A REAL STORY
1- STORYI think that this story is so realistic. When Best is falling in love with Dew I can clearly imagine what he is feeling; during all the scenes where Best hide while seeing Dew, I can find me in his behavior. 'If I were Best/Dew I would also do something similar, that's what I thought while watching the series. This is new for me: I have never felt like this towards a character before. There were also no 'cliché' except for the female character.
Let's talk about this cause I'm tired of seeing a negative representation of female characters. What she does in the last episode is so cruel: you don't have the right to talk about other people's (that are also your friends, that trust you) feelings with their parents (Dew's mother in this case). Doing this girls will be hated too much :(
2- ACTING
The acting is great, all the actors did well! I can feel Best and Dew's anxiety and shyness while meeting or seeing each other (so cuteee). The actor I empathized the most with is Best especially when he was crying cause he thought Dew likes Fern; I cried with him :(
3-MUSIC
The OST is enjoyable; War's voice is so gentle >-<
4-RW
I will find it difficult to rewatch the series because of the subtitles: a lot of sentences are missed, so disappointing. (P.S. I don't consider the rewatch value in my final rating).
P.S. HOW ABOUT A SECOND SEASON?

I liked it
When I heard about the comeback of the kings I was starving, so I'm glad that this series was good also because it seems to be the last MaxTul's project. The most important thing I wanna say, which is also the reason why I gave the series 8.5, is the change of environment. All the bl series I have seen since the beginning were set in schools/universities or at work but the love story between Bun and Tan is set in the middle of a murder. Due to this, the story is more eventful and not only concerned about romance. So what I appreciate is the mix between romance and something else because if you do things like that the series won't be repetitive and will be more interesting.
Secondly, there is a nice balance between the love story and the setting because the love story isn't overshadowed by the setting. At the beginning of the show I was scared of that and I'm relieved that it didn't happen because it would be an easy mistake.
In addition to the interesting plot and the nice balance of the show, there are the love scenes. I have noticed the good chemistry between the two actors since Together With Me and I'm happy to have seen it in this project too. The cute scenes may be quite trivial and a little bit cheesy but the thing is I love this kind of scenes. The hot one is so well done! It is not only because I can see all the desire in their eyes and their kisses but also because the longing is due to the sexual tension of the previous episodes. Tan has been heavily hitting on Bun since the beginning.
Lastly, I wanna explain my ratings on music and rewatch value. The opening is proper and I can say the same thing talking about the music because it helps to involve the viewer in the series. About the rewatch value I have to say that it won't be attractive doing a complete rewatch when you already know the end of the crime part. If I will watch something again I'll only select some of the scenes that I've liked the most.
P.S. I don't consider the rewatch value in my final rating.

Well done kdrama
This kdrama is well done. It is not focused on "big themes" but analyzes interpersonal relationships [like romance, friendship, family] and emotions [like jealousy, grudge]. Although it's a simple "office drama" it's well structured, the plot it's interesting.Sure thing there are some clichés, I'm referring to Kang Tae-moo's grandfather or Jin Young-seo's father.
Furthermore the first meeting of the side couple [love at first sight], their quarrel over Young-seo's colleague and the initial 'situation-ship' of the main couple. However both couples are 'correctly' developed. I appreciated Kang Tae Moo's confession as soon as he realises his feelings, I think Shin Ha-Ri is really cool and strong, and for me both couples can be considered green.
The acting is marvelous, referring to all the members of the team, so natural and plausible. I have to say my favourite character is the main female lead, she's amusing, sunny, charismatic <3
The music was balanced between serious themes and funnier ones, so it perfectly represents the soul of the show.
Rewatch
I have to admit that I already watched the series few times after the first. It's so enjoyable.
p.s. I don't consider RW in my final rating

the perfect series
I'll start by saying that this was my first Thai drama ever: I was on YouTube when I randomly saw one of its trailers. Therefore it has a significance that overcomes the work itself and influences a part of my life. Indeed UWMA introduced me to the Thai drama world and encouraged me to deepen that world, making me passionate from the first episode.Since the beginning of 2020, this drama has been my touchstone: I usually compare every new series to this one. I always think I was lucky to start with UWMA. Although there are some "questionable" scenes, overall the work seems to be well-balanced:
- there are cliches but they aren't that unpleasant
- great equilibrium between main and side couples
- the story is captivating, the suspense and mystery amiable and long enough. And I love the red thread trope <3
- supportive and enjoyable music (I downloaded at least two songs)
- the acting is [I wasn't gonna say perfect but] if not we are almost there. I was there with them, near them. For real. I lost count of how many times I cried in front of the screen.
- nice production
UWMA brings along considerable emotional baggage, it's a cross of destinies. There's poetry in it. It is both soft, like clouds or cotton candy, and rough as the impetuosity of life.
P.S. I don't consider the rewatch value in my final rating.
thank you for reading :)

