I wish I had that much free time in school.

I don't want to be too harsh on this drama for those people who actually like it. This is the first drama of Zhao Lu Si that I finished watching. I tried watching her dramas in the past, but end up dropping it maybe because of the same concept and character. I mainly watched this for Xu Kai Cheng, but after I saw how well Ren Hao played out his role, I'm just stuck to him. I came in this drama with no expectations at all and I'm so glad I have no expectations because I'll be more disappointed than this.

Story: 6/10 - Literally, episode 5 all the way to episode 11 have no plot whatsoever. A lot of the episodes were fillers and really unnecessary. They could've easily done this in 24 episodes or less. From the title of the drama, I really thought the majority of the episodes will be at the Imperial College, but nope. They weren't in school for more than half the drama. And, I wish I have that much free time during school. Like, go around pranking your classmates, running around campus, and falling in love with the Deputy Chief. Lol. JK. The outfits and styles were really pretty though. AND, can they just punish the aunt a little bit more? Sending her to the Cold Palace is not enough!

Acting/Cast: 7.5/10 - Of course a character like Sang Qi fits Zhao Lu Si well as she has played out these type of roles before. A lot of the comments said her character was stupid and naiive which I disagree with. Her character to me was smart and quick witted like our male lead Yan Yun Zhi. Their misunderstandings were all setup to catch the second male lead, Zhuo Wen Yuan. Zhuo Wen Yuan was manipulated by his aunt or maybe I'm just being bias. Lol. He's done too many evil deeds, so it's impossible to redeem him. Zhuo Wen Yuan and Song Jia Yin were the only couple that I'm looking forward to, but it's so sad that he died and nobody wanted to cremate his ashes except for Song Jia Yin; after all they are husband and wife.

Music: 8/10 - I like the ending theme song and Zhuo Wen Yuan's theme song sung by Ren Hao.

Rewatch Value: 6/10 - Probably not gonna rewatch.

Overall: 6.5/10 - It's pretty funny and the styles are good. :)

Watch this drama for the 2nd couple.

I really anticipated this drama when the posters and trailers came out. I guess I kind of set my standards pretty high after watching hit xianxias like TMOPB, Ashes of Love, and Love & Redemption. When I found out that this drama have only 36 episodes, I was kind of worried of how they're gonna tell the whole story and show all of her lifetimes (first red flag). But, I'm a sucker for Chinese dramas so I kept watching this drama (mainly for the 2nd couple).

Now I'm going to state what I like and what I dislike about this drama.

What I like:
- The 2nd couple's chemistry. This is probably the first time that I liked the 2nd couple MORE than the main couple. Their chemistry was on fire and I find myself squealing every time their scenes comes on. Their history/story was so interesting that it kills me every time I have to wait until their story unravels. The angst!
- The friendship of the trio. Dragon King, Xue Qian Xun, and Qing Qing's friendship is out of this world! Also, Dragon King's friendship with Immortal of Fate when he was still "nice". It's so sad when Immortal of Fate use XQX to fight against Dragon King.
- Female lead's 3rd life. Liu Ying's 3rd life as Feng Chen Yue has to be my favorite as it actually has a plot to it. I like how strong she is as she didn't need Dragon King's help that much.
- The bromance! I love the bromance moments between Dragon King and XQX! And QQ always having the honor of witnessing it.
- Deng Wei's natural acting. I find him very natural with his role. The way he can look so cold, but charming at the same time. I gotta add him to my list of favorite actors now. Considering this his first debut drama, he did really well! Hoping he will get more projects in the future as main lead.

What I dislike:
- The repetitive scenes, flashbacks, and story of the main couple. It gets to the point where it became boring. I find myself FF a lot of their scenes.
- I don't understand why the female lead never thought of asking Dragon King why he had to wait until their 4th life to be together (and she never finds out too?)
- Chemistry between the mains. I don't see or feel that much chemistry between female lead and Dragon King. They seem to have more chemistry with other characters that they interact with.
- No ulterior motive. The only character that has a goal was QQ. She was determined to get rid of the Meteor mark on her forehead. The other characters don't exactly know what they're doing. I know Dragon King's only goal was to protect Liu Ying, but wasn't he doing something else before meeting her?
- Logic? (but then again this is a drama) Liu Ying in her 4th life has powers. When she was climbing up a mountain, she slipped and fell, and kept falling... she could've easily fly. Or when Dragon King was trying to imitate the cat demon, can't he just say that it was a cat demon? (but that scene was hilarious).

