Joo Jong Hyuk is a South Korean singer turned film actor, theatre and musical actor. He was formerly known as Ryan, the lead vocalist of the male vocal group PARAN which debuted in 2005. The group remained active until around 2008 when it disbanded due to military enlistment and contract expiration. After being discharged from the military, he changed his stage name to his real name.
