Mom and Son moment!

The 2nd movie that I watched with Wallace Chung and I sort of loved this one. The Martial Arts, Fantasy, Visual arts was not a perfect 10 but it was liked. The things I loved about this movie was, of course, is Wallace Chung! The fact that it showed the Mother and Son bond in this piece. I'm a mom of 3 sons so my love for each one and I have a saying "If it took me to save any of my sons in health or life circumstances that I would sacrifice my life for them... I would do it in a heartbeat". I felt this in the story line. I know the movie was released listed in 1976 or here it is 2012 but I am trying to catch up on some of these Chung movies to see if he had passion in acting as he did back when as he did in 2017 " General and I" and so far he does! Don't fool yourselves, I'm not going to be one of those obsessive fans but I love a great movie and movies are not great unless the actor is. I also read where Wallace Chung loves Martial Arts and so do I.

I will be putting "Legend of Yun Xi" on my top 10 Drama Series. Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful! This is a definite ReWatch! Had me sitting on the edge of my chair the whole time.

This drama took me back to their drama "Guardian of the Oath". Same main leads... Luo Wu and Zhao Lu Si. This time this gave a better ending. I love both dramas. This one had just enough action to get me focused. I loved the storyline and I love how Zhao Lu Si plays the role of Shaoshang. Zhao Lu Si made that character her own, it was like she lived the part. Luo Wu does the same thing, he sure looks different in the dramas he played such as Noble Aspirations... His part took a lot of beatings but his martial art acting was extremely good. I love it when ZLS and LW act together in these dramas. It was worth watching every single episode, so this will definitely be a rewatch for me. This drama deserves an Award for sure. The visuals, the martial arts, the settings, and the costumes were beautiful.

Initially, I found myself a bit puzzled by the storyline, prompting me to pause and backtrack to Episode 2 for clarity. Without revealing any spoilers, I must say, it's a series that truly demands to truly focus on the storyline. Ju JingYi delivered a performance that navigated through complexities effortlessly, portraying a role that could easily befuddled. On the other hand, the lead male actor left me indifferent; historically typecast as a villain, Liu Xue Yi surprised me with his adept portrayal of this character. His convincing performance left me eager to see more of him in virtuous roles. The supporting cast, including Li Gi Yang and W Jia Yi, impeccably brought their characters to life. Special mention must go to the writer for skillfully withholding the villain's identity until the final few episodes. Overall, a job well done to the entire crew.

What was with that Ending!

This drama truly stirred my emotions from start to finish; I found myself with a racing heart and tears streaming down my face by the end. Liu Yuning's performance was exceptional, and I can't imagine anyone else in the role. I recently came across a video suggesting that Wallace Huo might have replaced him through an AI face switch, and I sincerely hope that's not the case. My growing discomfort with Artificial Intelligence applications has led me to believe that this technology poses a threat to our world. I fear it will foster laziness and have a detrimental impact on humanity. On a brighter note, I must commend Liu Yuning for not only his captivating deep voice but also his remarkable musical abilities. I'm unsure if he has undergone martial arts training, but if those action scenes are a result of his acting skills, they certainly appear authentic.

I loved the strong woman part, played by Liu Shi Shi (great name) I hope to view more of her work. I can imagine all the wires she had to go through to play this part, flying in the air and all the twists and turns. She is a 10-star actress for me.

The Martial Arts Scenes: I loved how they paused the camera to show their poses in the fight scenes. I wish all dramas did this.

Update: Wallace Huo did NOT replace him. It was a hoax.

Another storyline with a confusing ending, it sounds like there will be a part 2 to this story. Yang Mi is one of my top Chinese actresses and of course, she did what she is known for and that is an excellent actress. (I still love her in Historical drama) This is the 3rd drama that I have viewed Bai Yu in a drama. I need to see more of him. I loved him in the "Guardian". This is one of many dramas with Doctors/Nurses/hospitals that handle various medical crises. I really won't look at these types of dramas but I did was because, again, Yang Mi was in this.

