Enomoto Misae was a Japanese singer born in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture. Due to her underprivileged family, she was sent to servitude by the theater owner in Asakusa in 1934. In 1938 she became a geisha in Noto, Ishikawa Prefecture, and moved to Tokyo in 1940. She later studied singing at the Japanese Kayo Gakuin.

She joined Taichiku in 1946 and made the hit song"Jusanya." In 1947, she made her movie debut as a maid of Shintoho "Bonbon." She has since appeared in many movies.

In 1998, she was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. She died on September 23 of the same year, at the age of 74. Edit Biography