Something that I have already seen
Story 7.5-The straight side couple. The story was classic: two best friends that love each other, the characters were kinda funny so it was a great side couple, also because the relationship was healthy (differently from the main couple).
-The lesbian side couple. The story was still between two best friends that love each other but this time it was between two girls. You know I have rarely seen a lesbian couple so I was well impressed and glad. They were so cute and healthy!
-The main couple. All of you will agree with me saying that at the beginning the relationship was toxic. Jea-eon hasn't wanted a serious relationship with Nabi until episode 7/8 I think. On the contrary, there was the other guy. In my opinion, Na-bi should have acted differently: you can't treat a guy in a special way when you are in love, clearly in love, with someone else!
2- Acting 8
All of the actors did a really good job. I could feel their emotions and the passion of the characters. To make some examples I can think about some scenes:
- The kiss between Bit-na and Kyu Hyun was so good! I could feel that they wanted that kiss although she was drunk.
- Sol and Seo's confession was also full of emotions. I could feel that both of them didn't want to lose the other.
- In all their scenes I could feel a strong connection between Na-bi and Jea-eon. When Na-bi was with Do Hyuk I couldn't feel the same. It was also thanks to the cameras being so near their faces but it is also the good acting that mattered.
3- Music 8
I enjoyed all the songs, in particular:
- Like a butterfly
- Fall in love
4- RW 6.5
I guess I will rewatch some scenes but not the entire show because of the toxic nature of the main relationship.
P.S. I don't consider the rw while rating

One of my favourite kinds of stories
Preview: I assessed this series like this because there were some aspects that I like in general although some technical things weren't well managed.1-STORY: One of my favourite kinds of relationships is the one between a policeman and a criminal so when I read the plot of the series I decided to watch it. Also, the framework was interesting, so I wanted to know who killed Tang and Chen's girlfriend. The problems in the storyline are that firstly it is not really possible to have this kind of relationship (but this is a series and I can accept it), secondly the plot was a little bit confusing (I always appreciate storylines that are cryptic because I like to guess who the guilty one is but this one was too much enigmatic because we didn't have enough information to try to predict what happened 4 years before) and lastly a real policeman cannot act like Shao-fei did (doing what he wants so just continue following Tang-yi wherever he goes) but the rest of the police and mafia's world was well represented also thanks to the acting, in particular during the fight scenes.
2-ACTING: let's start with bad things: I disliked one of the side couples, the one composed by Jack and Zhao. I felt that their relationship wasn't realistic enough as much as the way they got together.
The story of the other side couple was canonic but I appreciated it because love stories between presidents and secretaries are one of my favourite stereotypes. The acting was also better than the first side couple.
My favourite couple was the main one because, as I said before, their kind of relationship is one of my favourite ones and due to their acting. While watching them I could imagine a real and healthy relationship. That was also because they kissed a lot of times: in my opinion, this helped to make it clear that their relationship was daily because kisses are a sign of privacy. I also adored their confessions: it was so simple! Shao-fei had no worries about confessing and neither had Tang-Yi after understanding that he was in love with the policeman (I love that this clear fact is obviously in contrast with the chaotic framework but let's forget for a minute that someone was trying to kill both of them). Another thing that made me fall for them is the completely different personalities of the two lovers (talking also about the individual part of the acting I noticed that Chris and Jack did a great job) that are complementary.
3-MUSIC: The ost was good enough. The music during the episodes was also a good support for the scenes.
4-RV: Tbh I have only rewatched a few of the scenes that were my favourite ones (I haven't counted the rewatch value in my final rating).
P.S. Am I the only one who is in love with the poster of the series? it summarized the contrast between the two principal characters (it can be noticed by the way they are dressed) and shows that the kind of situation in which they will meet is particular (one of the two is going to shoot the other). The pink background is just perfect!
Thank you for reading my review, hope you have found it useful and don't forget to use the #freetangyi ;)

