Kang Chan Hee, known simply as Chani, is a South Korean singer, rapper, dancer, actor, model and member of SF9 (short for Sensational Feeling 9). He graduated from Seoul Performing Arts High School, focusing on Acting Arts. He debuted as a child actor in 2009 with a role on MBC's "The Great Queen Seondeok" and was also a model. Later, he spent 7 years as a trainee, including time at Fantagio, where he appeared in the byebyesea music video for "Starlight Is Falling".

After switching companies, he, alongside his future groupmates, performed in Japan in late 2015. He then entered the FNC Entertainment survival show, "d.o.b (Dance or Band)", competing as part of NEOZ Dance. The agency renamed the group as SF9, and he made his debut in October 2016 as the group's main dancer, sub-rapper, face of the group and maknae with their 1st single album, "Feeling Sensation".

In 2017, the group found their breakthrough when their 1st EP, "Burning Sensation", reached #6 on the Billboard World Albums Chart. They also debuted in Japan with a Japanese version of their debut lead single, "Fanfare", and had successful concerts in Japan and the United States. The group has enjoyed continued success since then, releasing music and having events around the world. In 2018, he and Hwiyoung appeared in an episode of the Thai sitcom "Coffee Society 4.0".

In 2021, he renewed his contract with FNC Entertainment and SF9 entered "Kingdom: Legendary War" but finished in last place out of 6 teams. With the older members enlisting or being discharged from their mandatory military service, he remains actively promoting the group's latest songs and also acting, as he and Rowoon are the members with the most acting experience.
