Unforgettable Collaborations, a Mastermind Villain, Nail-Biting Plot Twists, and a Beautiful Romance

This drama is one of the best dramas out there if someone is looking for a lot of thrill with nerve-wracking plot twists and cliffhangers and a drama with well-structured crimes as well as investigations then then you have reached your station. One of the best things that makes this drama stand out is how real the drama looks for example here the ML doesn't just magically solves cases but rather goes through various iterations again and again making sense out of the evidence and drawing various plans, this is what that is usually missing from most crime-thriller dramas. Another aspect is that the characters all had their own lives instead of all working on the same case for the sake of the plot always surrounding the ML Instead all had their own share of things to take care of many were investigating other cases many helped ML solve the cases through their own domain expertise which is also different than another other drama out there which made this drama look more like a real-world situation where we sometimes collaborate with someone other time with others, sometimes someone asks for help sometimes you get help from someone, if someone is injured or takes holidays we have their replacements. So for me, it felt more like watching a separate world through the camera lens. Wait there is still a lot more๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.
The plot revolves around the police department, NFS, and firefighters, and here we see cases that involve all three of them working together or at least called together on sites which later turns into collaborations. Each place has a set of repeating characters which we can consider the main characters yet they can also change given the circumstances It doesn't mean that any of them lack substance rather all will end up becoming your favorite For example here Doha was an addition that I really like his collaboration with ML just makes sense they are a perfect duo just like how we saw Jindo dog and Bulldozer together in S1.
The cases are much more extreme in S2 than in S1 making us think how the hell are they gonna do, whether they will make it out alive or not. These cases will keep you up all night until you complete the whole drama๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. There is also slight romance in the drama, not many scenes but it will surely melt your heart whenever you see them together in any scene. Both ML and FL have their own love language and their own way of expressing it. Oh man at this rate I will keep on going all day long talking about them๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ let's move on.
This drama also has one of the most brilliant villains who made all the best of the bests in the drama (like Jin Ho Gae, Kang Do Ha, and Yoon Hong, etc.) run around in the palm of his hands. He was the main mastermind pulling all the strings from behind but no one could even speculate even the crimes he drew let alone his identity or his involvement. This man literally used the whole country as his playing field and our character as players to play with. He was always working on many things at once unlike the normal villains who give their all in only one crime until they fail and move on to another, he on the other hand always had his hands full of plans to execute.
Although S2 is a little bit behind S1 but cases shown here are better than S1 and it also has much much better collaborations between the different teams, departments, and characters. The lineup at the end of S2 seemed too overly powered to me where all the best of the best were working together so I don't know if S3 comes out any of the villains would even last a single episode๐Ÿ˜‚. I would really love to see the actors working together again, especially the ML and FL. I don't know if there will be another season or not but all I know is that this drama created a whole different level or standard for other crime thriller dramas to work towards.

Potential good plot got diluted in love triangle but held on till the end.....

If you are someone who watches a drama without any external bias and are not affected by comments or social media then try this drama out. It started off with a really cheerful theme, with high potential, and had its fair share of angst and romance with some really really good music and dance sequences especially the OST "๋†’์ด (together)". As the episodes went by the main plot kind of was lost in the love triangle which more or less killed the vibe the earlier episodes created, well they recovered a bit around the last quarter of the show where there was some progress in the main plot but the impact was not that great. There were many obvious choices that would have actually made the drama much more engaging and not so frustrating until the last quarter but the writer I guess ignored all of them and messed up a really beautiful drama, which ended up being popular but could have been a lot lot better.
But even in that If you are someone who is looking to watch a good drama this is still a great choice as you won't have to wait a lot for the episodes rather they are all out and available for you, so you will feel a lot refreshing and might even enjoy the plot a lot. The actors did a really great job in their respective roles the portrayer of the personalities remained quite consistent and uniform.
Trust me as someone in this drama said "Sometimes it will feel like all the work is useless, but there comes a moment which makes you forget all of that." ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ You will surely like it just stick to the end.

Let's talk about the characters:
1. Do Hae Yi:- She is the kind of FL that you will surely start to like from the very start. She is responsible, caring, extremely funny, knows what she wants, and works for it. But we all know those qualities don't come easily as the price is the suffering they undergo to become like that. Her character was consistent in most parts of the show until a certain episode๐Ÿ˜ถ which ended quite short๐Ÿ˜ญ so don't worry. And had a really good and satisfying ending for her character really was soothing to the viewers.

2. Park Jung-woo:- Well my favorite character of the drama similar in a lot of sense to the FL, is also responsible, caring, not funny but a bit cute and geeky, and really the best captain which led Theia(the club) out from ruins to its formal glory. His only flaw is that he is way too protective of everyone especially the FL which kinda frustrated me๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ yet gave me a lot to learn about how actual love is like where the safety, respect, and trust in the other person is way more important than the fact that they are with you. But don't get confused he still slayed It in every respect and things took a good turn for him. Well, our captain changed completely for all the good reasons towards the last quarter of the show so look forward to it.