Shawn and Tang played their characters very well. I loved the storyline where a person can be in an accident no matter if it's in the air or the ground. None of us know what happens when you become comatose or need induced coma. Science states Patients in a coma appear unconscious. They do not respond to touch, sound or pain, and cannot be awakened. Their brains often show no signs of the normal sleep-wakefulness cycle, which means they are unlikely to be dreaming. ... Whether they dream or not probably depends on the cause of the coma. But then yet you have others say they had a series of dreams while being a coma.

The only reason why I rated this an 8 is because of the music. I won't say which songs were off-key. There were two songs that the vocalist was off-key and made the song off! The storyline was great! The cast did an awesome job. Thanking the writers and everyone else who did their part.

OMG, OMG, this was so good, I loved it and I will rewatch it very soon. The best fantasy I have viewed in a Korean Drama. Wow, I'm impressed! I didn't think I was going to like it because of the Season 1 Naksu but I do love the actress who is playing Naksu in Season 2. I have seen her in other dramas. Lee Jae Wook (Jang Uk), where did this actor come from, he is really awesome and I love his acting skills. I want to see more of him. Go Yoon Jung (Naksu) had 3 characters to play and of course, my favorite is Naksu. Hwang Min Hyun (Seo Yul), Shin Seung Ho (Go Won), Yoo Joon Sang (Park Jin), and Oh Na Ra (Kim Do Ju) who are part the main leads roles I mean they did their jobs so awesomely. Hwang Min Hyun was very believable in his character. Yoo In Soo (Park Dang Gu) and Im Chul Soo (Lee Cheol) were support actors who should have been part of the main lead team. That's how good they were. The costumes, the visuals, the animations, and the fantasy were undeniably awesome. I thank all the other supportive actors/actresses who had a part in this drama. The storyline of both Seasons 1&2 OMG, I never loved a Korean drama like this one.

Note: I was chewed out by a newcomer who said all I talk about is the actors and actresses and not the storyline. If I told you the storyline now would that be fair to those who watch it? That's like me telling you the ending. This drama is exceptionally good and for those who love fantasy dramas, this is for you.

I really loved this drama. The visuals and fantasy were all great. The storyline was awesome except for that last episode, I mean it was good don’t get me wrong but the ending ended like there was going to be a good ending but then in the last 10 seconds of the episode it didn’t seem like an ending. It just left you hanging. I went on the web and found there were supposed to be extra episodes 41 and 42 but that never happened so I was upset. I’m not trying for anyone to stop watching this drama it is excellent and I was satisfied all the way until the last 10 seconds. You will have to watch it to understand what I mean but please don’t skip all the episodes to watch the last 10 seconds or you will miss an excellent drama.

Chen Xing Xu was so darn good as the Empyrean Xuan Shang, I don’t know how else to describe him. I love this actor. I almost didn’t recognize who he was until the 2nd episode. To change into 3 different types of personalities and play his original character of a total of 4 personalities was crazy excellent. I fell in love with the Fire character. Lol. Landy Li (Li Guang Ye Tan), her playing this role, and I want to see more of her. This is my second time watching her and really didn’t get her in the first drama. The way she played her character was really good. A lot of emotions I felt. Luke Chen (Chao Feng) and He Xuan Lin (Li Guang Qing Kui), these two, wow, were great, Luke Chen is very handsome and He Xuan Lin she played that very nice and mannered character, she was lovely.

The visuals, fantasy, costumes, graphics, animations, and music are excellent. I thank all the actors and actresses who also played great, I applaud them. Thanking all of the team that made this drama a success for me.

I am so angered!

Why are the writers in China destroy a story in the last episode? OMG! I mean c'mon writers get it together. I watched 40 episodes to not see what I wanted to see. At least you didn't kill them off. But seriously, this is not the first time you all ruined it for me. I will still rate it at a 10 because of Ren Jia Lun and Li Qin. Ren Jia Lun who played Lu Yan and Li Qin who played Yu Deng Deng absolutely played their parts with perfection! I loved the fantasy, the martial art, and the visuals all were done awesomely. Thank you to the team and I hope enough of us complain about giving the fans a great ending. This ludicrous. We are already so many bad things out in the real world, we need to see something positive.

