I really enjoyed the ML finally not having a cold/emotionless trait, and one that gives his all that depicts more emotions in one show for a ML character I've ever seen in a Cdrama. Episode 11 was so raw and real, it had my chest feeling so heavy (I hadn't felt that way about a drama in a long while-and I've watched 100s of dramas).
And the chemistry was absolutely insane.
Glad I stuck through this one until the end. 10/10 everything and would rewatch many times.
(I'm not even a 'noona' romance lover, but why are these noona shows so da*n good? lol)

A very soft and fluffy sweet romance.
It was pretty good. I mean, no drama at all, I was surprised. A very soft and fluffy sweet romance. Just wished it was a little more quicker on the romance, it was a verrrrry loooong sloooow slow burn. I wouldn't watch it again, but the music and performances in it was pretty amazing. Even though it was really slow, I usually skip through a TON of scenes when I watch dramas, I didn't skip through any in this one, not even the 2nd and other character scenes. Was this review helpful to you?

Lots of romance/skinship/kissing!
Lots of romance/skinship/kissing and a beautiful ending! The FL in the beginning is so career-focused she doesn't see how much the ML loves her, but it isn't dragged out for too long or done in a way that's really annoying and frustrating. It's all fluffy/sweet/fun to watch. There's a couple episodes towards the end where the ML struggles with his feelings, but they don't drag that out either. One of the best romance Cdramas imo and underrated. 30 episodes, came out in 2022. The romance starts in episode 2 and it just never stops each episode. Was this review helpful to you?
It was a struggle to get all the way through to the end
My man didn't have 10 lives. He gotta go through 90 lives, because he had to have 9 lives for each life. How many times can you die without dying? Sifeng: Yes
lol
I tried really hard not to hate the FL the entire time, but it was frustrating af. I kept yelling, "AHHHH! JUST GIVE HIM TO ME THEN FFS!"
Luckily, the ML carried.
Once it finally got going, the chemistry was 🔥 Thankfully.
Also, if I had $1 for every time someone said 'Sifeng' in the show, I'd be a millionaire. I stg, I was hearing 'Sifeng, SIFENG' in my sleep for days while watching this.
My husband even nudged me asking me who this 'Sifeng' was because I said his name in my sleep. Show gonna get me in trouble! LOLOLOL
Was just so repetitive 😂ðŸ˜
I'd rewatch again, but definitely would skip through 2/3rds of it if I did.

This was such a gem.
Aw, loved this one. The FL was so cute and playful and the ML was so handsome and cheeky. Loved their flirty/teasing/dirty joke moments.Only thing I was confused about was the time span. From first to ep 15 it seemed hardly a month had passed (Pin was only 6 weeks from the start but when she got hurt she was still 2 months preg episodes later?), but then all of a sudden in the last ep, Pin's belly was huge and Nakarin said it'd been 'so many months' since he had her in his palm. That makes you look at it all differently. Wish they had been more specific or consistent about that part lol. If you watch it that way then it would be annoying, frustrating, dragging.
But I enjoyed it thinking only like a month or 2 had passed so they were still new and getting to know each other, which is understandable, not wanting to say love you and jump into bed with a technical stranger, especially someone that has severe trust issues with men (so I wasn't bothered too bad by that progress-their chemistry made up for it all).
In ep 12, that bed scene, I was grinning so hard my cheeks hurt. It'll be hard to get over these 2 ugh lol. This was such a gem.

Strong FL who does NOT give in
Strong FL who does NOT give in or love the ml or even show love for him at any point after he assaults her, until the very last episode (after he grows up/changes his attitude, after she knocks him down many pegs, and he finally realizes who the bad people are that set her up) -even doesn't show love for him until the timeskips-. She fights, bites, scratches, hates, doesn't let him touch her again, and never gives in after he did what he did. He also admits to it and everyone and feels remorse. He doesn't try to make it seem like what he did was 'ok' or justify it 'bc they're married' like other lakorns I've watched that do that.It was a good watch, I enjoyed it. The characters/acting was well done. Each episode never got boring, and I loved how she refused to let him control or own her.
The 'romanticize abuse' (When the story lines imply that women want to be abused sexually, physically, psychologically, or emotionally and they will fall head over heels in love with the abuser.) is a false tag. The FL does not let him even look at her in a loving way until the timeskips at the very end. Each time he'd try to sneak, even just laying in bed with her, she'd beat the hell out of him and kick him out. And he wouldn't dare lay a hand on her without her permission, and if he tried, she fought back, until the end. Unless, it's because she did eventually fall in love with him in the end after he changed. If that's what puts people off from watching this, then don't worry, you only see 15 mins of happiness between the fl and ml in this and many years later lol. But for me, I enjoyed the FL hating and beating on the ML until the last episode, it was satisfying to watch... coming from someone who has been SA before.

