[STORY]
The story isnt super alluring but the journey of how the story progresses is pretty good.
I didnt think that they would form a damn clique in the show. The story is not very special in the sense that i would give a huge talk about it though. It's like you kind of expect it but they twist it a little more

oh my gosh i swear, once you reach the end you will know why i gave this full marks like yangmi is just mind blowing, ethan really can do any expressions and he has my friend falling head to heels for him. i love xiao qi 's acting too! i havent really seen him before and his acting is just so natural like he makes the character fit his real personality so well.

Not bad, i came into this show knowing that every drama that yangmi has acted in as main role or second female lead is a good show. I really enjoyed ep 1-30, but the back like 57-66 ,i just started to lose interest D: but still worth to watch because quite alot of things unfold in that last few episodes. But my favourite station of all 5 is taiyuan!! which is also ep 1 to 30 ahaha. Give it a try during the lockdown, quite worth your time tbh. it keeps you on the edge of your seat. not gonna lie, i watch the show while reading recaps people have posted and i should probably quit that habit.. D:

this show is one of the best CEO dramas i have ever watched.
i have watched this within 3 days since im in quarantine with everyone else.
i got super super attached with the characters especially the main 2 and like can i just say that fang leng is just super duper hot like hormones please calm down. xiaoqi is super cute and just so silly and naive. fang lie is just that typical loyal best friend and bro that would understand all of your harships. and i really want that hormone perfume :(
seeing christoper lee (fang shi da, their dad) in this show is so weird because his acting is like based in singapore because his family is in singapore and ive watched his dramas growing up (because im singaporean) so its soooooo weird to see him in mainland china drama and with his voiced changed D:
anyways the plot has many ups and downs and seriously thrilling... i recommend everyone to watch this and DEFINITELY recommend this to any of your friends who are planning to enter our world of cdramas!!

[Gonna be updating every week] I am speechless!!

Maybe its because how they both look so good and perfect together
BUT i cant help but fangirl about them two, i cant stop squealing at the end of episode 3!!
I dont like the political side of the drama, the one involving Eun Cheong Su and some other guys. My favourite plotline of the whole show is of course the couple and Room 207 Girls xD and basically how they frantically try and hide Soo Ho from everyone else and having BunOk as the annoying girl and a b****. I also dont mind the plotline of where the police chases down SooHo, the suspense is so good! Especially the trailer for episode 4, like shit gonna get down!!!

The OST so far is also good, especially Eruption's One Way Ticket!
Rewatch value cant be fixed now, but im giving it a 10 first especially since its Jisoo's first drama :>

This show is good if you like slow/gentle romance with thrill and mystery! It's honestly such a good debut drama for an actor/actress as this whole drama plot will contain lots of turns and different feelings at different situations! Im super excited to see how the plot develops and what lead to them pointing guns at each other! [Not a spoiler, its in the trailer!]

Miles Wei for the win!!

I will just be brief. The show has quite an old storyline but the acting and some parts of the plot is what makes it special! Miles Wei... He is just so dashing and I don't even know how I've never realised how charismatic he is!! And Hu Yi Xuan [FL] SHE IS JUST SO PRETTY WHEN SHE SMILES AND AT THE WEDDING SCENE!! SHE JUST GIVES ME SUCH WARM SUNNY OPTIMISTIC VIBES UGH I LOVE HER!! Not to mention XiaoBao!! This is his first drama to act in and he did such a great job! The front where he wasn't talking much was quite a big laughing factor for me but my heart melted at how he started talking. 10/10 Would rewatch!! If you are looking for something simple, CEO, Beautiful Main and Second Leads, SUPER SWEET, This is for you!!

Also can I say that I'm having a major girl crush for all 3 female leads?? Like Doctor Qin, Lin Wei and Yang Ruo Wei!!!

Before i start of with each category, i just want to say how this is just my opinions!
And a short story kind of thing, as this is both released on netflix and youtube, the arrangements of scenes in each episodes are different, so do not jump back and forth with netflix and youtube while watching ashes of love!
At first, i found AOL boring, like as if it wasnt going anywhere and i was really dumb enough to let go of the show at episode 5. zz, but soon i got bored and had nothing else to watch so i decided to jump back into AOL and boy i did not regret a single bit.

Story:
i really like the plot and how some plot twist are really shocking. we thought how runyu would remain calm and gentle but who knew, he was a scheming [female dog]. and the fact that the great floral fairy slowly gave into jinmi because she was finally 'safe' under her father's arm. i wouldnt say who is the biological father of jinmi here, so go watch it yourself. and i super love how phoenix resurrects and became the demon lord man

Acting/Cast:
im sure we all know that deng lun and yangzi have a total of 4dramas together and are really good friends/ maybe dating as some of us shippers notice hehe. their chemistry is great if you go and watch some behind the scenes. not only among the 2 leads, but as well as the lead-supporting roles like runyu and suihe. did you even know that behind the scenes, zifen [flower immortal] and the former heaven emperor were snacking on biscuits like no one's business? how cute!! jinmi and denglun once said in an interview that when they kiss, they dont get shy. yang zi treats denglun like a girl and denglun treats yangzi like guy haha

Music :
not gonna say alot, but not my type. the only song i really like is mao buyi unsullied [不梁] give it a try though, my music taste is quite peculiar among my friends ahha

Rewatch value:
I would rewatch, but IMHO, some episodes were long winded, them walking could take up to 20 seconds of the episode, and maybe if they cut out some scenes, the show would be reduced to like at least 55 episodes than 63, but no complaints! the more, the better !!

Overall:
from episode 45 onwards, get ready your tissue. it is a f***ing emotional rollercoaster all the way till the end. honestly, i watched the whole drama within a week and i wasnt feeling down or ever felt like crying before episode 45. but when i knew what was brewing and when [so and so] killed [so and so], i literally cried my ass off. and suihe being a freaking cunt! like honestly, you will cry. at least from episode 61, no matter how strong you are. And before i post this, i really have to say how this drama taught me so many life lessons like cherish the person you love and no matter how hard it is, true love wont be separated neither will true love be forced. another meaning i learnt is that choose the right choices when it comes to decisions that may change your life. this drama is really worth it. 10/10!