THIS WAS SO GOOD!

FIRST OF ALL, I love Rain! Everything he does or touches is a 10. Kim Bum is so cute in this drama even when his role called for him to be upset. He did an awesome job being a host! The storyline may be boring to others but it kept me focused that I needed to see the next episodes. I believe that I have a ghost in my living quarters. We do NOT know or understand what happens during the death process. I'm not in a hurry to find that out either. All I know is this was a really good drama and I will be rewatching it.

I love a good romance story and this is one. The storyline was perfect without any competition between men and women in this drama that would end up killing each other. Let me talk about Timmy Xu, who may not be so popular back when he started out acting... People and their homophobic ideals, and not talking about Timmy Xu... I'm talking about those who surround this actor. What a beautiful and handsome actor he is. He deserves this 10! The way he does Martial Art was very good. I loved the character he played in this drama. His acting was very believable and those eyes are penetrating. I applaud him! Gülnezer Bextiyar was perfect to be the main actress that plays Liuli... she was great. I loved how her character persisted to avenge her mom's death and it showed how good GB is in her acting skills. The visuals on everything in this drama were beautiful to see. I loved the costumes, the embroidery all of it! The storyline was perfect! Thank you to the team of writers, directors, and all the actors and actresses. The storyline came alive in front of me and I felt like I was in the movie as a spectator.

I loved the storyline but it had one thing I did not like and that is it kept going back n forth on the storyline. How many times did both main leads become injured all throughout the story? The visuals, the music, and the costumes were all excellent. The martial arts were very good. The ending had me fooled. The actress who played Mo Huan was very believable, made me think she was the real deal. I didn't skip any episodes, watched it all the way through. I will have to watch it again since it aired not too long ago and it was hard keeping up when you have to watch week by week. I think most would like this.

I love this ending.

Bai Lu, my favorite Korean actress, consistently impresses with her ability to embody and breathe life into her characters. Her portrayal in this drama is no exception; she effortlessly makes the role her own, delivering a truly believable performance. The intelligence woven into the storyline took me by surprise, and I find myself compelled to rewatch it, eager to catch any nuances I might have missed initially.

Zhang Ling He, a relatively new actor with four years under his belt, continues to show remarkable improvement with each project. His depiction of a character with two distinct personalities within the same time period is a testament to his talent. The first episode demands focused attention, and his compelling performance truly stood out. His captivating eyes, a personal weakness of mine, added depth to his character, resonating with my emotions throughout the drama.

This journey was an emotional rollercoaster, evoking tears, smiles, and even prompting me to throw my slipper at the TV in moments of heightened engagement. The stellar cast, comprised of many talented actors, contributed significantly to the overall excellence of the drama. Special thanks to each of them for their dedicated efforts. Kudos to the writers for crafting a compelling narrative, and I'm particularly grateful for the inclusion of martial arts in the storyline. The swordplay was a delightful element that added an extra layer of excitement. It was surprising that Zhang Ling's second persona didn't engage in much martial arts, leaving me yearning for more. Nonetheless, the overall experience was truly worth it.

IMO

This drama had me completely captivated! Despite my usual aversion to scary movies, this one wasn't too intense for me – as long as it didn't involve vampires or zombies, I was on board. Bai Yu, the main lead actor, impressed me with his performance, especially considering his character had no background in martial arts. His portrayal exuded humility, and it marked my first time witnessing his acting prowess.

As for the main lead actress, Ni Ni, she was truly remarkable in her role. Even if she isn't well-versed in martial arts, her acting suggested otherwise – she delivered her character with such finesse. I particularly admired her costumes. The set design and the depiction of the world above the parallel world were nothing short of spectacular. The animations were commendable, and I must give Turkey a high five for the excellent execution, earning a solid 10 rating.

The turtle animations bridging the worlds were a personal favorite, and I found myself contemplating if they were linked to those that disappeared. Admittedly, I did close my eyes quite a bit during the intense moments – it's all part of the experience! The ending was perfect, and my gratitude extends to the writers; the music played a significant role in elevating the overall appeal. Just a side note, snakes and spiders are not my favorite either!
