Of the two second gen Ultraman shows I finished (Max and Cosmos), this is easily my favorite. It stayed true to its mission statement of showcasing Ultraman as a hero who saves all lives, and that includes the monsters it faced. The series showcased that there will, and will always be another way to defeat monsters and that not all battles will end with a big fiery explosion. Sometimes, it ends in kindness. For 65 episodes, it showed us the bond between humans and monsters, with the show treating monsters like any other sentient being living on Earth. If we take care of them, they will care for us in return. It's a beautiful thing that the series gets across.

Ultraman Cosmos is a gentle hero and in hindsight, we know that this series is not Musashi and Cosmos' final adventure together as they appear in two sequel movies and later entries in the Ultraman series. So for now, farewell to the hero of kindness, Ultraman Cosmos. I will get into the sequel movies first.

This is, without a doubt, one of the best superhero movies of 2021. The movie was able to pack in a lot of story in under an hour, and showed us what happened to the team after we last saw them together in the two-part crossover in Zyuohger.

The team in shambles, but at the end, they are the Pirate Sentai. My only complain is I wished we have more fight scenes, to be specific, the Marvelous vs. 100 Heroes scene. It felt like they could use some more key (heh) heroes that impacted Marvelous' journey, not just Black Condor.

P.S. Movie has a lot of Easter Eggs for the ones paying attention to Gokaiger and in Super Sentai in general.

What I really like about this series is that from the get go, it already set its tone that this will be a comedy and delivered said comedy. Once the series goes serious, you are rewarded with really great fight scenes that properly reflects the earlier established comedy. Mitsuhashi and Ito are a really great duo, and the supporting cast highlights what makes these two so great.

The biggest surprise is not Kento Kaku's comedic chops or Kanna Hashimoto's comedic timing, but Hayato Isomura as Sagara. He's really great in Kamen Rider Ghost as Alain/Kamen Rider Necrom, one of the early villains of the series who turned good later down the line. This series highlights how villainous he can get once he is off the leash. He's so great at his job that I wish he gets more villain roles in the future. Another thing worth noting about the series is how a lot of the early elements established in the series were neatly tied in at the end. Like seemingly one off stories had interesting payoffs at the show's final arc, leading to one satisfying conclusion.

What I am saying is go watch From Today, It's My Turn!! it's streaming on Netflix in some territories. Will watch the movie soon.

The previous Zero-One Others film is just a setup to this entire film, and once all the setup is out of the way, we are in for a treat. If REALxTIME is the series' true ending, the Zero-One Others films is the series' epilogue, and it's final statement about its message about AI & machines, and what is the true meaning of "justice".

It's bittersweet, yes, but this how they want to move forward. This is, surprisingly, one of the most mature ends the series had. Last time I experienced this kind of feeling was with the final episode of Kamen Rider Blade. Bittersweet endings are fine especially if the lesson hits close to reality. To put it simply, I really like this movie.
