interesting plot, sweet chemistry, but inconsistent
I understand the hype around this drama just from watching the first few episodes. It definitely has a unique essence in its plot of including age gap in the story. I initially found the series cute, although, for me, it didn't maintain its consistency. Some parts felt a bit boring and slow. There were also scenes that were overly sweet, to the point where they felt forced. That said, I have to commend the production for casting Zhao Lusi and Chen Zheyuan as Sang Zhi and Duan Jiaxu because their chemistry is excellent. heartfelt youth drama on friendship
I didn't expect to love this drama. At first, I thought it would have an ordinary story, but it turns out this drama is, if not the best, one of the good youth dramas I've watched. Lan Jinghui's character definitely brought the story to life. Additionally, the strong, unexpected friendship between the characters—especially Lan Jinghui and Ling Dong—shows that there will always be someone who brings out the best in you. Their kind of friendship is truly worth keeping. Although this may not be the absolute best drama, it's definitely worth watching at least once in your life. One of the things I really admire about this drama is the lesson on genuine care in friendship. must-watch for fans of youth dramas
When I Fly Towards You is undeniably one of the most adorable youth dramas out there. Su Zai Zai and Zhang Lu Rang make a cute couple, and their love story is as sweet as it is heartwarming. The series is a light romance but feels deep because of the strong connections between the characters.Aside from the main leads' relationship, the dynamic between the second leads, Gu Ran and Jiang Jia, truly caught my attention. Their chemistry is undeniable, and they feel perfectly matched. Sadly, they were given less screen time, with some of their scenes even unaired. Honestly for me, Gu Ran and Jiang Jia stood out more than the main leads. Gu Ran is irresistibly endearing. The way he looks at Jiang Jia—with pure admiration and sincerity—is nothing short of captivating. Gu Ran is definitely a green flag man.
This drama is a must-watch for fans of youth dramas. The characters share a bond that feels genuine and heartfelt, making it a truly unforgettable youth drama.

light-hearted, entertaining, with a good mix of thrill
I definitely had so much fun watching this drama! It wasn't just because my favorite lead couple, Zhao Yiqin and Li Jiaqi, starred in it, but also because the drama is light-hearted, entertaining, and has a good mix of thrill. Fake relationships or marriages are definitely one of my favorite drama tropes, which made Debit Queen even more enjoyable. I was easily hooked on the storyline, and the little arguments between the lead couple made it even more entertaining.This is also a great costume drama for beginners, as the story is not overly complicated, and the pacing keeps things interesting without being overwhelming. Its simplicity makes it easy to follow while still being captivating, making it perfect for those new to the genre. I’d recommend this drama to anyone looking for a fun and engaging watch!
