As I was finishing the series, I initially thought about not writing a review. However, the actors delivered such outstanding performances that it would feel disrespectful not to acknowledge them.
I enjoyed the storyline up until around episodes 7 or 8. After that point, it started to feel rhetorical and repetitive. Jack and Joke's love story was so brief, it left me wanting more. The fighting scenes, on the other hand, felt excessively long and dragged out.
Another missed opportunity was the introduction of love stories among some characters that were never fully addressed. It’s disappointing because the series had so much potential to be truly great.
That said, the cast was excellent. This was my first time seeing Yin and War, and I can confidently say they were fantastic.