Overall, this is an okay drama. I'll give it a good for the 2nd couple. It is more of a lower budget drama compared to TMOPB, AoL, L&R. If you like a light hearted, xianxia romace drama then I recommend. It has some memorable moments and funny scenes if you like a good laugh.

Cute countryside love.

I was super excited for this lakorn from trailers to soundtracks. I will always wake up super early to watch the FINS while waiting for subs.

Story: 8/10 - The first 5 episodes were really good, it was the foundation for everything that's going to happen later. 5 or 6 years later, Paeng came back to redeem herself. For awhile,  after her return, it was pretty good how Arthit is slowly falling for Paeng, but then the character Mark showed up. I find the story kind of boring after he showed up. (There were a lot of snakes in this lakorn).
Acting/Cast/Characters: 7/10 - The cast were amazing. Once again, Mark Prin's acting is so natural and good! He portrayed Arthit really well. From a caring brother to someone who has hatred in his heart who later realized the meaning of redemption and forgiveness. This is my first lakorn of Kao, so I'm only going to state my opinions based on this lakorn only. For the most part her acting is pretty good. Sometimes her acting were exaggerated, but that doesn't affect the scenes much. I honestly don't really like the character Paeng. She was stupid and easily manipulated. I think the only time I liked her was at the beginning before she gets sent away. But, after she came back, her personality suddenly changed. It was like a whole new character which I felt wasn't a smooth transition. (I also don't like how the main leads refer to each other as siblings like how Paeng address Arthit as P'Arthit. Idk that's just me. Lol.)
Music: 9/10 - The songs are really nice and matched the main characters well. I find myself doing the little dance of the theme song sometimes.
Rewatch Value: 7.5/10 - Maybe I'll rewatch, but fast forward.

Overall, it's a good lakorn. If you like love-hate relationship then I reccomend. There's a lot of memorable scenes too.

Lots of enjoyable adventures.

I wasn't planning to watch this lakorn, but decided to check it out last minute. Surprisingly, I got really hooked since the first episode.

Story: 9/10 - World of Himmapan is a supernatural lakorn about Pim (main girl) who was determined to find the Ulgamanee crystal to cure her sick father. Which the crystal is located in the Himmapan forest, a forest which believed to not exist. She embarks on a journey to find the crystal with her friends. The amount of adventure that they have to go through is really enjoyable. But, it kind of got boring after they met Singhon.
Acting/Cast/Characters: 8/10 - The acting was pretty good. Cast was great. Krit (main guy) was a pretty funny character. He seems to make a joke out of everything. Hiran (past life) was a brave warrior, total opposite of Krit. Pim was a strong, logical character whereas Thipapsorn (past life) is weak and pure. Supporting characters were interesting and funny. Especially Patson. He was so funny as a coward. Lol.
Music: 7/10 - The songs are not that memorable, but they're a good listen.
Rewatch Value: 8/10 - I'll probably rewatch the adventure scenes.

Overall, if you like modern mixed with supernatural with sudden use of powers then I reccomend. There's a good amount of adventure, romance, and comedy.

Scary!

Not scary as in ghosts, but scary as in the crime topic that was focused on. The whole rape and murder crime was really hard to watch. I have to skip a few parts because it's the same scene repeating. I watched this whole show without English sub, except for the first 2 episodes. I can understand a little bit, but correct me if I'm wrong on any of my points.

Story: The story/plot was really good. It was going at a good pace, no unnecessary scenes. By episode 3 or 4, everybody already know that Belle is a ghost. Good comedy and horror that balance out the show. I really enjoyed the scenes where Belle haunt the people in the mansion and some of them decides to start an argument with her. Lol. I just don't understand how Piangruk can't tell that Belle is a ghost and have to prove it. But, with her being able to see ghosts is really cool. I always suspect that Belle's corpse have to be at the mansion where everyone was staying and I always thought that the corpse is in Belle's room. Turned out it was in Piangruk's room before it got renovated. It's scary how the criminals hid her inside the wall like I would've never thought to search there.
Acting/Cast: Everybody was great in their role from main cast to supporting cast. Especially Plengkwan, I think she's perfect as Belle. She can be cute and scary at the same time. Piangruk is a person who can see ghosts and will help them get reborn if the soul is willing to. I really like Piangruk, but I'm so annoyed that whenever she wonders about what happened to Belle, she will always go ask Belle like Belle will not do anything to her. Piangruk will always go to Belle that's why Belle was able to use her body to spend time with Guy. Belle is so pitiful. She doesn't deserve what happened to her. Nobody does. But, she was able to get revenge, but if she's filled with rage and revenge, she wouldn't be able to reborn. Daonuer helped her get out of that cycle of revenge with her final victim, Win. Guy is truly a lovable person. I know he really love Belle, but ghost and human cannot be together. I understand why he fell in love with Piangruk again. She was always there for them. She comfort Guy when he was in distress and tried to help Belle get reborn. I honestly think that Police Officer, Muat Jame (I think that's his name) should be part of the main cast too. If it weren't for him, they would've never know who the bad people are. He never give up on finding Belle's corpse and catching the bad people. I also really like how he believes in ghosts despite being a police officer and not based everything on scientific evidence or research. I also have a feeling that he has a little crush on Piangruk. Win is pitiful as well. If his mother haven't treated him badly and his father have not abused him, he probably wouldn't go this far. But, I remembered Piangruk telling Guy that Win's mother, Piangruk's aunt, got raped. Probably one of the reason why his mother never loved him and for him to act this way. Every action has a reason.
Music: The music sounds good, but don't really match the scenes. It's forgetful.

