yes but .... why ?
i really enjoyed this drama, but there were a few things that left me a little frustrated. some of the romance arcs felt unnecessary—like the one between porchay and kim. they were my endgame, and it felt disappointing that it didnt work out between them. the scenes i only cried in were with porchay in it haha, guess who my favorite was atp. since they only got like five minutes of screen time, i would have preferred they didnt spark a romance if there wasnt going to be a payoff. same goes for kims map thingy, which was just dropped. it left me wondering what even was the point ......on the other hand, kinn and porsches relationship was sooo cute. the episode in the woods was SO FUN. everyone was right about this show being steamy, but it wasn’t overdone or overwhelming. the major plot twist at the end was a bit confusing though. something about them being half cousins or something .... LOL? im just going to pretend that part didnt happen heh.
i also felt that vegas and pete got way too much screen time toward the end, especially compared to kim and porchay, which seemed like a missed opportunity.
overall, this was a fantastic drama! im nitpicking because it got me so invested, and even the parts that frustrated me added to the experience and made me love it more i guessssss.
pros:
the chemistry between kinn & porsche
the freaky scenes werent weird to watch
the drama pulls you in emotionally i fear
great episodes, cliffhangers after each
left a lasting impact, even with some plot flaws
cons:
unresolved romance....
weird screen time and priorities
confusing end/plot twist
LOADS of unnecessary relationships

disappointing amount of depth
i dont want this review to sound too horrible but, im not enjoying this drama .the plot starts off okay, but the chemistry between the leads feels forced. the male lead gets feelings for the female lead, despite forgetting her name. some of their moments are cute, but the connection feels unconvincing, and idk if i like it or not.
another issue is the lack of backstory, especially for the female lead. were four episodes in, and i still dont know if she has a family or who she lives with. theres no context or family presence, and most scenes take place either at school or in her room, where her parents are no where to be seen. the lack of background makes it hard to feel any emotional connection to her character
while the acting is decent, i cant engage with characters i know so little about. building that connection is essential in a good drama, and without it theres no reason to keep watching. the only reason i havent said yes to "are you dropping this title" is that the episodes are just 20 minutes long, with only eight in total so i guess im going to have to thug it out. i hope this drama picks up or something because i do want to like it and i was excited for it to release. but im not looking forward to the remaining episodes and honestly, if you havent started this drama yet dont waste your time and just watch something else

refreshing
this show is a cute pick if your looking for something light, youthful, and easygoing! i didnt go in with high expectations, and it delivered exactly what i thought - a shy romance with a sweet vibe. while the plot doesnt offer much beyond the romance, it holds up well if thats all you're after lol.the acting is okay, but the romantic chemistry between the leads felt a bit forced at times. the kissing scenes in particular, missed the mark for me... they felt more awkward than intimate, with the actors barely touching lips or looking fish-like. that said, they still managed to create some warm and enjoyable moments disregarding that.
overall, it’s a cute escape with just enough romance to keep you invested. not doing pros or cons just a nice, simple watch!

not groundbreaking, but definitely cute
this was quite a predictable movie, but sometimes you need a feel good romance that doesn’t try too hard to surprise you LOL. the start was a bit iffy because of the shy acting and such but im glad i stuck with it. the characters grew on me, and for a high school romance, it delivered exactly what i expected: lighthearted, sweet, and fun. its not groundbreaking, but it’s the kind of movie you can relax and enjoy without overthinking. perfect for when you’re in the mood for something simple and cute!pros:
characters are likable
sweet moments
easy to follow
great for fans of high school romance
low stakes
character development
pretty cast
cons:
slow start
lacks originality
predictable
not too much of emotional depth
overall, if your looking for something lighthearted and an easy 1 hr & 50m watch, definitely RUN to this

masterpiece.
i was hesitant to start this drama, but im so glad i gave it a chance. its truly a masterpiece and i would have regretted not watching this.the plot is unusual; kidnapping your ex from her wedding isnt exactly normal but did i like it?... yes... the storyline keeps you on your toes.
i initially watched this for woo do hwan, and he exceeded every singleeee one of my expectations. his performance here is one of his best. he conveyed his emotions so genuinely that i found myself crying SO many times. its no surprise this was created by the same writer behind its okay to not be okay, my alltime favorite drama. knowing they shared the same writers made me hit play right away.
every detail in this drama felt intentional and meaningful. a lot of people are mad about the ending and saying its sad but imo its bittersweet, which only adds to the emotional weight of the story. while part of me hoped for a happy ending, i appreciate the sadness, it made the drama even more impactful. i felt so attached to the characters because of the backstory we get to learn.
with all the actors delivering mature performances, avoiding the same old tropes of immaturity. that quality sets it apart. dare i say this is one of the best dramas of 2024.
ill definitely be recommending this drama to all my friends, if you haven’t seen it yet, i hope this review convinces you to watch. you wont regret it!
