JB made his small-screen debut through the drama series “Dream High 2” in 2012. He has also starred in MBC's “When a Man Falls in Love” as Seo Mi Joon.

On January 10th, 2021, JYP Entertainment initially announced that his and his members' exclusive contracts would expire. On January 11th, 2021, JYP Entertainment released an official statement reiterating that all members will leave the company after their exclusive contract expires on January 19th, 2021. As of May 11th, 2021, he has joined H1GHR MUSIC.

On July 25th, 2022, H1GHR MUSIC released a statement saying his and Sik-K's contract had expired, and they mutually agreed they'd be leaving the company. The singer recently signed with CDNZA Records. He parted ways with CDNZA Records in April 2023.

JAY B was in a relationship with special effects artist and YouTuber PURE.D (Kim Do Hyun). According to the report, they were introduced to each other through an acquaintance.
