Excellent story...but that final episode *facepalm*

Okay so I've never written a review before, and just had to with this one because right up until the final episode, things were going well. I'd have given this a better score if it wasn't for the ML's "best friend" the infantile, over the top, and totally unnecessary (imo) Phong *double cringe*
Firstly, the story itself was lovely I thought, a little break from the usual scream-fest Lakorns I've seen before, and I've seen a lot in the past year since I started watching Thai dramas. I mean sure it was nothing new in terms of story line, but both the main leads sold it for me, and even though the FL started off as this angry and arrogant spoilt princess, we at least get to see what her motivation is. Plus she grew on me, and I actually liked her by the end of the drama. Also, compared to the usual simpering idiot with mush for brains, and not a single independent thought FLs in most of the Larkons I've watched, she was a breath of fresh air, since we're shown her reasons for being the way she is, for the most part. I've seen a few dramas with the ML, and finished all but one, which I plan on going back to finish, and I liked his acting in all of them. Their chemistry was really great, and for once, a grown woman didn't suddenly and annoyingly shy away from the man she supposedly loves and act like a pre-pubescent teen who's never seen the male form before, each time he came within touching distance (the FL in Jao Sao Jum Yorm and Wiwah Fah Laep comes to mind. Both great dramas...but the FL, Lord *eyeroll*) of her. All other side characters were watchable, and moved the story along, except the ML's best friend, Lord, where do I even start with this ham sandwhich? His acting SUCKED, I don't know how else to put it. He was hamming through the whole drama, and at one point I hoped the older villain would just do us all a favour and put a bullet in his brain to end my misery. From the beginning, all his scenes were stupid and unnecessary and his overacting did not help matters one bit. His presence in the final episode made me skip through most of the episode because there is NO WAY on God's green earth I will believe that a grown ass man will comfortably crash his BF's honeymoon and be completely oblivious to how intrusive that is, like serious WTAF? Was the writer high on paint thinners when he wrote this stupidity in? Who does that?? Okay...end of rant, lol.
Watch it for the mains and other side characters, but feel free to skip through all the scenes with Phong, I promise you're not missing anything that adds to the drama.
