Turned a complete 180 with the ending

My god, it has been a long time since my blood boiled with k drama cliched ending.. I was reluctant to watch this. But I liked the setting and some reviewers say the end episodes were not great but they are not downright awful.
That's why I gave it a shot and I enjoyed it as long as the secrets were not fully revealed.
After she regains her memories she becomes an awful character. She discards ml's feelings like trash . So, when she remembers that she was indirectly responsible for the very beautiful ( atleast 10×hotter that the current fl) ml's 1st love, she dumps him . She again restarts the relationship ,then again dumps him because what?. She can't stay here as she is not getting any roles. Instead of trusting eachother and keeping long distance relationship and get through it together, she just dumps him like he is her tissue paper. Dumps whenever pleases. So sad. Whats even more cringy is that after 2 years of abroad she suddenly comes back and the guy is still begging, now on a different level. He says " I should have bagged you like a dog to stay together when you broke up with me". Why??. Can't a man have self dignity???. It's not like he didn't try!. He clearly said whatever problem arises, we will go through it together. But no, out deity female empowerming lady has to look cool. We are shown, how ml can't forget her and zero scene about her regretting but suddenly we are supposed to believe that she misses him???. Like are we dumb or what..
They completely butchered the ml character. The 1st breakup was necessary but 2nd one was just introduced to make ml look pathetic and serving dog and fl look empowering and cool.. I would have still forgiven this if the fl was the one begging and ml giving a cold shoulder at first,, but no. ML is begging like a dog while he was the one who was stabbed in the back and fl is the one who broke their promises many times and cooly left him hanging,,, wtf is this,,, I might explode in anger,, they butchered both the leads for what? creator's own sense of feminism or something else ,, It is hard to undertand why k drama has this cancer,,,
I was actually thinking they will go in this path
After it was revealed that he was dating his ex's friend and whole media jumps on them
1. They share their story to the world through media
2. ML's never forgetting ex was a big issue but it was never resolved in the final version. This should be main focus in last few episodes.
3. ML delivers the message his ex wanted to give to fl.
4. No infuriating 2nd break-ups and happily married. With children in the epilogue.. yeah.
But no, it's fuckkkking k drama.. they will hook you with very promising story and kill you with frustration near the end with unnecessary noble idiocy and breakups and ml's character butcher. I mean we have seen this happen again and again.. please stop..
I dread starting romance k dramas. I always check the ending if these problems are there or not. spoiling yourself ruins the excitement in a way , so i watched this show without spoiling my self too much.. what i get as a result? nothing but frustration and regret. That's why in my top watched romance dramas, c dramas are more in number .. It is really very sad considering k dramas generally have more intriguing premise,,,, waste

Undeveloped main romance

What a waste of a good ml. They had very less screen time and zero physical intimacy.
Believe me or not, fl had more kiss scenes(full french style)with the 2ml/ex husband than ml.
That's saying something.
Revenge wise it is good.
But if you are in for good 2nd chance romance, then you would be highly disappointed.

Shonen and shojo beautifully mixed

It's great.. s1 was fantastic and S2 ends on a satisfying note
.
I don't like how fl cheated on ml.(Not actually, it is my personal opinion). Spoiler. She kissed the 2nd ml. Even though their lips barely touched and 2nd ml was unconscious. I hate how the writers just made the whole saving 2nd ml, part with the purpose of have them kiss...
What's more laughable is that, it is celebrated how apparantly no one(man) gets closer to fl except ml.. but she kissed another guy, hugged the same guy multiple times...
Her interactions with the other MLS, did not change much from S2, it specially becomes worse with 2nd ml..
This is the only personal grudge I have against this show which I might re-watch anytime because it is very hard to come but a action fantasy love story which is good

Hypocrisy at its peak

I hate this propaganda series.
The premise says that ml and fl both had prejudice against the opposite sex. But it the fl's hypocrisy and hatred towards the opposite sex that is the main focus point of the show. So she fucked around 100+ guys for whatever reason. Apparently she picks out bad guys and sleeps with them then dumps them for revenge or something.. basically she is a sex addict and loves twisted guys. When reporters surrounded her and questioned her behaviour , guess what her answer was?.
Apparently, she was buying vegitables from the market.. she was trying the find the true one by sleeping with as much guys as possible.. wtf????.
The ml is simp. Typical trope " different from other girls" " ready to give up everything for a slut"