Overall, this lakorn is well written, a little heavy on the crime scenes, but still watchable if you're strong enough to handle the scenes. Lol. I will probably rewatch it, because it's entertaining, scary, and funny at the same time.

Nicest evil twin ever.

This is a really heavy lakorn; I had to put it on hold for awhile. I couldn't take on how the story line is moving. But, every actor and actress did a very good job, especially Kim! She's a natural.

I have to say, my favorite characters are Duen and Pee. Pee is the only character that's innocent (imo), everybody else not so innocent. Duen went through a lot and the only person who were there for her and loves her was Pee. It was only until his last breath where she realized she loved him. But, Duen wants the best for herself that's why she kept choosing the same path every time. I pity her so much; she's such a strong character. She never really tried to hurt Pi except that one time where she tried to scratched Pi's face with a knife. Other than that, she really cares for Pi and their aunt. Also, Duen works really hard to get to where she is and when Pi entered the industry, she gets everything easily.

I don't really like Pi, she's wayyy too nice. Even after she said, she's not going to be considerate of Duen anymore, she's still way too nice to Duen. I understand that she's your twin sister, but Duen tried to hurt her that one time. She got really annoying for me. For Warit, I felt like he's just there... as a love interest for Pi. I don't have much to say about him. I don't like Warit and Pi together. I can't really feel the chemistry. Fast forward their scenes most of the time.

Pae and Bussaba are SO ANNOYING! They are so toxic and psycho. Bussaba always picks fights with Duen, she deserved it when Duen beat her ass. Pae is so weak (Bussaba too). He relies on Bussaba to provide for him. Both of them deserves each other. BYEE! LOL. But, I enjoyed Bussaba and Duen's cat fights.

Overall, it's a good lakorn on some parts. Wouldn't recommend it to people who are easily triggered by cursing and rape. This is a really heavy lakorn with little comedy. I'm just sad that there's no other side couple that are cute and non toxic to balance out the heaviness of this lakorn.

I really anticipated this lakorn.

The chemistry between Mike and Mookda is really good. The story line wasn't what I was expected. There's some flaws here and there if you pay close attention.

Songkran was a player, casanova who never was serious with any girl until he met Dao. Songkran did really live up to his nickname except when he lets Dao live with him suddenly. But, then it was explained later that he knew who she was. So, I guess he just wants to play her game. But, I was expecting something like a big realization where he finds out about Dao's identity.

Dao is a strong character who wants to take revenge for her sister and father. I don't usually like main girls taking revenge because most of the time they forgot what their goal was. And that is exactly what Dao was doing. Her revenge plan wasn't moving forward at all throughout the series. Didn't even manage to get the contract and Songkran just give it her easily too. All she does was flirt around with Songkran and his family which is disgusting.

Jan and Rin are both weak at first, but turned evil later. I think these two characters are my favorite. This version made Jan head over heels for Songkran. Before the finals, I was already suspecting that Jan will turn evil and she did. From the way her father was treating her to her older sister liking the man that she likes. So I understand why she turned evil.

I was expecting a big confrontation between the main leads and Rin and the brother-in-law. But, they were attack my Songkran's sister instead. Their punishment was too quick and wasn't good. I also was expecting Jan to be stronger than she is towards the end. Once she turned evil, I wanted to see her being evil all the way. But, her scenes in jail knowing the truth from her father made me cry so much.

Overall, the chemistry of the couple is great. I probably wouldn't rewatch it. The plot is not that good in my opinion. But, if you like Mike and Mookda just give it a try. :)
