He made his debut in 2001 as part of the 16th open recruitment for comedians at KBS. He appeared in "Gag Concert" for a few years before he was charged with sexually harassing a male composer and had to leave the show.
He was found not guilty due to lack of evidence and returned to TV as a beauty expert. His beauty-related content attracted the attention of several variety shows and he enjoyed some initial popularity before a myriad of controversies nearly ended his career. He was often criticized for his rude attitude towards guests and sponsored products on his YouTube channel and his viewers began to decrease. His TV appearances also ended for his harsh remarks and being too difficult to work with.