Look I am all for flawed main characters, but that flaw should be seen a flaw by the show and rectified by the end. here the supposed flaw is celebrated by cast.. they telling you that a sex addict independent woman is the definition of a modern woman..
How much brainwashing has been done to the society that this show is rated this high.
It is the funny the flag bearers of feminism are becoming what they supposedly hate the most- female version of a womanizing bad guy.. sad

Saved by the unique lead chemistry

This drama started with aim of being romance suspense thriller which deals with psychological issues. 1st few episodes also felt like that. When I watched this I enjoyed this because I needed a relaxed romance free of evil mother/father , terminal illness, noble idiocy of separation, creepy 2nd leads etc. romance in this shows ticked all the boxes and the leads had great dynamics.. they are very likable.
But, after taking closer look it feels like the creators ditched every other genre except romance as the show progressed. Like
1. We have female lead, who is pretty f'ed up as she dates only trash guys and been with many men over the years. Reason given is that her father used bit up their mother ( the crazy father trope , very common) . So she has tendancy to like trash lunatics and she tries to fix them by being in a relationship. Very interesting and broken gray character! R8?.
Well no, she seems like pretty decent and likable person through the show. There is no growth. Her questionable characteristics are never explored
2. The ML has a better character arc, as in he starts somewhere and ends somewhere else. Basically he has change or growth. Though the change is not that impactful. Basically he starts value his own life a little more by the end of the show. Similar to fl , we are never exposed to non existent past love lives.. it was just mentioned that he had an ex apart from the " ex wife" which is quickly shut down by the fl's declaration that she dated 100 men . Whatever that means.
That what drives me crazy. They are not pure to act like high schoolers in love. And also the 1st love childhood connection!. Why??.. that just makes the guy look like a dork
3. One of the most wasted characters are the eun hu something girl , bestie of fl. 10 years of dating ended by noble idiocy.. I thought they will give a better story than " your brother has been in love with me all along , so I fucked him" arc.. so full of shit.
4. Most wasted part is definitely the thriller part. I just couldn't give a shit about the thriller part by the end.
So, if you want a romance which is not full of angst and charming, definitely give it a try. It also has good comedy.

Ruined by noble idiocy

Yeas, the angst kicks in after ep 10. Up until this episode, the show can be described as " mocking expections" which was so refreshing and fun.
But after 10 ep, it became cliched shit.. along with comes a must have k drama 2nd lead.. so boring . The never kissed her in 3 years despite doing flirty stuff..

All about pure emotions and almost perfect scary topic

MAJOR SPOILERS::
I loved it. I am more satisfied with the end shot of the couple's biological child. Call me selfish..
GOOD THINGS:
The acting from both the leads were great. At first both leads come across as cliched but episode by episode you see there character layers peeling off. ML comes off as typical simp , the yeS mam guy. But he also expresses his displeasure when needed. There are many other good things like the very funny ml's future brother in law. There are webs of misunderstandings but these are not used for superficial angst but sometimes sadness, anger, jealousy and comedy. That's great.
QUESTIONABLE IDEALS:
My personal the main issues of the show is the idea behind the 1st child itself . It's funny how the rape sequences happened the same way 2nd leads in dramas takes the drunken fl home and tucks them them sweetly.. lol..
Anyways, she was raped half drunken. I think she has enough consciousness to know what happened and easily could have taken preventive pills. I am no way blaming her for the rape itself but the consequence of the child. There are enough days between intercourse and formation of any kind of life that can be considered human.
I like that she admits that she sometimes hates the child due to the reminder of the forced sex. But asking your husband to not hate(even once) the rapist's spawn!. I think that's too much. Does she also expect him to love his actual child(in epilogue) equal to her first not more.. that's impossible..

One of the greatest romance stories

As the title suggests, this drama will go in top romance dramas with crazy chemistry and skinship. I would love to express my personal feelings for story and characters. Remember my views can differ from popular opinion.

