Got her lickback and then got her man

Kang Ji-won is one of my favourite mfl’s ever
Yoo Ji-hyuk’s dedication NEVER wavered and I love him for that (and his visuals)
Hui-yeon is my goddess
Mrs Yang finally traded her dutty husband for some eye candy (that man was so ugh idek how to phrase it, he’s just yummy)
Eun-ho was bearable when he finally got a clue
Park Min-hwan is— sorry, *was* the embodiment of the dirt on my shoe, and I hope the flames are consuming him in the fiery pits <3
Jeong Su-min is a crazy whore and can burn in hell, a correctional facility is way too good for her <3
I pray on my knees that Oh Yu-ra is engulfed by Lucifer’s fire in eternal suffering <3
Both Su-min and Ji-won’s living parents can burn in hell <3

This was such a smart plot line with *perfect* casting and amazing pacing throughout most of the show (it got a bit messy towards the end). The first episode *immediately* pulls you in and encourages you to keep watching. I love the revenge plot, I love the collaboration, I love the romance and how it actually helped the mfl protect and better herself, I love the physical intimacy, I love the female friendships (except 1 obvi), I love the craziness of it all. I just love this show!!

But I do think that the show could have commented on the theme of domestic violence in long-term/committed relationships and its statistics: if Ji-won didn’t die by her husband’s hand, then Mrs Yang would have without outsider intervention. I think it speaks to how common domestic abuse is. I wish the show shed light on that, but I do know that they are still quite conservative when it comes to speaking on certain matters.

one of my first ever dramas and it didn’t disappoint

I thought the plot was really unique and I absolutely loved it.
really appreciated the character development.
loved the comedy element
I liked the romance at the start but then nearing the end, I found the main couple so annoying.
I wish the mml (Rowoon) spoke more, it didn’t sit right with me that he was such a bland character.
I am forever grateful that this show introduced me to Lee Jae-wook in 2020

This show was a really good introduction to K-dramas for me, and gave me more incentive to find more. Jow, here I am

The show would’ve really benefited from being at least 2 eps longer.

I literally hate everyone in this show (apart from 2 people).

Jisoo was stupid(ly weak) and a sex trafficker, so minus points for that.
Baegyul was stupid(ly ambitious) and an aspiring sex trafficker, so minus points for that.
Mr Lee assisted in sex trafficking but went out with a final bang — still minus points, though.
Kwak Kitae would definitely be an incel irl, so his minus points are so large, they’re touching the floor of hell.
Jisoo’s dad is a pathetic wasteman.
Justice for Minhee.
That home room teacher didn’t deserve all this trouble.

I don’t think I’ll ever watch this show.

Absolutely smashed it

It’s been a while since I watched it.

I love the mfl, literally everything about her.
I love the mml (even though his acting was quite stiff).
I love how they’re married irl.
I love the found family
I loved the plots and schemes ? (of the good guys, not the dutty general, he can burn in hell)
I love the explained family dynamics
I love the comedy
I love the main romance
I love her committed bodyguards
I hate her family
I hate the side romance — every time they had a scene I put it in 1.5x speed (cause Netflix directs have 2x)
I’m happy the second male lead died.
The ending could’ve given me way more than it did cause what the he’ll was that ?