3. Jin Sun Ho:- It's not that I don't like his character but๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜… I really had a lot of beef with how he did things in this drama. His role was the one that went through the most changes throughout the drama, at the start for all the bad reasons then things started going good towards the last quarter of the show. His background in the drama was most emphasized as compared to any character in the drama, but I wasn't able to sympathize with his flaws and problems because of how his action was in most of the drama. In terms of being a good guy for FL, he was also a really great choice but well the competition was fierce watch the drama to find out who wins. His ending was okay but they could have given him a better one๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ.

4. Tae Cho Hee:- She had a really small screen time but was really impactful. The badass vice-captain Theia๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ, the best friend of our Captain accompanied him in his plans to save the club and fought alongside him till the end. Her ending was also really satisfying and trust me she was a really really cool character who took a stand for herself and everyone whenever necessary. I wish shows would have given her more scenes.

5. As for other characters, I if keep on writing like this I might end up writing an essay on this drama so I should stop and keep it brief. All the other supporting characters like Joo Sun Ja, Kim Min Jae, Ki Woon Chan, Choi So Yoon/Choi Ji Yoon, Lee Ha Jin, Bae Young Woong, And the families of all the characters were so so good you will definitely like them a lot each character had their fair share of problems but were all fighting to solve them and be happy and then found it, each one of them ๐Ÿฅบ.

There are multiple couples in the drama which really piqued my interest in club activities I guess I should find and join one too๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. All the couples in this drama really feel natural and fitting, their complimentary personalities, their understanding of their partners, etc. I also looked forward to all of the club performances as that's where all the characters shined a lot, especially the FL and our always-highlighted Captain (that's where he really gave off most of the cool captain vibe ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ).
Disclaimer: - This drama started a war between kdrama communities right from the very earlier episode which lasted most than 2-3 months ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ even I was a participant in that too.

A Healing drama we all needed

Nowadays there are very few dramas nearly only 1 or 2 per season of the year where we see a sweet non-complex story with a beautiful love line and an understanding couple. After watching "new life begins" which went up into my favorite list I thought I might not encounter another healing drama but then found this one. Right from the very start, you will find this drama out of ordinary with its comical developments and clear distinction of all the characters (meaning who is who). What touched me the most in this drama was the little details referencing the scenes from the previous episode, you don't even need to be that much attentive to notice the subtly references they put from the earlier episode's dialogues or scenes making us remember those moments without unnecessarily filling the episodes with flashbacks.
The supporting characters were also really great, it creates a really good vibe when Leads have good besties who give them sensible life advice and help them understand what they truly want or feel about things. Also in this drama, you won't find any cliche cold CEO vibe or controlling families or forced political marriages, etc. rather it's kind of the opposite of normal cliche CEO X Secretary drama. Although the story is not that realistic the depiction of how a healthy couple should be like is surely delivered well, they talk about their concerns(if you are a rom-com fan you will surely love the confession scene here), and they don't hide stuff, they worry for each other and help each other whenever wherever possible.
If you want a break from all the heavy dramas out this year this one surely is the one for you, well at least it was like for me.

A good blend of rom-com and social issues

If you are a fan of a stable couple with a non-complex romantic comedy plotline then this drama is for you. It has a really well-executed plotline that contains a blend of all prominent genres and the actors did a pretty great of in their portrayal of the characters. I really liked how this show did not rely on filler episodes just to get to the 40-episode mark rather every 2-3 episodes dealt with a meaningful issue in a really light fashion but a burst of comedy in every one of them to keep us involved in the whole drama all the time.
There were multiple couples each representing a different kind of issue, plus each individual character had a depth in their story plus a decent amount of plot time for all of these to unfold. Personally, I really like the lead couple both were really cute, caring, and understanding of each other and worked together to make their goals a realization. Plus I suppose after the love-like galaxy this is the drama with not-so-much politics in a royal family and is filled with some people who actually want to live like a family and care for each other.
The CGI and Songs used in the episodes are also done really well you can see how much effort they have put in for all the scenes and the overall story. Trust me and watch it, it's really great.

When life gives you lemons make a band with it😂 maybe all will be fine💕

A healing drama containing all the elements you will need to brighten up your life. You will feel happy, you will feel sad, you will sometimes laugh, or you will just sometimes watch the screen and be like how can everyone in this drama be so cute and then get hit back to reality a moment later realizing they aren't real people and this is just a drama (this is the only sad part). The cutest part of this drama is Yi Chan and Cheong Ah, both as a couple and as an individual are written and acted so well that you will start loving them both right from the start and till the end.
The basis of the story is about not giving up on yourself even if everything seems to be breaking apart and you find yourself destined to fall. Another great message is that no one other than yourself can live your life for you so you shouldn't let things hinder your mind and just live your life the way you like it. All the characters be it Eun Gyeol, grandma, Yi Chan's friend Eun Gyeols's brother, or Eun Yu, etc. just fit the role so well that I think whoever came up with the casting seems to be from the future๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. The music is awesome, the flow of the story is really smooth and well-directed, and the cinematics and contrast between different environments, situations, timelines, etc. are well handled to the point that it just blends without being noticed into the whole drama. This show also tells how not knowing someone's suffering doesn't mean one can assume that they are okay, not all sufferings are visible everyone either is still fighting or has already won the battle with their share of suffering. My favorite character in this drama was Yi Chan due to how kind he was, and how well he could blend in with anyone and make the other party feel comfortable, he seemed comical yet without a doubt was the most responsible one in the drama and the way he treated Cheong Ah really sets an example of how green a green flag can be๐Ÿ’ž.
Watch the drama to find out who will become your favorite character maybe this drama might also end up becoming a great memory for you too.