Story is simple, we have a girl who was abandoned in the desert living with wolves, later picked up by a man who adopted her. After her dad was killed she returned to roam with her wolf pack. One day she meets two men. First one is very handsome guy with leg disability and other one is a charismatic guy. Both falls for her at 1st sight. Though, the 1st guy doesn't show it. Then she meets both the guys again in the same dynasty. She first meets the handsome guy and she falls hard for him. She tried to express her feelings for him but the guy pushes her away every time they get close. This goes on for few years. After repeated rejection , she leaves for the desert again where upon spending a lot of time with the charismatic guy(2nd guy) , who is very open about his feelings , she falls for him too.
Then we follow this love triangle.
Let's go to the characters
1. Handsome guy(1st guy): his character arc is very much tragic. He had heavy responsibilities from childhood and along with disability and infertility. So, understandably he is very reserved and hides his feelings. I had no problem with his character until the last 3rd portion of the show. 1st portion is his repeated rejection and noble idiocy. 2nd half is his regret for treating FL as child and not being honest with her. In the 3rd portion, he goes full on sacrifice mode. I pity his 2 followers.. I will be very honest here, I was never on board with his romance line. It felt too much one sided. More of father - daughter relationship.
I have personal grudge against him for taking liberties with fl too times. One time was, she was sleeping. I believe that Love should not come from pity. But that's what I feel about him most of the time .
2. Charismatic guy: Now we have the potentially pathetic character who did not seem pathetic with the amazing acting by the actor. He was brought up pretty well and has sense patriotism, very loyal to the kingdom and his uncle and not a fool with muscles. I love this concept of randomness in the romance lines here . I am very much sure that she would have fallen in love with any of the two guys who met her 1st. His character could have been very simp type if not acted properly. He has his moments of sadness from unrequited love. The scene of him standing under the tree abandoned was very effective. He can be little unlikable at 1st with his not so " gentlemenly" ways to get physical with her. But she allows it and seemingly falls for him without even knowing. That's what most sad about him . The girl was pretty much happy with him and she knew how he feels for her and yet she never forbids him seriously while seemingly in deep love with the other guy. So when she goes full on crazy after coming back to the city and knowing " how much and why the 1st guy did" . I will talk more about this on our heroine's section. Other than romance part, he is pretty much typical war hero character who wins every battle. I don't mind that because I was totally rooting for him due the crazy chemistry and zero noble idiocy from his part.
3 FL : Here comes the character whome I love and hate. Her character was very entertaining until the angst kicks in with the 1st guy trying to win her over.
1st of all her instant fall in love with the 1st guy, didn't make much sense to me. Specially when the guy didn't give any positive signal. It may to pointed out that 2nd ml also fell hard for her and always looking for opportunities to be with her. But here is the difference, in his case she responded. Just look at their interactions. Do they seem like without any romantic feelings. She seemed like she was just keeping the 2nd ml for spare part. When she accepts the 2nd guy and starts completely disregarding his feelings but physically intimate with the 1st guy(hugs, bites, kiss) , I was very annoyed with her selfishness. Her feelings very vague about the two guys throughout the show. Actually, there is no " I love u" from her to the 2nd guy. I can tell from her actions that she deeply loves the 2nd guy even though she has feelings for the 1st. Only scene where she confronts her feelings are at the field scene where she breaks down saying that her actions are hurting both the guys , but she also extremely conflicted and in pain. But I don't think that's enough. I was seriously interested in know her feelings for the guys.
As for the ending, very satisfying happy ending for the main couple but the ending was not earned by the couple . They mostly got it because of noble idiocy sacrifice from the 1st ml.

