And in one day its love

I started this show by accident, I had no plans to actually watch it. It was the BEST accident that has ever happened. Although, this review will be ongoing and is subject to change. I would say this is fast becoming one of my TOP 5 favorites of all time. I have not been disappointed by anything, the development of the story, or the lessons along the way. I always want more, I cannot wait for the next episode and sometimes it leaves me thinking of positive things I could consider within my own life. Can't ask for much more, except please hurry and show the next episode. :) So far I am in love!

Almost Love or was it?

I started out loving this show, it has all the makings for a great show! They were young and grew up together. All relationships have their ups and downs, but I thought the way it started would stand the test of time. He worked a lot and had a dream he was trying to accomplish to make their lives better and end the end she felt neglected. Instead, of doing the adult thing and talking about it you act out. Instead of accepting or trying to work things out you choose to put up a wall and hold your ground for what? To end up alone instead? I don't want to hear anything about it is good to have once love mess. Be an adult and don't play games if you love a person talk to them. Communication has been and always will be the key. To me it was never love if they were not even worth the time to communicate with. I would not rewatch this at all I felt my time invested was wasted. There was no lesson to learn just disappointment, I can live without that in the show.

I hear you

There were lots of moments in the story I was not a fan of the interactions of the FL main character. I felt she was missing character development. I understand that this is first love, but I could see and even enjoyed the growth of the dry, stern ML to his willingness to be vulnerable and show emotion. Even though the FL lead was the friendlier character of the two, I felt she never warmed up or grew when it came to their relationship.

When it came to her interaction with him, she actually seem as though she was not willing. There were moments where she did, the female banter of wanting to understand whether or not he liked her and wanting to express her self yet they never develop the character to show that. The handful of times that they had the moment of that special moment, she completely ruined it. No one is that shy I felt they took it just a little bit too far at some point she should’ve had a little bit of warming to him and she never did.

It was literally the very last moment when she decided to break up with him and not even tell him why, all of a sudden she wanted to be passionate towards him. Personally, I found that rather confusing it made no sense to write the character that way. Did she not like him? I did not like how at no point does she ever discuss anything with him. He asked her to tell him how she felt and there was nothing. Yet, she just made these decisions (in the name of love) that she thought she was in his best interest. If this is a love story, I felt it should’ve been developed into that. This felt like borderline like an unrequited love story all dressed up.

Our ML was clear, he was quite accomplished, and he said more than once all he needed was her why did they make her so dense? I am all for love and romance stories, and I am all for the sweet and an innocence but I do not like it when it’s taken to the point of just being silly. Running off in the airport having him sit there while his name is being called looking like he’s avoiding his flight never calling never texting never saying why. I just found it all plain rude, and then giving us only two minutes of you are my world, “THE END”. Yes, I can use my imagination as to what’s next it was a happy ending. Although, compared to the first 22 episodes that were pretty good storyline minus the confused emotionless growth of the FL. The last two could’ve been better. In my opinion, the last two did not meet the standard of the rest of the show.

Loved it, its a 10 for me! - despite the reviews

This actually caught me by surprise, I loved the story and the message it told. All things happen for a reason, she needed to be loved and therefore enters the ML Yung Goo. The one thing we all have to remember she was never lied to, she always knew who and what he was. She accepted him because of his genuine actions and that was the difference between him and Ma Wang Joon. Ma Wang Joon was too busy being a celebrity and had his head in the clouds. He could not separate real life from work. He never once chose her. It frustrated Ma Wang Joon because he had to watch and as Yung Goo always chose her. No matter what Yung Goo goal was, it was in her (Eom Da Da) best interest all the way to the end. The personal growth of the characters is the main point of the story. There had to be challenges in order to inspire them to develop into the people they are meant to be. This show did an excellent job showing pure love is necessary and that it will change people but only when they are ready to grow and accept it. It is a must watch and rewatch, I give it a 10.

Loved this

This is the perfect story of how things catch up with you. What began as an objective, ended up being the main goal of the whole story. This shows how dishonesty can taint a relationship and ruin everything going forward. Even when he was trying to correct his mistakes he could not because someone else was being dishonest and playing games it try to win the bride. I personally felt that Pei Yan Zhen (Zhoa Lin) and Song Xi Yuan ( Riley Wang) both were excellent in the roles they each played. I do not think there could have been a better cast choice. I personally loved the show overall and would say it’s a definite rewatch.
