My thoughts..

Eventually i only felt bad annoyed for Kota. Being asked to pick up the pieces at the end.
Most of the mess would not have happend if : Hikaru moved on after she was really over Shin
Shin was the biggest troublemaker for me. A big loser also. I felt close to nothing after he died.
And Ran just went to far for a useless man. Even if she could walk just fine, Shin would have not married her out of guilt regardless. The actors did their best with what was given, but the story ended up being a chore to get through