Ridiculously overrated

My god, I always watch dramas after a lot a research on it. This has very high rating . 1st episode was also good..
But I just can't continue now. ML has literally one expression through out show. Do blind people not have other expressions.. I live for character chemistry and acting that makes me feel things.. this is one of the high budget bad acting that I have seen . Especially the ml. He is supposed to be in for romance but it doesn't feel like it..
I don't want to rant but the disappointment I felt was bad....
And we have bunch of gods who interferes whenever they feel like... stupid

Wasted potential

Let's review the premise: out main character is a doctor in psychiatry hospital who is very farm about her job and for last 5 years remained single due her boyfriend' sudden dissapearance. She met a 6 year younger psychiatrist who has lower income than her and is a bit ecentric in nature.
Doesn't this sound very familiar. That's because this plot is very similar to " witch's love" which came much later.
So years, romance part has a lots of potential..
The actors and dialogue totally destroyed that. ML is a charismaless babon..
It is like the fl is interacting with a child .. in witch's romance they had 14 years age difference.. but the chemistry and skinship was something to cheer for. There is not a single kiss scene.. even without any skinship, there is zero chemistry...
And the ending?!!! What was that??. Such insult for ml.. but women empowerment!!. Hehehe..

What happens when you forget the origin

1st few episodes were great. I was wondering why it was rated relatively low. This has all my fav settings.
1. A career older hot female lead who is not a pushover
2. Not a simp ml
3. Great chemistry with skin ship
But everything goes down the drain after the fl's ex comes back. Here, except point 2, every good thing disappears. Fl becomes oblivious, stupid, selfish and a pushover. Mp becomes a punching back.
As they were not together, naturally no skin ship...
They should have solved ex situation in few episodes, rather than dragging the whole thing

hypocritical feminism

i dropped this after ep 3. It is very hard to find non simp ml nowadays in romance stories.. here I thought ml was different,, but in ep 3 they dropped the pretense.. he is another simp.. we are supposed to celebrate that the fl had 5 failed relationships before the ml but the ml has to be virgin. not only that, all these years he always loved the fl from highschool.. wtf??? out of all the men she dated one was his own fucking uncle. Imagine he is havind bed excercise with her and his unlcle in in the house too.. lol.. pathetic..
my problem is not that she had many boyfriends but the in your face speach at the wedding " I failed 5 times that does not mean I have comitment issue, it is that i have learned from the past, i will find my happiness" but guess what! her future husband can't be a tainted item like her, has to be pure... my foot.. i would have watched this if they did not make the ml only for her and that stupid 1st love connection.. imagine the ml thinking about how find his girl for a decade while his girl was having fun with 5 " fully committed " relationships... yeah, she does not owe him anything to stay single but to tell me that a successful men stayed single for a fleeting moment and willing to accept the girl who was having fun while he was waiting for her and one those funs were with his own uncle.. yeah r8.. that's not believable...... make the man just like her an i will watch it with popcorn

more time and more dull

this drama started good.. event though the plot was nothing new, the characters were not dull(at first). but after fl discovers ml's indentity, everything goes downhill.. i came here after watching alchemy of souls,. In every episode, i would enticipate a cool from any of the leads... but u feel like the writers purposefully want to dissapoint you. one the worst wasted potential of cool moment is when dead ml comes back.. those who watched will know how stupid and dull it was... wasted potential

Unlikable main character

I hate indecisive female leads and I can't tolerate two good looking rich handsome guys fighting over a " not so charming" woman like dogs.. that dog shit of bull. I personally think it would have watchable if the 2nd ml was not there or the love triangle was not dragged till the end.
I know most people hates ml. I watched only 5 episodes and ml is the only character who can make you laugh. That breast scam scene!!. Omg. Ml's character is only interesting eccentric character that has some color. Fl is Mary Sue and 2nd is a good looking statue(= 0 charisma). Him falling in love with the fl was one of the cringest portion ever... If you want to watch a love triangle watch something like " sound of the desert" where fl falls in love both guys not because she is indecisive or a player or a dense character. Because of circumstances which she had no control over..
But here, it's so pathetic to watch.. gross

Feels very scripted

1st of all, I tried two times to get into the show because of how highly rated this is. But acting feels very scripted nothing natural. Why the ml pays attention to her from their meeting??. Was it something significant?. No. Because script says so. Actor who plays ml, I think is highly overrated. His acting is almost same in every show , be it fantasy or Modern. He looks quite good in historical dramas but acting wise, quite flat.(Same few expressions,). FL was ok. Nothing special...
I came for noona romance part, I don't feel the charm or spark that i get from other legendary noona romances(witch's romance, I hear your voice etc).
Sports wise , I wasn't interested.
So dropped