Disappointing. No Chemistry.
Disappointing how mild this was. Didn't feel the chemistry at all. Even after many years and they're in their mid-late 20s it still felt like they were acting like innocent teenagers. They lived together for over a year, how can you still act shy and awkward, like you hadn't kissed each other before and grew up together? Didn't feel any of that from this. The child actors that played them did a better job than they did .But I loved all of the other versions so I had to watch this one. Not sure if it was worth it or not.
The kisses (a whole 3-wow) got even more awkward and cringe. I'm going to have to rewatch the Cdrama one to get over my disappointment and annoyingness. And the 2 scenes where they 'slowly touched each others' faces', their hands shook so bad it even made me uncomfortable. They both could have done so much better. They didn't seem comfortable with each other at all, and I love both the ML and FL as actors. Sad.

Fell Short in Gaming and Romance
I love e-sports romances/dramas but this one was annoying. There was no chemistry between the ML and FL at all. There was more skinship/chemistry between the ML and his ex-gf throughout the entire show (present and in flashbacks). And I think this is the FIRST drama after watching 100s that I wanted the FL with literally anyone except the ML. I only got the 'good friends' vibe from them the whole show. 2 really awkward kisses and too much 'my ex-gf needs me, she's #1 priority, but wait for me when I'm done with her'.... just ew. Also, a sx assault scene that was completely ignored/overlooked like it never happened. The ML beat the sht out of him and destroyed his car, but next scene the guy is fine and no one talks about it??? ok.Besides the ending/last episode, it felt like the gaming-side was also lacking. If you like annoying triangles and angst, you'll enjoy this one, but it was just overly done imo.

Note to self: Add episodes 17 & 19 to my rewatch list - You're Welcome
Okay, so, I came into this show after reading a TON of bad comments/rants about it so I didn't have high expectations. The first couple episodes, I was like "okay, that was spicy, this seems like it'll be better than I thought." But then the spice just died right out for the next 15 episodes. I was dozing off, fast-forwarding, eyes rolling into the back of my head.
Then episode 17 came out of nowhere and I was like 'DAYUMMM, okerrr, I see you, we're getting somewhere."
Then 18 came along and I was like "okay what kind of shit is going to fk it up and ruin the whole happy atmosphere, then 19 came back and was like "haha you thought BAM DAMN WHAT DID I JUST WATCH HOLY SHIT THIS IS AWESOME. Glad I stuck through this."
Then I read in the comments here NOT to watch 20-28 because it's boring and lame and bla bla silly trope flying in, but I'm not gonna lie, I enjoyed those episodes more than the 3-16 lol. Like I actually stayed awake and didn't have the urge to fast-forward so I'm glad I didn't. But I love drama and get bored with silly fluff.
The ending was how I HOPED it would go, but still felt like it fell short somewhere. Idk where, but it just did. I actually enjoyed it overall and giving it a 9/10.
I also don't get the complaints about her hair, but 'beach waves' is the style where I live so I love that rugged wavy style lol.
ML is super hot as ever imo. Chemistry was lit, so I was overall glad I didn't skip out and watched this one all the way until the end.

A lot of awkwardness between the ML and FL, it was hard feeling any chemistry between them at all. Only romance was the last 2 episodes. No skinship at all and only 3 kisses the entire show. I love the FL's other shows, but in this one it's hard not being annoyed and frustrated at her character. All of her thoughts: omg I love him so much. How she acted: ew, he's so gross and annoying. It was just way overdone and drawn out for way too long.