Is marriage right for you?

This show explores several facets surrounding relationships giving importance to not just companionship but also the perspective of someone who doesn't want to get married. The story is not that well crafted but decently executed, can't blame them cause the meanings they want to deliver and that too through stories of different people doesn't give that much flexibility. Overall the show is a good watch if you like light romance, good acting, a meaningful story, and the actors involved in the show.

The show revolves around Jung Ha Na, a government employee who does not want to get married and enjoys her single life. She is transferred into a new department set up to get people married due to the declining birth rate. Circumstances lead her to Bong Cheol Hui an island bachelor who checks all the points from the avoid marriage list and the irony is that she had to get him married to get out of this new department. When things seem to go her way people from both their pasts come back and the chaos ensues. Will she be able to get him married and transferred to another department, or is something else awaiting her?

The are many things to like about the drama:
1. Bong Cheol Hui, is such a genuinely nice person, anyone who meets him melts from his warmth in the show.
2. The twins, were too cute yet mature for their age. They acted as our characters' guides, using their innocent remarks in various situations.
3. The dynamics between the leads, although I won't say they had the best romance but it was comfortable and peaceful watching them being comfortable and peaceful together. The way they thought and acted for each other conveyed a lot.
4. Finally, the most important things were the little yet profound messages that each of the episodes carried. If you are someone who likes stories filled with meaning and messages and not just exaggerated situations then this drama is for you.

Closing message (not related to the drama):
Whether you want to be single or in a relationship, you should always try to understand why they feel that way. If you are content being single then stay single, if you like companionship be in a relationship, but don't be in one while hating the other, or don't run if your insecurities, past experiences, etc. are what stop you from making choices. It's not just love rather the same can be said about every aspect of one's life. One should live the way they want to, without running away due to their trauma, fears, or insecurities or holding back due to fear of not being good enough or uncertainties, but rather try to become a better version of oneself in every aspect imaginable while living their life with a positive mindset. For example, if a person is truly happy, they will be happy alone and with people, no private or public situation can hold them back, rather than judging someone with different beliefs or forcing them to think a certain way, they will try to understand why the other person thinks that way. And lastly, everything in life is important, one's career, family, friends, romantic relationship, money, dreams, goals, mental and physical health, etc. Not even one of them is dispensable rather I can go all day long stating more such things to be added to that list. Try to find what you really want and what's keeping you from it, we all have one life why live with fear and sadness when we can live a happy and content life instead?

Unveiling the Beauty of Imperfection in You Are My Spring

Sometimes when I am looking for a drama to watch I occasionally meet some hidden gems like "A Poem a Day", "A Piece of Your Mind", etc. These do not have a really complex plot like you usually see in nowadays hyped drama, and also do not include heart-aching love stories which are just made too complex in the hope of getting more audience. Rather these dramas are like a slow song that you listen to when you want to relax, when you want to look at the world yet not get lost in it when you want to think yet want to feel positive about it, and so is "You Are My Spring". This drama centers around various psychological issues that people face in their lives, it shows the negatives as well as positives of life in a way that in itself gives you a really nice perspective on how to look at the world, how to look at people and how to look at situations.
Mostly all the characters in this drama have one or the other problems that they are struggling with or they have psychological issues due to the different pent-up emotions that they have. It is one of those rare dramas where you will love not just ML and FL but nearly all the characters, despite what they are facing or what they have faced they all are really nice people, especially the friends of ML and FL. These friends care for each other, fight for each other, stay for each other, and even leave for each other. Of course, ML and FL are still the best characters in the drama who to me seemed like 2 nearly perfect beings who have their set of flaws yet are one of the best pairs you will find. Both have the habit of shouldering everyone's difficulties onto themselves, they go out of their way to help other people and are both selfless. Here I was most intrigued by the ML in this drama due to how well his character was written off, you can clearly see that it wasn't a plot armor or magic, he was just really good at being a psychiatrist who had so much knowledge that he was as perfect as if he can see someone's past, present and future when he saw someone which was always backed by evidence and drawn from his experience.
If you like dramas like how I have mentioned above then please watch this one you will not be disappointed, you can take my word for that. It will not only make you interested in watching one episode after the other, it might become one of the stories which stay with you for life.
