Kim Yu Bin is a South Korean singer, dancer, actress and former member of WONDER GIRLS (원더걸스). She attended Anyang Arts High School but dropped out and is on a leave of absence in the Musical Performance program at Myongji University.

She spent time as a trainee at Good Entertainment and was set to debut as part of their new group, FIVE GIRLS (오소녀). However, the company faced financial issues, and all the members left without having the chance to debut.

After switching agencies, JYP Entertainment (JYP엔터테인먼트) decided to add her to WONDER GIRLS as their new main rapper, vocalist, drummer, and face of the group. The group debuted in February 2007, but Kim Hyun Ah left the group after 4 months, and she took her place. She debuted with the release of their first studio album, "The Wonder Years".

The group quickly became one of the most popular girl groups in South Korea, and singles like "Tell Me" (2007), "Nobody" (2008), and "So Hot" (2008) topped the domestic music charts. "Nobody" entered the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, making them the first South Korean group to enter the chart.

In 2013, she made her acting debut with the drama “The Virus”. Since then, she has appeared in other dramas and variety shows.

In January 2017, JYP announced the group's disbandment after some members did not renew their contracts. She decided to remain with the agency until January 2020, when she finally parted ways.

She made her debut as a solo artist in July 2018 with the Japanese single "Lady".

In February 2020, she formed her own entertainment company, RRR Entertainment (르엔터테인먼트), to continue promoting as an artist.