I really struggled to get through this season. This season is just a literal copy/paste of season 1... just a new 2nd ML fighting over the FL. She travels back in time to when he doesn't know her, yet this time she's been wiped of her memories as well, but she still has to collect his 'hormone' so is required to make him fall in love with her all over again. Then after a dreadful almost 20 episodes of this, he finally does fall in love with her and then boom, her memories are wiped of him yet again and then he has to try to get her to fall in love with him all over again. It's a slow and dreadful 27 episodes of this. It felt more like a remake instead of a part 2. Other shows that have done this (ie: Eternal Love) made it unique enough to feel 'different', but his one just didn't.I was really hoping in this one it would only drag on half the season and we'd get some happy family moments, but yet again, only the last 15 minutes of the very last episode showed them happy with children. It would have been awesome to go through the pregnancy/delivery process and add some drama with the kids. I mean, it would be interesting to see how they were as toddlers trying to control their powers and stuff, but no it skips right until they're kids and can already control themselves. Oh well. If there's a season 3, I hope it doesn't have the 'memory loss' in it again and can actually have some fun/drama with their half-alien children.

Hard to watch... Frustration level 10/10
No chemistry. Not even one kiss.FL was hard to like.
Story was all over with too many loopholes (ex: in early eps said cat was spayed/fixed, last couple eps said cat needed to get married and have babies? huh? lol.
Also, they literally exposed their relationship in front of everyone at the concert in later eps, but in the end she wanted to 'hide it from co-workers??' made no sense. How are you going to hide it when you just told everyone 2 episodes before? They were all there, in the audience, cheering them on? Sooooo... what? lol
FL acted like she wanted to punch poor Zhaolin through the entire series and acted like she wanted to throw up anytime he'd touch her. The whole time I felt like she hated him, even up until the very last minute. Weird and awkward show.
The 5.5 stars were all for Xing Zhaolin, because he always gives 100% no matter how bad the script is.

A Hidden Gem
Had many of the most memorable moments out of any show I've watched. I laughed, I cried. It was soo good. The acting/characters/chemistry was 10/10.*BIG SPOILERS*
The ML is actually much richer than her, but he hides it for reasons. If you keep watching it, it's an amazing show. Towards the end, the FL breaks down after she realizes everything he's done for her and that she had loved him from the beginning too. The makeup box scene had me absolutely bawling. She was always his protector and he was always her supporter and did everything to make her happy. He goes through a thousand misunderstandings, which I'm very glad the FL understood and forgave each of these fairly quickly and it wasn't drawn out. She straight up would say 'I know you didn't actually do this and aren't like this, but I need evidence/proof so go get it', and he would get it every single time. (There's one scene towards the end where she thought he was doing bad things with Jack, but they 'were' sneaking around (because Jack was helping him run his rich business), he was lying to her and she knew it and she's far in her pregnancy, having nightmares, paranoid, so ofc she has a 'you're really gay aren't you' moment, but it's obvious she doesn't actually believe it and that lasts like a second lol). He worked his a$$ off nonstop to make her happy and to be there for her every time she needed someone.
To the sensitive stuff:
I know the beginning is hard for some to watch because she was wasted and he was barely drunk, but she was practically ripping his clothes off begging him to 'give her a baby'. Like excuse me, she literally GRABS HIS CROTCH and says 'this is not fun sized, no this is a family pack, give me babies! I'll do it myself' and jumps on him after 10 minutes of him saying 'no' 'stop' while she tried to rip his clothes off and no one is talking about that??? (Think. If this was a guy doing this to a woman while he's drunk, saying give me a baby so that's not okay, but her literally ripping his clothes off, grabbing his d*ck, jumping him, kissing him, pinning him down on the bed, pinning his face into her boobs, kicking him when he tries to run out of the room, and then tying him up with a scarf before dragging him into the bathtub, this is all 'ok' because she's a female that's drunk. So, he's bad, but she's not? They were both assaulting each other, they're both victims of each other, and both were secretly in love with each other.
But it only takes a couple episodes and you can tell she already loved(s) him (her thought bubbles are like 'how are you not getting that?' 'Ask me to marry you!" etc), but she never acted on those feelings because she wanted a 'high profile, rich husband'. And that's why he worked so hard for 8 years to be the rich husband she wanted. I feel like too many people are judging this and missing out on this amazing gem. Cutest, happiest ending ever!
