Accidentally In Love (2018) (10) China

I am going to be a little biased - this was very first drama that I had ever watched at the end of 2018 that officially introduced my roommate and I to the world of dramas. We rewatched this twice together. It was cute and silly and totally romantic! It is about friendship and finding out who you are and who you want to be. Plus Yi Yang and Fang Fang's side romance was soooooooo cute! The mains also had amazing chemistry. I still have yet to find something similar to this and would love to see both actors do something together again. ALSO, all the original songs for this drama are to die for!! I added them to my youtube playlist :)

Love O2O (2016) (10) China

This one was the second drama I watched. It was the first drama that I had picked out - another Netflix drama (or drama that is on Netflix). I think what drew me in was that Xiao Nai and Wei Wei were college students who were top gamers (Nai #1 overall, Wei Wei #1 woman) who had gotten married in the video game in order to enter a tournament to find out that they attend the same college and fall in love in real life. And their romance is extremely sweet and they act like a cute married couple throughout.

This drama stuck with me so much because this was one of the only dramas, if not the only drama, I have watched where there was zero conflict that could break the two mains apart because they had complete faith, trust, and love for one another. There were many bumps in the road, but they chose to love one another through it all. This was also the first drama where I fell completely in love with the side characters. I loved how once Nai and Wei Wei got married in the game (as well as when Nai and Wei Wei announced their relationship in real life), Nai's roommates became protective older brothers to Wei Wei. I loved all of them. 

Like find someone who will look at you, the way Nai looks at Wei Wei when she eats chicken

I loved the nerdy humor in this and how all characters were top of their class

My Mr Mermaid (2017) (9.5) China

This one was the third drama I had started in early 2019 and was so sad that it was coming to an end, that I decided not to finish it. Don't worry, I restarted it back in October 2019 and finished it in a week and sad that it is over, but happy that I finally got to see their happily ever after. I loved this one because it had to silly-ness of Accidentally In Love combined with the competitive atmosphere of collegiate swimming as Yi Bai was making his comeback after his suspension, trying to prove he deserves to be one of the top male swimmers to one day make it on the Chinese Olympic team. I loved the romance between Yi Bai and Yun Duo...once they accepted their feelings for one another..which took a little bit. But once they do, it is totally worth it. They are so cute! Unfortunately, their romance seemed to be the only one that was real. Luckily, Yi Bai and Yun Duo's relationship made up for everyone else. I loved how they supported one another with their dreams. And besides the mediocre romance with the side characters, they were all actually really fun people and added a lot of the comedy. QQ was def my favorite!

Strong Woman Bong Soon (2017)(10) Korean

Finally! A Korean drama!! Honestly, I don't think this drama even needs explaining - it lives up to its name as one of the top all-time dramas on MyDramaList. But if you aren't convinced, here you go, and you're welcome <3

Ok, I'm done now! This drama was full of passionate romance as well as a ton of comedy as Ahn Min Hyuk is one of the funniest people in this drama. Also, the villain in this drama is tied for first place with the Subway Killer in Catch the Ghost as the BEST / CREEPIEST villain in a drama ever.

Oh My Venus! (2015) (10) Korea

I found this one randomly and I was hooked from the very beginning. 

John Kim's underlings honesty are tied for first with Nai's roommates and best friends from Love O2O. They were the ultimate friends and hype men during Kang Joo Eun's training. They became like little brothers to both of them, but they would also fight to protect both John and Joo Eun. This is the drama that made me fall in love with Henry (left) and Jang Joon Sung (right).

I could talk all day about them, but this is about John and Joo Eun. I loved how they were both serious and mature adults, but when they were together, OMG...they were like kids in love.

Honestly, I am sad that they aren't dating in real life because they have such amazing chemistry, but I guess modeling best friend is fine too. Plus I like Shin Min Ah and actor Kim Woo Bin together.

Meet Me @ 1006 (2018) (10) Taiwan

This drama was actually low on my list, but after watching both Nikki and Lego in "Love @ Seventeen" together, I was interested to see if it is true if their chemistry would be better in this drama because they had been love interests previously. And this drama surprised the hell out of me! I was at the edge of my seat from episode one and literally binged this in one weekend, refusing to take a break. Their chemistry was way better than L@S. The plot was cute and very dark as it was a time traveling murder mystery. Zhen Yu is a lawyer who losses a huge murder case, but when he moves into a new apartment and finds out at 10:06 pm every night he was transported back to the past, before the murder had happen and runs into the tenant at that time Jia Le who is a reporter. Together, they try to find out when the murder happened and how to stop it to save Zhen Yu's career as well as help Jia Le save the life of her best friend. Unfortunately, when they do something in the past, the future changes for the worst which could affect one of their lives. This drama is full of passionate romance and kickass detective work. It is also about the ultimate sacrifice when they learn what is more important in life. I cried super hard. Sad tears and happy tears. 

I wish there was more of a following with this drama, it is so good!
