Park Gyu Ri is a South Korean child actress, singer, dancer and member of KARA (카라). She graduated from Anyang Arts High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Broadcasting and Entertainment from Dongduk Women's University.

She made her debut in 1994 with a role in the MBC comedy series "Today Is A Good Day". She appeared in "Shower" and shared credits with Kang Ho Dong. She later had several roles in dramas as a child or a teenager before she decided to pursue her career as a singer.

She made her singing debut in March 2007 as KARA's leader and lead vocalist with their first full-length album, "The First Bloooooming" (later retitled as "Blooming"). The album was not a commercial success and went unrecognized by the public, and DSP Media (DSP미디어) began pressuring them as they were seen as the successors of FIN.K.L.

The group faced several lineup changes throughout the years, and in January 2016, all members ended their contracts with DSP. It was implied KARA disbanded, but all members released statements saying that the group would just be on hiatus until a new opportunity to reunite appeared. She then retook her acting career and also became a radio host.

In June 2022, she reunited with all KARA members for a photoshoot, and the group officially came back in November of that year with the album "Move Again", commemorating their 15th anniversary. They held several fan meetings in Japan and concerts in both Japan and South Korea.

She is now represented by Big Boss Entertainment (빅보스엔터테인먼트).
