Hwang Min Hyun is a South Korean singer, actor, and former member of NU'EST (뉴이스트) and Wanna One (워너원). After two years of training, he debuted in South Korean group NU'EST on March 15, 2012 with the single titled “Face.” Prior to his debut, he was known for appearing in various music videos such as Hello Venus’s "Venus," Orange Caramel's "Shanghai Romance," and A.S. Blue's "Wonder Boy." His enlisted for mandatory military service was set for March 21, 2024 as a social service worker with an expected discharge date of December 20, 2025.

In 2017, he competed on the survival show "Produce 101 Season 2," landing his place in Wanna One. He was with the group from August 2017 to December 2018 when they disbanded, and he returned to NU’EST. NU’EST’s contracts expired on March 14, 2022, and Min Hyun renewed his contract with PLEDIS Entertainment (플레디스 엔터테인먼트), continuing his career as an actor and solo musician.

Min Hyun made his musical theatre debut as Count Axel von Fersen in the musical Marie Antoinette in 2019. He had his first lead role in the web drama “Live On” (라이브온) in 2020. Hwang made his solo debut with his 1st mini album titled "Truth or Lie" along with the title track “Hidden Side” on 27 February, 2023.
