Too Rushing
I actually watched this series 3 years ago but this is the first time I write review about it.If anything makes me like this series then it must be the build up, the tension between protagonist and antagonist is really high and pretty interesting, it makes the audience wonder how the series would go on. Sadly after that episode when Ahn Bo Hyun's character went to jail everything falls apart. The timeskip helped nothing, it just made the story more goofy and unrealistic, such as how in just few years the company of Park Saeroyi became a successfull one with the leader who is only around 23 years old, my gosh even Elon Musk couldn't pull that off. After that you get to see all the cliche of a kdrama like: Villians got cancer, kidnapping, a bribing proof from single person (Kwon Nara's character) lead to the collapse of an empire, MC wins just by luck, .... I mean seriously what did Park Saeroyi do so far, his plan failed after episode 9 and the rest is just pure luck that helped him win, this is what I call bad execution from a great build up and it happened because the crew were rushing to finish the series in 16 episodes, I believe this series could have been better, have they extended it to more than 16 episodes.
Actingwise I was impressed mostly by the villians, the father and son (Ahn Bo Hyun) played really well their roles, while Park Seo Joon had one of the most boring character in his career, he was totally outshined by Kim Dami, Kwon Nara was meh, not bad but also nothing special.
The music is actually the highlight of the series, even when the series turned so bad the music still got me, Itaewon Class is a series about young people and the music boosted the theme perfectly, I got hyped just by hearing the song.
Overall it's a mediocre kdrama with some spotlights in early episodes but crashed badly after episode 9, it's not worth of rewatching but it's still worth of recommending.

I tried this movie since I saw a Running Man episode with Choi Ji Woo as guest, I was fascinated by her charm and beauty so I give this film a try, to be honest not a great film of her to start with.I kind of like the way the story developed with the sisters, 3 story parts (for each sister) interwine with each other, it's interesting for the storyline but sadly there's pretty nothing else to praise about the story. The film ended with a very unconvincing lesson, and even more confused if you watch the end credit, which has some pictures about the sisters's fates, it felt like Lee Byung Hyun's character was some kind of love angel, only appeared to bring happiness to this family and then after the job's done he goes for another mission, it should be like that otherwise the plot would be pretty dumb, I mean how he went away after already married the youngest sister ? it just makes no sense .
Actingwise I think Lee did pretty well in the role of a Casanova, I'm pretty impressed to be honest since I only knew him from action films, Chu Sang Mi and Kim Hyo Jin did pretty good job too. Choi Ji Woo's performance is a bit off for me, the way she cries is too much, I think she has better roles in other films, not this one.
I won't talk about the music since I either don't care or I think it has no influence on the film anyway.
For anyone who wants to watch a nice romantic sex comedy or some best works of Lee Byung Hyun and Choi Ji Woo, I won't recommend this film (the sex scene is so so bad), but for anyone who wants to waste some time, this film is quite ok since it has only 100 minutes and you can sleep well after this (because nothing about this film wil stay in your head lol)

Best Korean Movie of All Time
I didn't watch too many South Korean movies to be honest, but even after watching some great films like Parasite, A Taxi Driver, Mother,..., this film is still my favortie of all time. The story is so well written, it started with some cliche criminal plot revolved around cocaine, drug but it impressed me when they brought children from poor family into the story. I was so moved watching how these children live and some even die, those things actually happen in real life and in my country (Vietnam), that's why I was so sastified seeing Won Bin's character killed them all, his action also came from the fact he really loves children, since his own kid passed away before the birth. From the opening with a small theft of a stripper, to the ending where the stripper's daughter has to say goodbye with the neighbor who is close to her like father, the script is a rollercoaster of emotion and well builded storyline, I totally love it.
The acting in this fim is tremendous. Won Bin transformed from drama MC to action hero was incredible, Saeron had her best role until now at the age of 10, and the villiains are on another level, the brothers and the Thai assasin stole the scene everytime they appeared, this film probably has one of the best acting in an action movie of all time.
I wasn't impressed with the music as much as story and acting but it isn't bad at all, still played its role nicely.
I watched this film around 10 times now, it's not only great film but also rewatchable film, believe me you won't feel sleppy even when you had watched it 5 times :)