WHAT A PITY
a) StoryBefore starting my review I have to say that I have watched the entire series. It is said that I haven't just because I have just gone through the last three episodes because I didn't wanna watch them. I have appreciated the first nine episodes and also the 10th cause I know what happened even if I didn't see it all. I have wanted for a long time to rate this series with a different grade like 8.5 or even 9 cause I was enjoying it a lot. The type of story that goes from friendship to love is also one of my favourite ones. I just lose interest in this work when I understand what was going to happen in the last two episodes. I know there are good scenes even there but I didn't wanna watch them because I knew that every time is the same thing, every time are gonna happened those nasty events that you don't wanna see. The question is why, why are these occurrences always on screen? In my opinion, the series will be watched even without them.
I gave at the story 7 because the first nine episodes were charming: all the things were going well, the characters were talking to each other (and this is rare) and solving problems together like a real couple would have done. I also found some characters interesting like Fiat's mother's one because I have always seen problems associated with rivals (like King) and homophobic parents but she was different. Secondly, although his actions at the end, my favourite persona so far was Leo. He was there when needed, he was always fighting for Fiat and supporting him, he was not against having fun too and properly jealous. Don't you think that he is similar to Dean from Until We Meet Again?
b) Acting
The acting was well done. First was the number one for me: his crying scenes were awesome like the ones with his parents. Ja was pretty good too but sometimes his expressions were strange, I don't know how to express myself, I just could understand that he was acting. James, Smart and the others also did a great job.
Love scenes were cute, so cute, with both the main and the side couple I felt the affinity between the two actors. I have to say that I don't like when they say something like: «I have to leave or you will be in danger» «I won't be able to stop myself». These are cringe sentences that for me can be omitted. I noticed the quick changing of the atmosphere, from sweet to seducing during LeoFiat scenes, something that I appreciated. Further, I enjoyed the fact that Fiat got some experience in sex, thanks to this those scenes were more attractive. Regarding Leon and Pob I loved the way they kissed, for the fact that Smart took James' neck and not his cheek.
c) Music
The songs were enjoyable, differently from the effects during the episodes. I can understand that this series was a little dramatic sometimes and that those effects could help defuse the atmosphere but they were too many.
d) Rewatch value
I have rewatched the first seven episodes at least three times each; regarding the others, I have just viewed my favourite scenes. I must say that this series was gorgeous and I am sorry about my rating but I am so disappointed in the last episodes.
P.S. I don't consider the rewatch value in my final rating.

great plan, modest result
1: Story. The first thing I wanna say is that I liked the idea of the plot: a series where you want to show the routine of a couple so a life between love, work and friends. That's what we can see in the first seven episodes, right? Too much, that's boring! The thing is that it isn't due to the plot but to the number of episodes in which nothing happened (except for Gulf's problem at work). While watching the show I felt for example that Fiat wasn't doing anything except for flirting and this until episode ten (of twelve)! Why didn't it happen at least an episode before? Also how about the side couples? I'd have preferred more scenes with the three beautiful side couples that we got. In conclusion, there was a bad time management.
Secondly, I wanna talk about the two main characters of Tharn and Type because, honestly, I was expecting a better development of them. In my opinion, Type is the one who has changed a little bit and we can see it because of the moment where he punched his boss to defend his boyfriend. This means that he is much more confident and less uncomfortable saying that he is gay. I'm sorry but I have to say that Tharn is still too much jealous and his reaction after Fiat's kiss is exaggerated, he is still too immature. Talking about the couple I can see more passion in their actions and eyes while having s*x and I appreciate it but how about other situations? I want to mention two different events: Type's problem at work and Type's revenge against Fiat. In the first one, although Tharn tried to discuss the problem with his partner (and this is the development of Mew's character) because he was seeing him in a bad mood, Type refuses to talk to him at first. In the second one, Type acts precisely as he acted seven years before with Lohng. In both of these situations Type refuses to talk to Tharn. Why can't they still talk to each other after seven years of relationship?
Lastly, I wanna ask: why the behaviour of Type's father is still the same as seven years before?
2: Acting.
I'll start talking about Mew and Gulf because they are good as always. I've also said it before mentioning hot scenes although they're good in all the scenes. In particular, I want to talk about the scene where Tharn was crying after the 'we have to take a break' and Type's crying scene at the beach after calling Tharn: both of them are done so well! Honestly, I am a little bit disappointed in the acting of the side couples' actors because the scenes seem to be unnatural. It hurts so bad because I liked those side couples!
3: Music.
I haven't much to say about the music. The ost is good but I preferred the first season's ones.
4: Rewatch value.
Because the first seven episodes are almost the same, I think that I won't rewatch all of them but I'll only choose to watch my favourite scenes another time (P.S. I don't consider the rewatch value in my final rating).
P.S. An important thing I wanna add is the fact that in my opinion, WE EXPECTED TOO MUCH from this second season that's why a lot of us are disappointed.
