HI!! Welcome to my bio.   \(*^ v ^*)/

Here you can learn about anything drama-related about me~

°✧◝ HOW I RATE DRAMAS ◜✧°

#1--- Based on my enjoyment. I am not a critic. So I will not have critic-worthy evaluations. I am not here to nitpick at what a drama could have done better. Of course, if it affected the general enjoyment of the show, I will take that into consideration and will not rate it as high as I would have otherwise. But, if I rewatch the drama and realize that I have rated it too high, I will probably go back and bump down the rating a bit.

There WILL be "crappy" and "unoriginal and nothing new or special" dramas that get 10s from me. Nostalgic dramas will remain highly rated even if I rewatch them and realize they are trash XD They are a 10/10 in my heart okay?! XD They have acquired sentimental value over the years :')

You can message me if you ever want to talk about a drama! I am always up for a chat and I will take anything you say as your opinion and solely that. I don't get worked up over having different thoughts on a drama so you don't have to worry about it. So as long as we understand that we are different people with different opinions and you respect that, then we can totally be friends. :)

I can't really bring myself to pick favorite actors/actresses so instead here are the "actors of the moment." (Basically, I'm just really into these actors right now and have probably watched most of their stuff.)

Actor of the Moment: Seo In Guk
I love this man so much! <-- How I talk about literally any actor I like lol. But recently I started watching a drama that In-Guk played the lead about 4 years ago and realized how much I missed him showing up on my screen. I think he is such a versatile actor. He seriously can pull off any role. Some people might argue that saying that a lot of his characters are similar because he does have a lot of roles in which he plays a colder, maybe more childish Male Lead, but that doesn't take away from the subtleties in his acting. He can express so much with just his face in those scenes that have no dialogue, and the emotions that he can portray are just so beautiful to watch. On top of that, I think he is very funny 😆.

Some of my favorite works of his obviously includes Doom at Your Service. That was the drama that made me see him as the amazing actor he is. I loved it so much and it's become my top Korean drama period.

Another drama I like him in is Café Minamdang, and I don't like this drama that much, I just like HIS character and his acting. because I very much despised the FL in this lol. she was such an awful character and I don't think the actress and In-Guk had any chemistry what so ever so the romance was awful to get through.
Recently, I have been watching her dramas A LOT.  She will be amongst my "Most watched actresses" at the end of this year's report for my MLD activity so I might as well just put her here. And I don't mean that as in "Oh, I coincidentally watched all of the dramas you've been in so I guess you can be my "favorite actress"."  I mean it in a: "It seems I started watching you since debut and have liked pretty much every work you have been on and I continue to look forward to your dramas with increasing anticipation and expectations so you have become my Favorite Actress." I think she is quite talented. All of the characters she has portrayed in different dramas so far are quite different from each other. You can argue that she keeps portraying bright characters (except for Hana from "The Uncanny Counter) but even then they are different kinds of cheerful people. Having joy in life doesn't make everyone the same. Plus, being cheerful can sometimes be hard to do since the character can come off as annoying. The way she does it is honestly the right amount for me. I haven't been disappointed with any of her performances.
Actress of the Moment:  Kim SeJeong

J A P A N:
Now, this movie is actually in a tie with another movie that I will mention but this one takes the cake just because I have re-watched it a lot more than movie number two. This movie just noticed that the leading actress is the same leading actress of my favorite Japanese drama so that should show you how good I think she is lol. This movie is just very unique-ish to me since I have nothing to compare it to, it left a big impact on me and so it has come to become my favorite Japanese movie. Now I have watched a lot more Japanese movies than I have any other Asian country so I thought this was gonna be a hard choice but going back to my list and looking at the options this one wins without a question. The movie that it was kind of tied with is "Daytime Shooting Star," and that one came a
Movie: L♥DK: Two Loves Under One Roof
Now, this drama is simply the cutest thing you will ever see. XD I have a very strong attachment to this actress because all of her female leads are just so wholesome and the best, and this actor simply has me in a chokehold. Not literally, but he's acting in this particular drama it's just exactly what it needs to be. It simply just hits the spot just right for me. I guess I have a thing for a cold, mature male lead and a young, silly, and low-key kind of stupid female lead. But not stupid as in like dumb stupid. I mean it as clumsy, and somebody that's very straightforward and honest so it just comes off as them being very naïve so it looks stupid. This is the right drama for good vibes and wholesomeness. Get that daily dose of your cute opposites-attract couple.
C H I N A:
I have watched this movie too many times for it not to be my favorite. I can probably quote some scenes word by word at this point and I do not speak Chinese XD

Like, it's literally just the movie version of        "Love O2O", so it is nothing special per se, and I don't even like the leading actress for the most part, but for some reason, my brain thinks that this is a great movie so I have re-watched it a lot. And when I say I don't like the actors I don't mean that the acting is bad in this movie, I just don't like any of her other works because it just feels like she's playing the same character over and over again so the movie's fine but what I'm trying to get at is that there's nothing super special about it. It doesn't have anything specific that is original and unique so it makes the movie stand out.

