It is one the best I have seen.
It grows more complex and powerful with every episode.
The way the relationship between the three main characters evolved as their characters grew was realistic and moving.
The friendship, loyalty and love between the emperor and the doctress is built with layers of incredible experiences.
I know I will continue to re watch this drama again and again throughout my life.
The first time I saw this drama was a year and a half ago and I still think about the characters and their relationship with each other all the time.
It is also my favorite in regards to imagery.

I wish it were longer and so I’m excited about the sequel coming up. My only criticism is that I would like to see a little more development and epilogue at the end.
First time for me for Lun Deng and Yang Zi and I will now follow both their careers and watch other dramas with them. I’ll excited to see more of Mr. Puchi. He was so adorable.
I’m re watching it now immediately after seeing it the first time that is how amazing it is.

It is now one of my favorite dramas of all time. It really is at another level of amazing in comparison to many enjoyable and excellent dramas. It will be one of the stories I keep in my head with me for the rest of my life.
The most powerful and amazing part of this drama is the growth of the characters of Mulan and the Han Prince Duo Lan.
They were typical young brave and noble characters from the beginning of the film but they grew in an incredibly moving and realistic fashion with every experience they underwent. It was not just what they experienced that helped them become more complex and beautiful characters but the way they navigated those experiences and the lessons they learnt in reflecting the on the outcomes of those experiences.
What Mulan learnt in about strength and trust was as moving to see as what Duo Lan learnt about reforming his core values and humility.
It was clear that they could not have evolved the way they did unless without their inherent intelligence and compassion.
The drama used styling and imagery to show the evolution of the characters as well.
I was just completely impressed in every way and so happy with this film.
In regards to re watch value I am rewatching right now and enjoying it just as much.
