Best C-drama with the best OST 2024
This drama was an absolute masterpiece from start to finish. The scenery, the OST - especially the song "You are Everything" by Saji and Hooleeger, the talented cast, the impeccable settings, the captivating romance, and the well-crafted plot - there was never a dull moment. Even the side characters were excellently portrayed. Believe me when I say this is one of Xukai's big breaks. Like this drama is so so good. Top notch.I was a bit apprehensive when I saw Xukai taking on a more mature role, but he exceeded all expectations and showcased his amazing versatility. The chemistry between Xukai and Seven Tang was wonderful to watch. In fact, all the actors, including the skilled portrayal of the villainous characters Cheng He and Zeng Di, delivered outstanding performances that really drew me into the story. They acted so well that I ended up hating them.
The ending was perfectly paced and didn't feel rushed at all. The special episode provided a satisfying conclusion, though the death of the character Han Ting due to old age was heartbreaking. Him using the forgiveness card on Ji Xing once more before dying made me burst into tears. The bittersweet nature of the finale struck the right balance, as not every story can have a completely happy ending. We got to see Han Ting and Ji Xing's happy moments, their marriage, pregnancy, kids, and them growing old together.
I also adored the cute cat character Dahuang. Even the Mother and Son duo (Lu Linjia and Mrs. Han). They were the comedy part of the drama 😹😹😹. While I had some minor quibbles with certain characters' storylines, such as not being able to see more of what happened to the villains, Cheng He and Zeng Di, after they got investigated. They deserved harsh punishment, especially Zeng Di. I also felt like Huang Wei Wei's storyline was left unfinished - she deserved punishment too. I didn't like how Wei Qiu Zi's story was written off, but I liked her a bit despite her flaws. I also wished for more scenes with Li Li and Su Zhi Zhou in the special episode - they deserved more screen time!
Overall, this drama deserves a 10000000/10 rating from me. It had everything - drama, comedy, romance, family, friendship, business, breakup, colleagues trust, relationships, lots of kisses, both happy and sad moments. This drama has everything you want and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an impactful and well-crafted viewing experience. I don't think there will be any drama like this, honestly but let's look out for more upcoming dramas.

A Diamond in the Rough ?❤️?
Eiii!!! I am thrilled beyond words that this incredible drama has reached its conclusion. It surpassed all my expectations and truly captured my heart. The pairing was so unexpected, yet it added a special charm to the storyline. Let's take a moment to appreciate Uhm Tae Goo's deep, mesmerizing voice and his ruggedly handsome features. Oh, he's absolutely irresistible! And Kim Hyun Jin, who reminds me so much of Park Hyun-sik, brought another layer of depth to the drama.Every character in this series was a delight to watch. Man Ho and Jae Su's hilarious antics had me in stitches, especially Jae Su's mispronunciations and quirky interpretations of words. Even the secondary characters, like Prosecutor Jang, who initially annoyed me, won me over by the end.
I could go on and on about this drama and how adorable each character is. Let's not forget about Kang Gil, who, despite being one of the villains, managed to steal my heart with his undeniable charm. While I thoroughly enjoyed the series, there were a few flaws that caught my attention.
1. The awkwardness of the kisses between the ML and FL
2. The questionable decision to make us like the Kitty Kang leader with his initial cuteness 😒
3. The unnecessary interruption during the intimate moment between Il yeong and his wife in the final episode
Overall, I adored the friendships portrayed in the drama, like Seo Ji Hwan and his kids, and the heartwarming bond between Man Ho and Eun Ha (chuckling in "Hey, little mouse"). Witnessing his transformation from her biggest hater to one of her biggest supporters was truly heartening. I wholeheartedly recommend this drama to anyone looking for a solid 10/10 viewing experience.

What the hell did I just watch?!
I'm utterly perplexed by this drama - the plot is needlessly convoluted! The talented cast deserves better material. Honestly, I'd love to see them shine in a different drama, but this one misses the mark. To those who find this drama acceptable, I suggest seeking a reality check or professional help. Two-timing is never justifiable, no matter the circumstances. I'm only giving this drama a 4/10 due to the actors' efforts, but I cannot recommend it to anyone. Was this review helpful to you?

One of the best drama but the ending was so rushed, IMO ?
Honestly, I was totally obsessed with this drama at first! The cast was amazing, the cinematography was stunning, and the soundtrack was everything! The villains delivered impressive performances, making me love to hate them, lol. But around ep 22, things started to drag. I mean, Liu Mian Tang got her memory back and suddenly everything was just so... slow. And don't even get me started on Prince Sui. I was expecting this epic arch-nemesis, but he just ended up being a mama's boy. Like, what even was the point of their revenge plot? They could have easily done off with him from the first episode, duhhhOn the other hand, Marquis Zhennan was EVERYTHING. His humor was on point and kept me going even when I wanted to give up. And can we talk about Xue Ji and He Zhen's character development? I was so here for it! He Zhen went from potential rival to a loyal friend.
But, sadly, the drama just felt so rushed. Like, what happened to Prince Sui in the end? And his adopted daughter, Ms. Sun? And Lord Huaiyang's sister - why didn't she divorce that trash husband? The sudden dethroning of the puppy king and his mother without resistance was also unconvincing.
So many questions left unanswered. I'm giving it 9.5/10, mostly because of the amazing cast (WCR and ZWY, I'm looking at you!). They made the show worth watching, even if the pacing and plot fell short.