I low-key can't think of anything super special about this drama, except the acting. The characters are just so good because the actors portrayed them are just so good 😊
It's not my most re-watched Chinese drama, but it is my favorite one because as of this moment, I have watched it a lot more recently and I just really like the vibe of the drama. I take it back there is something unique about it. This drama is a historical drama with historical accuracy in the way that the characters dress, maybe some modernized pieces here and there, but it's faithful to the time-period, so it has a unique costume design compared to other dramas of the same time-period out there. So I like the scenery and the aesthetic of this drama which is unique.
K O R E A:
I will be very honest. I do love this movie, but I can't call it my favorite XD

As of when I am writing this, I don't think any of the Korean movies that I have watched so far stand out a lot to me. Not enough to make it my fav anyway. Right now, they are sort of all on the same level of 8 - 8.5.

So while this movie is amazing, you should watch this, it is also tied with "A Werewolf Boy", "Exit", "Homme Fatale", "Sunny", "The Beauty Inside", "The Magician", and finally, "The Royal Tailor."

All of them are amazing and I recommend each and every one :)

I honestly cannot get over this drama just yet. While I have noticed that there were a lot of mixed reactions to this drama, maybe because people didn't understand the fantasy aspect of it, a lot of people were complaining that it was very confusing, despite other people's mixed reactions, I think this drama is one of the best dramas to come out of 2021. Not only is it a very unique drama, but the acting is just so good. And I think that's what made it work because the story is indeed very strange, but it just seemed like people couldn't simply look past that to see how this drama is XD In my opinion. Because honestly, to me, the fantasy world that this drama tries to build is not confusing at all. It's very straightforward. His name is Doom, and he was created by a deity of life. It is later explained that he doesn't bring doom, he just exists to keep track of the things that disappear. But he doesn't cause things to disappear. Then later you learn that he was meant to be human all along, so when he does become human, the theory is that a new doom would be created since someone needs to exist to keep track of the things that are doomed/disappearing. But even without the theory that new dooms would be created, all you need to know is pretty straightforward. He was created to keep track of things that disappear, he was created by a deity of life. Now I understand that this show is not for everyone because it requires a lot of attention since you get to know these things through details. You have to think about it. Because throughout the drama they never straightforwardly say this. This is why I think a lot of people didn't take a liking to the drama since they had to be paying close attention. Which is not a bad thing. I get it that sometimes you just wanna watch something to unwind so you don't want to think about it and put the pieces together, but I would just mean that this is not the drama for you, it does not make it a bad drama.
T H A I L A N D:
Now, this movie is like actually a horror movie...... I don't do horror AT ALL, but I have rewatched this movie SO many times.

There is just something about a good story and good acting that just makes you forget about the genre and sucks you into the screen so that you are fully invested in the characters' stories and what they have to achieve.

I honestly can't say much since I don't want to spoil it for anyone who watches out for spoilers and is obsessed with going into things blind so I literally can't say anything about this movie, besides the fact that it's a good movie and that the actors have great chemistry, otherwise, it could be a spoiler since a lot of details could slip since the movie is based on suspense factor. So, to keep the mystery alive, I will refrain. But seriously, watch it XD It's awesome.

Movie: Inhuman Kiss
This one was picked just because it is my highest-rated Thailand drama.
I don't watch Thai dramas at all anymore for some reason. Guess none of them have caught my eye recently.
This drama however is hilarious. Not just the plot, but the characters are just so ridiculous and caught up in their own "problems" that they end up in SUCH stupid situations that I can't take it seriously. Not even when the dude was in the hospital after a car crash.
So if you're looking for some light-hearted fun, this should do the trick
T A I W A N:
I have literally, as of this moment when I am writing this, only ever watched 2 ... TWO Taiwanese movies.

That is not to say that this is a bad movie and I just picked it because I didn't have a choice. It is still a great movie and as of right now, since only have 2 movies from Taiwan XD it is my favorite.

A bit cliche but it does not disappoint and I would say that it has its twist to the cliche plot of the "ugly-girl-gone-pretty-after-meeting-hot-dude" trope.

Movie: Our Times
This drama right here is simply just a masterpiece XDThe casting, the acting, the story, the way the story unfolds, the undying tension, and I am talking about the sexual tension between the two leads, which can be cut with a knife because it's so freaking palpable, has made this drama irreplaceable in my life and I am very happy to have ever watched it. How's that for dramatic? XD But in all seriousness, the kind of story that this drama tells and the way that it handles the story is very realistic and I could see this playing out in real life so the story doesn't seem far-fetched at all and it conveys normal human emotions. The whole drama is about these two individuals who fall out of love with their partners, and while they appreciate them and like them as people, they just don't love them anymore. After they realized that they weren't in love with their partners anymore it was really hard for them to leave them, because they are still people that they care about, and in the meantime, this boy and this girl are falling in love with each other.
