  • Given name: Young Lee Min

Lee Min Young, known simply as Min, is a South Korean singer, dancer, actress and former member of MISS A (미쓰에이). She graduated from Repertory Company High School for Theater Arts in New York.

Before debuting, she appeared in "BoBoBo" (the South Korean equivalent of "Sesame Street") as part of the duo called EOLLEONG DDUNDDANG. Then, at the age of 13, she joined future GIRLS' GENERATION member Hyo Yeon and formed a dance duo called LITTLE WINNERS. She was then sent to the United States to continue training.

JYP Entertainment (JYP엔터테인먼트) wanted to launch a Chinese version of WONDER GIRLS. They signed with Samsung Electronics in China and released a song used for a commercial called "Love Again". She was only part of the song's MV, but after some lineup changes, she was brought up to debut with the group in South Korea.

She made her debut in July 2010 as the group's main dancer, lead vocalist and lead rapper with their first EP, "Bad But Good". The lead single "Bad Girl Good Girl" became the first ever song by a debuting group to reach #1 on the Gaon Digital Chart also becoming the best-performing single.

She made her official acting debut in 2011 with a role in the movie "Countdown".

The group's following releases were also praised by music critics and the public, and they enjoyed an increase in popularity. However, in March 2015, they went on an indefinite hiatus following the promotional period for their EP "Colors", and the group never released any new material again.

In mid-2016, she began appearing in more acting roles, and in musicals and in November 2017, she announced her departure from JYP and the group just one month before it disbanded.

In May 2019, she signed a contract with K-Tigers E&C (K타이거즈 E&C) and made her debut as a solo artist in November 2021 with the digital single "Onion".
