Jung Il Hoon is a South Korean singer, dancer, producer and former member of BTOB (비투비). He graduated from Hanlim Multi-Arts High School and later obtained an associate's degree in Acting from Korea Film Academy and a bachelor's degree in Practical Music from Digital Seoul Culture and Arts University.

He debuted in March 2012 as the group's main rapper and vocalist with their first single album, "Insane".

He made his debut as a solo artist in February 2018 with the album "Big Wave".

He enlisted for his mandatory military service on May 28, 2020. However, in December of that year, CUBE Entertainment (큐브엔터테인먼트) announced his departure from BTOB as he was being investigated by the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency for using marijuana in prior years.

In June 2021, he was found guilty and sentenced to 2 years in prison, so he was released from the military on June 9, 2021, to fulfill his sentence. After appealing the ruling, his sentence was commuted to 3 years probation, and he returned to complete his military service in December 2021. He was finally discharged in September 2022.

In late 2024, he signed with Carpenters Art Republic (카펜터즈아트리퍼블릭), hoping to showcase his woodwork and also trying to rejoin the entertainment industry as a solo artist.
