WORST ROMANCE

Okay so let me start off by saying that the main couple in this series is disgusting. Irin has groomed Namcha when he was 15 and she was 22. That is just illegal and also if the genders were switched everyone would think it’s creepy. The two main actors do not have chemistry and it’s obvious that Irin’s actress is 10+ years better than Win. Her acting was great though despite the horrible script. Win’s acting not so much honestly, the way he delivers lines is so stuff and he was far better in F4.

The fact that Namcha won’t leave Irin alone for a few minutes is so annoying. He won’t even give her five minutes to be alone and process her feelings and he’s always stalking her to tell her how she should be with him because he loves her. He has never cared about if she herself loves him. In the end it feels like she was forced to care for him because she felt bad for him because of how much he’d stalked her. Also, he doesn’t accept that Inn loves him but he loves Irin the same way Inn loves him.

Honestly Namcha is one of the worst characters I’ve ever seen. He is utterly useless and neglects his work to stalk Irin around all day. It’s very suffocating watching him.

Now for the good parts of the show, Inn and Jin are the most interesting characters and the story’s saving grace. Inn is a tragic character who needed psychiatric help but only got abusive people around her, including Namcha who treats her like an insect when she’s in the hospital. You can see her sometimes hesitant about what she’s doing but the others actions push her to go further. By the end she is completely crazy and really needs help as it’s obvious that she’s not truly evil and only needs some attention. Jin is interesting as well despite not having proper backstory. He uses Inn to separate Irin and Namcha but falls for Inn and stops being evil. Inn’s actress was great.

I recommend it only if you skip the creepy “romantic” scenes between Namcha and Irin. Fairly entertaining but nothing special.
